  1. Not sure if this is against the rules, but I'm bumping this so we can get a tutorial on the fix. I'm running in 3440x1440 and it stretches it. I tried the OP's workaround and it didn't work for me. Thanks.
  2. I hope this doesn't come off as rude, but are you suggesting a fix I could perform? Or a fix on SWTOR's end? Thanks!
  3. Not sure if this has been suggested before but here goes: I run at an aspect ratio of 3440x1440. I re-downloaded the game to get a taste of SWTOR again and realized that my new aspect ratio distorts the game. The UI (and in game graphics menu) allows for a 3440x1440 ratio, but it "stretches" the graphics. I google'd these issues for a few hours and couldn't find anything to fix it. I then proceeded to call customer support today and discuss with a representative my issues. In summary I was told that there is not fix to this since SWTOR is an "older game". I decided to try and play the game today trying to ignore the graphic stretch and I just couldn't. Could we please see some form of implementation to fix this, and I'm sure other aspect ratios? Thanks for the read.
  4. I have replied to multiple threads on this. There was a voice actors strike. During this strike, no voice actor could work. The voice overs for most of KotFE was finished, save for the character voice overs. That being said, they had to use this. We should feel lucky that KotFE was released at all. This was a quick fix, to get us our expansion on time. I believe the voice actors have finished with negotiations and will be back to work for the coming chapters.

  6. Not only do I agree, but I think you've just described religion. Are speculating hyperbole trolls zealots? Answer: Yes.
  7. I play as a sorc, and I clear through mobs/heroics quickly. That being said, it doesn't mean it's the quickest. To quickly do what you're asking, it takes skill with class, familiarity with the quests and the environments they are in, and efficiently executing the quests in a timely manner. It's not always the class that is the answer.
  8. I hate to be this guy...I take that back, I love being this guy: Any figure looks large over the course of 10 weeks, but that aside. 600,000 credits is a drop in the bucket in the present SWTOR economy. The "additional" credits for the legacy armour is even less. 15 companion gifts...you don't always get the rank 6 ones, but even if you did, these are purchasable with common crystals and those are almost constantly maxed... tl;dr I need a better argument to be swayed...
  9. I was discussing this with some of the sorcs last night in our op between bosses: We were brainstorming some form of staff to put on the market. Something that would match with the feel of an Inquisitor. I'm sure that it would be difficult to implement since it would need a new model for use, but we were just toying with the idea. The staff would fit the Star Wars universe and could still be used to deflect blaster shots by "wrapping" the Force around the staff. Just a thought.
  10. I was hoping this survey would be opting for different rewards for subscription, not just rating the current model. Nonetheless, I hope this helps improve the rewards. Though, I don't necessarily need anything else to pay for what I'm already enjoying, imho.
  11. At first, I found this to be annoying as well. Yet, after under an hour at 10:30PM CST on Jedi Covenant, I was able to farm 20 of the pelts necessary for this quest. I realized, as much as I do my best to not, I fell into the opinion of hyperbole. I gave some thought to this and other grinds in this game: Almost every RPG, be it multiplayer or single player, has some form of "grind" [i use this term lightly]. Afterwards you realize a sense of accomplishment. tl;dr Where is everyone's sense of accomplishment for sticking it out?
  12. Theron Shan. Nothing like some male on male.....
  13. Dagi: You have used this excuse in multiple posts. If this continues to be an issue with you [English as your primary language] perhaps ask for clarification on the forums before it is an issue, or use the multiple languages swtor.com is translated into. Regards
  14. I've been pondering this compromise for a bit now, and this is only my humble opinion: Doesn't this defeat the purpose of a true level-synchronization? I haven't chosen a side on this heated topic, because I believe in truth and experimentation through the use of variables in which I can wrap my hands around, not speculation. Yet, a little playful theorizing never hurts I suppose....
