  1. Delusions of Grandeur (Pub) and our Sith Guild Delusional would like to join up.
  2. None. Don't care for the Cathar. Maybe when you guys release one of the following: Mon Cal, Rodian, Jawa, Wookiee, Trandoshan, Wee-quay, Bothan, Gand, Gran, or a new made up species that isn't just super plain human shapped. I know I know, must speak basic because the grunts and moans of other species annoyed your testers. (Never mind I sat through listening to Qyzen and Khem and about 25% of normal quest givers speaking in Huttese and it didn't bother me.) Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the game. But Cathar aren't my thing. I won't expect it soon. But if you do expand with cooler species, that will be the day I'm super excited and shell out cartel coins.
  3. How about an event called the "Battle of Belsavis" or Voss, or Hoth. The objective is for players to go into the opposite faction's base. This will flag them for PVP. While in the base their daily PVE objective is to kill 10, or whatever, of the level 50 NPC guards. Then as a PVP mission, a person has to kill 5, or whatever, players/player compaions on the planet, preferably ones within their own base area. This way people who want to open world PVP could, but those who don't can just not flag themselves for PVP and just not participate. If this were to happen I'd propose lowering the repair bill from PVP damage and auto unflag people from PVP when they die so they aren't griefed at respawn points and are allowed a moment to catch their breath and regroup.
  4. The "Green Jedi" robes from Corellia. (Though dye packs may make this moot.)
  5. Delusions of Grandeur might be a good fit for you. You can check out our website at: http://www.wehavedelusionsofgrandeur.com We are more focused on PVE than PVP, though we do have some folks who do a little PVPing together. Lots of more mature players in terms of age. We let people be as hard core or easy going as they like. Some players only log a few hours a week, others raid regularly and go after the hardest content. We have a Sith sister guild as well called Delusional. If it looks like a good fit feel free to hop on over to the forums and fill out an "application" which is really just a way to introduce yourself. I do also recommend taking a look at: Shock & Jawa MLP Friendship is Magic Elder Knights 3rd Echelon SGO and there are probably several other decent guilds out there I haven't mentioned, but I've had positive experiences running stuff with people from those guilds in PUGS.
  6. Hood toggle. That is all. Otherwise I'm very happy. Just keep on cleaning up game performance and putting out new content when you can.
  7. Delusions of Grandeur is always looking for new people. You can check out our website to see if it would be a good fit for you at: http://www.wehavedelusionsofgrandeur.com If you're interested you can introduce yourself in the forums.
  8. +1 to this being a great idea. I don't expect Bioware to make this a rush priority. However, I hope they will strongly consider it in a future expansion in the 1-2 years down the road time frame.
  9. Apparently good old Timothy/Carlton did some voices for SW Battlefront as well.
  10. Thanks, that's a great list but Mr. Bamber is still listed as the vague "additional voices." I guess I may never know...
  11. Good idea in theory. In my beta test comments I made similar comments that they should do this (and also open up a 3rd faction for the criminal underworld). Difficult to implement in practice. Maybe someday way down the road we might see something like that in an expansion. But I wouldn't bet on it.
  12. One thing I like about this game is the voice acting. As I was leveling the trooper on Ord Mantel I realized that the voice of Aric was very familiar to me. I soon realized it was Timothy Omudson (Det. Lassiter from Psych). I was really excited about this. I later did an IMDB search on Battlestar Galactica and found that Jamie Bamber (Apollo) does some voices in the game. However, the characters were not listed specifically. I know Jamie is British, so he won't sound like does on BSG. However, does anybody know which characters, however minor, he voices? I'm assuming they are minor characters or NPCs but I would kind of like to know and look for them in game.
  13. If the class is fun for you then play it. Don't worry about nerfs. I've been around for awhile and I've heard a ton about how this class or that class is over powered. How his class or that class will be nerfed, etc. The differences usually aren't as huge as people make them out to be, and what is over-powered during one patch might be changed in another. The thing that matters the most is this: do you enjoy the class and game play? If so then go for it.
  14. and if you were a sentinel then your off hand should be "the brain"
  15. There it is "Dance of the Hutts." Well played Bioware folks.
  16. I thought last year's was a bit funny. Then some folks pointed out how disappointed they were that there were bugs and the developers spent time on the fancy videos for the jokes. Maybe there was a bit too much "production value" put into last years joke. But I don't see why we couldn't have a developer make a comment about the "Rise of the Ewoks" expansion or something with a still pic and a paragraph description instead of elaborate videos. Oh well. I'm not going to troll on the developers for not doing a joke today. I know there are a lot of people working really hard in Austin to improve the game and I appreciate what they do
  17. I don't expect it to be anything done soon, but maybe for a 3.0 or 4.0 expansion how about having a neutral underworld/Hutt faction?
  18. I think it'd be nice to have more neutral NPCs that only attack if attacked. There is one spot, I think on Courscant, where you can kill a bar bouncer and the patrons flee in terror. It'd be cool if there were more encounters where you could shoot up a yellow NPC and something interesting would happen. Maybe attack an Imp/Pub NPC in Voss-ka and have a bunch of elite Voss come out to stop you.
  19. Hi there. I'm the social officer with Delusions of Grandeur (in game my toon is Mat-lar). We're always looking for good people. More importantly, one of our raid teams just had a spot open up for a tank on the Saturday evening raid team, which starts at 7 PM CT I believe. That group is comprised mostly of east coast people, though we have members from many different time zones. A little bit of stock back ground about our guild: Our guild is a real life first focused guild, and we welcome players looking to have a good time. We are more PVE focused than PVP, though we do have some members who group up for PVP. We are more Republic than Imp, but we do have an Imperial off-shoot guild. We also have occasional roleplaying missions to keep life interesting while we wait for new content. This Sunday we have a rescue mission to break into an Imperial base and "rescue" a member who was captured while spying on the Imps. If you'd like to learn more, please check out our website at: http://www.wehavedelusionsofgrandeur.com If you're interested fill out an application in our forums. The application is really just a chance for you to introduce yourself so we can know a little about you and not to judge whether or not you're worthy. We take all players who exhibit a good attitude and want to play the game.

  21. It'd be great to have an item modification kit that could convert any piece of clothing (nerf herder's tunic, the gear you get at level 1 etc.) into orange gear you could continue to wear throughout the game. I don't think it should be easy to obtain, maybe even a fairly expensive cartel coin item. But I think it would add a little more variety to the game. It shouldn't kill the demand for crafted orange gear too much if it is expensive/rare, and it is only a cosmetic thing so it should hurt game balance. Maybe also a convert to bound to legacy gear would be cool. Pass on your old stuff to your toons children.
  22. Hey there. You might want to check out Delusions of Grandeur and see if we are a good fit. Our website is: http://www.wehavedelusionsofgrandeur.com We are more of a casual guild rather than hard core guild. We are decent sized with PVE and PVP groups. In addition to regular PVE & PVP activities we occasionally run open world PVE attacks on NPC bases or open world PVP events inside bases. We have both Pub and Sith sides. Last week a contingent of our Republic and Imperial sides duked it out in and around various bases on Tatooine. There are plenty of other good guilds on this server. On the Republic side you might try: 3rd Echelon MLP Friendship is Magic Shock and Jawa Top Gun Walking Carpets

  24. 1.) Wookiee 2.) Jawa Abstain from 3rd vote. I know that there is the belief that Bioware can't do anything except species extremely similar to humans in shape, and also species that speak basic without breaking the game. However, part of what made Star Wars special was the depth and breadth of alien species out there. Without the ability to create fun and unique alien species, this game is missing out on a wonderful opportunity.
