  1. Fun would have been leaving prizes for a select few out of it. Fun would have been not dangling things over your paying customers just to see who can copy/paste faster. All you did was prove they'll let you give out codes at will, so why not compensate all the paying customers for the actions of today and just have the fun trivia thread be a fun trivia thread on the side?
  2. This entire "game" is just proof to me they have no intention of compensating people who have loyally paid for access to the entire game.
  3. A wise man who understands how to keep paying customers happy
  4. I find your approach of attempting a short term distraction by pitting your customers against each other despicable. You really want to show your appreciation? Reward EVERYONE for their patience for once
  5. Lucas Arts didn't want competing MMOs with their label. SWG, as wonderful as it was early in it's life, had only been going downhill since NGE turned it into World of Warcraft - Star Wars Edition. So if you don't want competing licenses, which would you choose? Of course they went with the newest option, but hopefully they've now learned their lesson about working with EA.
  6. This. I feel cheated, less than a year after paying full price anyone can get it for free
  7. That actually means nothing without anything posted on the pricing of Cartel Store items or the price of the Cartel Coins.
  8. Especially since the rate of endgame content release is likely to drop from here on out, and as it is we've gotten just 1 additional operation since launch. How is the rate we already have supposed to entice someone to a sub of $15 a month just to play it? Because knowing the rate it already releases at is about to slow I'm having a very hard time justifying why I'd pay when if I play most other F2P mmos they're new content rate may be slow as molasses but at least I'm not paying to play that slow releasing endgame content.
  9. This, but honestly I believe every preorder should be seeing something! Just make it 3 tiered (Standard, DDE, CE) with each tier getting any digital items of the tier below and a step up on the lump sum of tokens (maybe 250, 600, 1000). They already have a proposed trio of digital items for original subs, why not give each tier one more of those items? Otherwise with the guaranteed lack of content until the game relaunches as f2p why would we even stick around now? I know i've been bored for months as it is and waiting for a new op with my guild.
  10. If you won't implement this idea, why not allow 3rd party UI mods so someone else can provide a means for you?
  11. Wrong team. Customer service is just that, customer service. They don't do any of the coding, the most they do in the fixing process is research what the customers are saying isn't working right before forwarding it to the bug team.
  12. A template would be great, because at least then they'd have a spot in the form to repeat your issue back to you, at least proving they read part of the message. As it is you never feel they do unless they contact you via chat.
  13. Seriously, we can't copy and paste the previous message and you just locked the best way we can respond and whatever rep picks it up actually knows what's going on. Why not set the tickets to close 48 hours after a rep responds so that your customers can actually answer questions when you ask?
  14. This is simple customer service. No one feels they are being given any attention when all you do is cut and paste the same exact messages every single time. How about at least adding a few blanks the rep needs to fill in so we know they actually read our ticket and recognize our concerns?
  15. You guys preech balance but I was, after 6 months, finally informed this is the 1 group in the game who's matrix cube was never coded in! It doesn't seem that hard, take one of the other tanking cubes and turn the primary stat into willpower and the combo for 3 blue shards and you're done! It baffles me why you spent so much time in previous months fixing people's cubes yet in 6 months no one has bothered to code in a single missing cube in any patch.
  16. Not allowing someone to crit isn't a solution. A reasonable nerf would be only removing the self healing.
  17. The limit per server has always been set at 8 and I don't see them changing that anytime soon.
  18. Yes, so is WoW, and yet most class nerfs there for the run of the game have been due to PvP, not PvE. Most PvE games have a similar history of re-balancing for PvP and ignoring the consequences to PvE play.
  19. Sure, they had the same amount if the Juggernaut/Guardian was in Tionese and the Assassin/Shadow was in Rakata. Not quite level there, but even now every Juggie tank I know in full Rakata or better is 8k armor to my Assassin tank's just under 7k with Dark Charge. Sure seems to be a gap, as planned. With the proposed changes my armor drops to just over 6400. So we take a 1k gap in Rakata gear and turn it into a 1600 gap AND nerf the skill they declared was their to balance the mitigation difference in a single sweep? No, that's not breaking a class.... I have a 50 Juggernaut and 50 Assassin, both tanks since lvl 10, both I've raided with. In the comparable gear the Juggie took noticeably less damage per hit, things were on par considering the self heals. With the coming nerf if it goes as planned that Juggie in her hodge podge Champion/Tionese/Columi gear will be more survivable than my near full Rakata Assassin. In fact, as is in that hodge podge gear my Juggernaut has 500 more armor than my better geared Assassin, their defense ratings only have a 5% gap, shield rating 10%, and absorption 15%. Now the defensive stats I'd expect differences like that with a gear difference among any tank class, but a much lesser geared tank already has more armor than a much better geared Assassin under the current setup. So how a further 35% reduction in armor not breaking a class in PvE? But what honestly worries me most is the pattern developing. Every nerf is broad and devastating instead of going a more gradual route. This pattern could kill the game if it continues. It shows they don't really think things through before acting, especially when they call a 35% reduction a 'small adjustment'.
  20. Why all the hate toward willpower tanks? We already take more damage, now our armor buff from stance is being reduced at the same time as our self healing? Really looks like only strength tanks are really getting love in this one.
  21. Ok, good idea but if I read it right it seems like a bad implementation so I'd like some clarification. Does the trial only include each of the 4 origin worlds and does not allow play in Coruscant, Dromund Kaas, PvP, or any flashpoints? If so, how can you call it a reasonable trial if they don't have the chance to play any advanced classes, try the PvP system, or experience a flashpoint? That seems like most of the game trials can't taste. Most games use a level cap for the trials as well as a time, so you're stopped when you hit one or the other after having a chance to experience most aspects of the game. But if I read it right, you're essentially ending the trial right where most of the game's experiences become available?
  22. Other than new class/race combinations, what other benefits can we expect from the legacy system?
  23. Either cosmetic slots or they take the step which would make their version of appearance customization work as intended by both: 1) Unlocking the armoring mod in endgame loot like it was originally designed. 2) Bind any mod coming out of endgame loot to the item slot it was removed from. Looking at the dev's own example, instead of someone looting the same boots over and over and placing the mods throughout their armor set, when they remove those mods from the boots they can ONLY go into a pair of boots. Users all over this forum and the beta forum prelaunch all see this as the best solution, but since breaking their own system BioWare seems to be ignoring the issue. Heck, to take it further if they wanted they could make the set bonus come via the mod set instead of the armor itself. Yes, when they broke it there was some improvement by simplifying the total number of mod options, but instead they destroyed the promise of their armor customization and almost any piece becoming end game viable.
  24. They're charging you the difference between standard and deluxe. No loss to anyone who preordered the deluxe there.
