Look at a lot of the chat, most of it is horrid. Why would I to participate in it? When I see someone asking for help, when I don't have chat closed that is, I do open it from every once and a while just in case people are asking for help and an intelligent conversation is going on, I do help them. Most of the time it is is closed how ever. In ops, PvP, Flashpoints, I obviously keep it open. I miss the days when I didn't have to do this in MMOs. Always happens when MMOs go F2P.

Of course some BW employees will be "on duty" this holiday period. If something happens to the servers then what? They will be down for the entire day or two? That will go down well!

If your a LS bounty hunter Skadge would never be on your ship, except in a body bag. I don't know about new companions, given the budget cuts, but you might be right. Would still be awesome. There are also quite a few other choices that would lead to you killing, you just getting rid of, a companion. But no, people whine that they didn't have a healer or whatever companion afterwards. So instead of ignoring the whiners, which they should have, or just replacing that companion with a generic droid or something shortly afterwards. They removed that option. Really wish MMO devs would stop listening to the whining part of the community for once. Sure they may be vocal, that doesn't mean they are right.

So pretty much, the whiners in the beta should of been ignored but weren't, while the people who were telling them to fix the bugs, to launch with a modifiable UI, etc, WERE ignored. Sigh. No, we just have the ability to use our brains. 1. Budget for SW:TOR is far less then what it was pre-launch. 2. Writers for the stories are nearly all gone. 3. They work for separate companies now or not even in the gaming industry anymore, so no chance of getting them back. The main guy, Drew, is part of the later group. 4. The devs have said so already.
