  1. How long ago did you level up your republic characters? Like, before F2P maybe? Could have something to do with it.
  2. Beta testers reported this game's issues. Beta testers (myself included) repeatedly stated on forums and in bug reports that the game was not ready for release. Besides, BioWare has its own internal QA department that it PAYS to test their game and provide bug reports/feedback in the first place, so saying that people who beta tested for free hold any accountability for this game's massive flaws is just completely baseless, even if all they did was screw around and play for free - which they did not.
  3. I got a RIFT E-mail too. Going to head back and see what's new for the free days.
  4. They sold over 2 million boxes, that's pretty damn successful. Sure, the game's doomed, but they sold a lot of copies.
  5. Funny, I sometimes compare playing SWTOR to dating a virgin. I know it's their first time and I get that, but I just don't think I have the patience to stick around long enough until they get their act together and figure out what it is I need from them. Not when there's plenty of other girls out there who are just as cool, and aren't too timid to kiss me after the third freaking date.
  6. I read the title in the voice of Admiral Ackbar.
  7. I KNEW I remembered a game I regretted buying more than this one; thanks for reminding me! Good ol' Darkfail.

    Hello

Hi. I'm from the internet. I like this game but not enough to pay monthly for it.
  9. http://www.wowwiki.com/Patches/1.x Look yourself. The first raid content to be added in a post-release patch is Azuregos (A blue dragon world-boss) and Kazzak (A giant demon world boss), followed by Blackwing Lair. Molten Core and Onyxia were in at release.
  10. WoW started with both Molten Core and Onyxia, and Blackwing Lair wasn't far behind. It was a big friggin' deal when the first Onyxia kill happened on my server, and it was months after release. There are guilds in SWTOR now, who have cleared everything, and did it in the first two weeks. These aren't bleeding-edge raiders, they're groups of friends with probably a little too much time on their hands over the Christmas season. SWTOR's endgame got rolled over by chumps. It's nothing. That's the name of the game, now, though, I guess, what with how Dragon Soul turned out ...
  11. This also happened in RIFT, most players were Defiants, and the good players went Guardian.
  12. It's definitely better with two, or even four. You even get an experience boost and better loot, and when a party member finishes a quest, YOU get some experience also, for helping them. There's literally no reason not to group with people when you play, ever. And yet people are so reluctant to ...
  13. It's only postponed for a couple days. Read the notice.
  14. I played a sith warrior from release and felt the same way you did - like a drag on the team, not worthy of the slot, etc. I headed into warfronts at level 11 as a sniper and found it very easy to hang. I felt useful, I felt like I helped my team win. The difference was night and day. I don't think it's that Snipers are overpowered so much that Sith Warrior/Jedi knight is currently garbage.
  15. It's been unstickied but it's still on the forum. Look for it buried underneath the pile of other miscellaneous QQs.
  16. The Tatooine Commendation Vendor has a chest armor piece with a cape that is fully moddable. So, what the jawa said.
  17. Why are you playing SW:TOR? Couldn't hack it in World of Warcraft Arenas? You've got the ******* attitude of a high-ranked WoW PVPer down pretty well, too bad your skill doesn't match, right?
  18. "It's only because I love it so much."
  19. You can bring people into your story areas, sure. Invite someone to your group, they can get in.
  20. You should probably go back and read it again. Maybe follow a few links.
  21. When anyone asks me how SWTOR is treating me, I say "Well the game is doomed, but I'm having a pretty good time for now."
  22. Why the hell would I need to know my own DPS without someone else's to compare it to? That makes the information useless ...
  23. The chat log is in the wrong place on the screen, and much too easy to ignore. Personally what I do is log in, and see if I can find someone who is at or near my part of the planet's quest line, and buddy up with 'em. You get an experience and loot bonus for being in a group, and social points from talking to NPCs with them. It is hard to find a like-minded person to do this with though, so I typically keep finding the same couple people after friending them, and we hang out.
