  1. If you mean the heroic quests intended for groups of 2 or 4 players found through normal quest givers/mission boxes: You can do them once a day. Their reward is usually higher or even prototype/artifact quality items. They look like normal quests but take place in some special area or group phase.
  2. (1) you get instant credits... (2) you need to find someone to buy your stuff at that price and wait till he/she does so. There is a (depending on perspective, server and buying community slight to huge) difference.
  3. You mean the patch notes 1.1 - currently active on the public test server: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=141695 There level 50 characters have an own bracket for warzones. Current patch on the other servers: 1.0.2d
  4. Then why do you want to use the emergency fleet pass over and over and over again and that even faster and faster (j/k)
  5. That's like 45 seconds saved... Still easier and faster than running corridors of space stations, entering your ship, travel to fleet etc.... and it's completly free (not even fuel charge)! EDIT: After reading some more replies... It looks like I'm missing something or I simply haven't your need to go there as fast as possible that often (which is more often than once per day)...
  6. Why would I need "fleet passes" for this? Free Quick travel that is re-usabel in 30 min. * Farm and do alot of quests and finish some planet, for example hoth Then just hit quick travel, run/walk/fly to the fleet shuttle and boom "imp/rep fleet" Switch levels at elevator, done... By the time you start grinding the next planet your 30 min quick travel will be ready.
  7. I heard the same thing, though being armstech myself, I must do something wrong (on the other hand, what to do with all the credits? ) But I think, this market will sooner or later settle as the demand will lessen the longer the game is out/the older the server gets. Slicing however will still work, then. You also get missions from slicing, which are one time only and still sell for quite some credits.
  8. *eats cookie* Haven't been slicing myself, but prior the nerf it really paid way more than you needed to invest (and was quite out of the line compared to the other crew skills). Now... Pro: You get a lot of recipes, schematics for the other crew skills (some of which still can be sold (to other players) for a lot of money) Con: It has no relation with any other crew skill, so if you are in for crafting you'll miss components, you'd have to buy from the GTN then.
  9. Pro = latin, meaning here: 'in favor of', 'for' Con = short for latin "contra", the opposite of "pro", i.e. 'against'
  10. Use a flashpoint shuttle (available at almost every larger base/outpost on all planets) -> instant travel to fleet, and it's completly free.
  11. Who said that during maintenance there is only game patching to do? Maybe some defragmenting the database indexes or other optimizations require most of the time?
  12. I remember a cut-scene on Quess (Imperial side) - (not class story related) where the char fires a detonator, then simply walks away while some construction (a crane iirc) just gets blown to bits. I thought it was pretty cool. There are a few more exceptions from the standard just talk and shoot scenes.
  13. @1: Check the preferences for the option to turn this on. @4: Being a Jedi Consular myself (level 30 atm), I have no problems making enough money to afford the training - and no, i don't ask quest givers for more money. My IA (48 atm) had a bit more difficulties in the lower levels, but that was me spending to much on crafting missions. And no, I don't slice. @5: JC are not limited to skirts - there are fully moddable light armor pairs of trousers available @6: The first light saber you get as a JC is fully moddable, so you don't have to use the one you find on a corpse, if you keep the mods on par. A bit more odd is the fact that you go through all the trouble for your first lightsaber as a consular and when going shadow you just get another one (double-bladed this time) from a bag.
  14. That's a bit weird, true - but that was just an (unexplained) chapter change. BTW: If you need to go to fleet, just take one of the flashpoint shuttles. It's faster and has less loading screens.
  15. I think you misunderstand "previous" in this context. It's not the target you had before you selected a new target. It's the target "to the left" of the current (enemy) target. Think of the enemy targets as a form of a list: - A - B - C - D Example 1: You target B, next target will select C, previous target will select A. Example 2: You target B, you target your companion, previus target should take you to A, nextg target to C (haven't tried that though, but that's the way I understand it). What you're looking for is a kind of "target toggle".
  16. You missed the "long time ago in a galaxy far, far away part" On the other hand: interspecies romances are fine... Still, it will get adressed (though that would mean a large overhaul of their stories).
  17. True, work around: use right mouse button instead of the left one.
  18. Shift-Click (left or right mouse button works, the left one does link also in chat though, which can be annoying) and then drag. EDIT: Just noticed that you basically answered your own question
  19. @Drakhor: Yes, I noticed that, too. That is due to the shot/snipe needs time to actually hit/crit on the target (note the small delay between firing and the number popping up). In the meantime, you already started casting your next skill and therefor the reduced time doesn't affect this one. And: Occasionally the cast timer says it would be a 2.5 sec cast but it does fire after 1.5 sec. I usually work around this with laze target, snipe (this crits and activates reactive shot), followthrough, ambush (with reduced cast time) and go from there. ADD: Additionally, keep in mind that your snipe has to actually hit/damage the target. If your shot gets deflected, dodged, or resisted (I'm not sure about absorbed) you won't get reactive shot.
  20. It does affect all cast times, including quick travel, mounting, snipe, ambush etc. but does not alter the global cooldown.
  21. Being european myself, I could not care less about the maintenance hours as I have to work during that period of day and am unable to play anyway. Reading in the forum is another matter...
  22. You do know that anti aliasing (among other things) is coming in patch 1.1 scheduled later this month? My guess would be the 24th of January.
  23. There are no Twi'lek imperial agents. EDIT: I smell something: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=149881
