  1. Its mostly the operative in stealth that these warriors jump too. Team based game ya know ? Now if you would have said healing operatives don't need a roll we could start a discussion.

  3. You are bit contradicting here. Don't get me wrong P2W is not what I want the discussion to be about, its about beeing able to enter PVP where everyone is on the same foot in overall stats. No advantages are needed in PVP, its like someone said here, using a cheatcode in a single player game gets boring pretty fast.
  4. Would you compare a cheat code similar as in a situation where 2 persons duel , one person has fully augmented gear, the other has no augments ?
  5. Someone that does PVE gets more money out of it then someone doing only PVP. Conclusion the PVE player can buy what he wants, the PVP player can too but needs to spend alot more time in order to be at even level with other players gear, wich creates an imbalance ( wich you do not have in PVE). Especially someone having more toons. Why'd you think the ranked arena que isn't happening on alot of servers ?
  6. How are pre-mades saving warzones if you got two teams and only 1 team is running a pre-made ? Its just easy win.
  7. Dude learn to read, the chore is the necessity to grind for currency or crafting outside of PVP to be able to augment. NOT the PVP itself. PVP gear shouldn't need augments. I can see you come at the min/maxing then but new players don't know about min/maxing, so there is a gap that the system created on its own already. *cry* If I would get enough money from PVP I wouldn't complain about this, but this isn't the case. *cry*

  9. Here you clearly state that you had to "work" for it, I am growing tired of this argument and can't see the logic in it. I play a game to relax and have fun, not to work. I got a job for that. I think most of the people that object against this are missing "work" in real life You are just one of those guys acting like that you will stop playing PVP (excuse me if I am wrong) once you got the best gear wich is bollox if you really like the PVP on its own. Again, if you have nothing to add to the discussion don't post. Little kids start throwing insults too once they are out of arguments to state their opinion. Read the rules of conduct, you have to be constructive. Its a forum, its meant to discuss, you fail at it, hard. If that makes me look like an illiterate **** just imagine how you look with these kind of reactions. No the game itself is fun enough for me without paying to win, without doing stuff I don't like to do wich is in this case grinding non PVP stuff in order to be able to augment the gear on all of my toons. Stop acting like a cynist please, it doesn't work on a forum.
  10. /thread. Based to the rock, paper, scissor (tank, healer, dps for those who don't understand) format of this game. If you remove pre-mades you get so many random game compositions in wich tanks and healers would be worthless, because there is no role check system to que for normal warzones and the reason why there is no such system in this game is because the population isn't big enough to support it. in wich there is a high chance that after a while nobody will roll a tank or a healer wich leaves us with dps only. And that is because so many people just don't get how the mechanics in an "m multiplayer orpg" work. (especially PVP only players). The only solution to exclude the randomness that would occur at this very moment with a solo que only could be solved by cross server and a que with role check. Exactly the same way an operation que for PVE works, but doubled. The devs have stated over time that cross server will never happen (due to technical difficulties and game engine ? and I think that they fear that the current population can not support a solo que (just imagine how many people that play an mmo for the particular roles in the game will quit because of the randomness) And that is the only reason I think that they haven't implemented a role check in 8 man PVP normal warzones. There is just no one at Bioware out there that has the balls to confirm or deny this on the forums. Let alone even, give us the slightest explanation why this is been going on for 2 years now. Community interaction ftw PVP is awesome in this game, make a few little changes and it could be even better.
  11. Give each class role a basic PVP gear set, then let people grind for mods/enhancements that are only usable in PVP to finetune their gear according to spec. Make PVE gear not usable in warzones and vice versa. For example make the PVP stats low enough so that you can't use the PVP mods in PVE and keep the expertise without bolster to avoid PVE players in topgear causing a gear imbalance in level 55 warzones Drop augmentations in PVP (oh right crafting is even more useless again then ... ) Never mind .... I like the legacy idea.
  12. You see, you hate doing a part in order to compete in the PVP. Games should be all about fun, not having to do stuff you hate. Or am I thinking that illogical now I totally understand the concept of an MMO, where the company tries to do everything in its power to keep people playing their game, but on the PVP part of things I have a feeling that a grinding system just keeps more players away instead of keeping them.
  13. Well, just read all the replies in this topic. None of them who has answered talked the slightest bit about my newyearswish. Selective reading indeed. Like you say, you do crafting, you have to do it in order to augment your toons, that's the whole point that bothers me. I am not gonna say I entirely dislike the rest of the content in this game in order to get there, I am crafting too now on different toons but not because I like it, more out of necessity. I am just pointing out that the players that only want to PVP have to spend time in other parts of the game wich they might dislike in order to compete with other players.

I got 4 level 55's and I'd like to gear all of them, meaning augmenting wich is very costly, in order to get the ingame credits to augment all my gear I have to do either PVE dailies, wich I hate doing, buy cc stuff on the market and sell it (P2W ) or do operations wich I am bored off once I completed them once. (Atm I am leveling crafting skills etc, just to be able to augment my toons, but not because I like doing it, because its the one thing I can do while I am PVP'ing) I have clearly stated in my beginning post that the title is just meant for grabbing peoples attention, if you actually would read the post on the page I linked too you would see this. I am against the cc market entirely, I rather grind for getting cosmetic stuff then that I have to buy it. Grinding for PVP gear is one thing, having to grind in other areas of the game in order to PVP on the same level as someone who actually likes doing PVE dailies is an obligation and not what I play a game for. I am not talking about gear gaps or anything, but anyone that played a little PVP knows the difference between an augmented and non augmented geared toon. If I had like one gamechanging wish I could make for next year it would be having mods only for PVP, no gear at all so min/maxing is still possible and using any cosmetic gear you want.   15. Why is that ? Oh because you said so. Aight ? Where is the constructive part in your post ? If you have nothing to add to the discussion don't post. The only objection I've seen against the removal of a gear grind for PVP comes from people who say that they need that grind because they don't like the game anymore / get bored if that's removed. And the only reason why that IS in the game is because there are so many of you. I enjoy the game without grinding, I make that clear and now a whole lot of people want me to uninstall etc

  18. Well the racist insult, it was a reaction after someone said to me "I don't belong in this world." So forgive me for that I'll scratch that immediately !! Just imagine someone saying that to you in real life But if you only saw the gimme gimme gimme part in my text I have a feeling you only read what you wanted to read I addded a blue part at the start just for you, so you don't have to read my "life story"
  19. I have slicing on my juggernaut, so no extra crit chance on missions there with the companions. Since 2.0 I have at least send all my companions on slicing missions like 20 times (without buying purple ones) so thats's a 100 slicing missions and I haven't got 1 Thermal Regulator. I don't play the toon as much and the companions I send on the sliced tech parts missions have an affection of around 8500 each atm. I remember before when you needed Advanced Neural Augmentators that they dropped alot more in comparison. Working as intended ?
  20. Yes, many people have told me this already in this topic, this isn't the game for me, I do not belong here etc. I think you are just a person that puts PVE and PVP in the same box. Wich is what Bioware does too and wich is wrong in my very own personal opinion. Now to just wrap it all up, atm I have 4 level 55 toons (four main classes in this game). (+ 2 more level 50 toons and a few other lowbies) none of them is fully geared let alone augmented. Due to the many switching I like to do between classes, you know not letting things getting to repititious, I have up until this time never been able to gear all my toons in full between the gear updates, but I still want to compete with the best players, still, to be able to do that you need a fully geared character, it is how it is in this game. Besides the time I need to GRIND all the gear for these toons I also MUST spend time doing repititious missions wich I don't want to do, to earn money to be able to augment my gear and be able to buy augments to put in those augmentation kits !! This almost feels like working. Forgive me for just wanting to play PVP. All things aside this topic wasn't really a serious suggestion, due to all the "cons" people have said here anyone that knows how "the system" in an MMO works knows this can't happen in a game like this, where the PVP gear is usable in PVE and vice versa due to the "progressive nature of the game" wich makes it ofcourse pointless for the people that are brainwashed by the incentive nature of humanity where most people only do something if they get something for it and once that ends quit playing the game since they no longer can "progress". Tough I see it more as "Keep people doing repitious stuff that they don't really like doing, but they have to do if they want to be able to compete in endgame so they have to play the game longer, since most of them quit the game once they reached the end of the progression and we won't make any more money nature" But I hope I made my point that I absolutely hate leveling, grinding and would just like this game to have "SEE BLUE PART" to play the game in a PVP competitive environment where I don't have to do stuff that I do not like to do. I really haven't met anyone saying, hey I like doing this daily mission every day its soooo much fun !! Or is that the definition of a PVE only player Praise to all who keep playing this game even after reaching the endgear. *bows*
  21. I'd like to see an autocrit when I use backstab on a target that is poisoned by either acid blade or corrosive dart for the concealment tree, this would up the overall dps and make concealment a bit less dependent on their opener only.
  22. Would you consider it impossible to have achieved the "required skill" upon reaching level 55 to que for ranked warzones ? Can you define the "required skill to excel in a ranked warzone" ?
  23. If you ask me the P2W objection is quite outdated, especially since you say that people quit playing the game anyway once they have the top gear. Meaning that if they could buy the gear, they would immediately stop playing wich results in not playing at all. Doesn't make much sense does it ? Everyone that plays this game for quite some time knows there is this vicious circle of newcomers / new alts getting hammered by players that are fully geared and that has nothing to do with P2W, still its there.
  24. Well, in the biblical story David defeated Goliath because hey, he was just a better player. He knew how to counter Goliath his moves and exploited his weaknesses just by outsmarting him even tough Goliath had a much bigger weapon, armor and shield. Imagine David and Goliath in an swtor warzone and, while its still possible that David would win, because you know there are quite a few of Goliaths out there, its more imaginable that David would die if they battled in a duel ... That's how I want to represent grinding for PVP gear in swtor, if you want I can tell another story ?
