  1. Haha, this. The PVP and content news update excites me, heh.
  2. Feels more then ready to me, there's alot of good polished content to be had although endgame needs attention definately. From Dark Age of Camelot and Anarchy Online which I began playing all the way back in 2001, to EVE Online in 2003 and Planetside and Everquest II in 2004 and there's been nothing great since then, these are my TOP 5 MMORPG's over the past decade and I've loved every moment in them. I can safely say SWTOR will now be in my top 6.
  3. Really enjoying this one too, been playing almost 3 weeks and there's no trace of boredom setting in yet which usually happens with almost every MMO I've ever played over the past 10 years...
  4. I'm sorry but saying 5 years done in 2 weeks is a dumb thing to say. Someone could speedrun their way to 50, but that's only 1 character, to experiecne everything you'd have to roll quite a few more. Rushing to 50 in 2 weeks also means you have a bare bones character, it'll take more time to see and do everything there is available right now for 50's.
  5. So much doom and gloom on the forums, and yet I honestly don't see near as much as this in-game.
  6. When I clicked on the link before reading any of your text OP, I saw the glaring issue right away, the unnamed bosses. That is appalling to be honest, but oversights do happen I guess. I'm hoping Bioware will fix all these endgames issues quickly.
  7. Not everyone has the gaming hours to speedrun their way to 50, job, social and family time is always more beneficial than gaming. As for the OP, I agree with what you say. I've been grouping alot through the game, only in my mid 20's but I haven;t bumped into a player who dislikes the game at all yet.
  8. OP speaks alot of sense, I guess whenever a big AAA MMORPG comes onto the scene, it'll always cause ripples.
  9. Does that mean proper higher res textures?
  10. Sandbox games don't do well for some reason and seem to struggle with a few hundred players...Players cry out for sandbox games, and dismiss them because they're not upto par. ArcheAge seems to be a nice mix of themepark and sandbox, SWTOR simply offers the best kind of themepark though.
  11. That's another problem, with so many planets, we're all spread out thin.
  12. Travelling used to be a staple feature in MMORPG's. I don't mind it because it's how they used to be before getting dumbed down.

I've unsubscribed from many, many MMORPG's over the past 10 years, but I've never left behind a wall of text to try and persuade players otherwise. For most, they're enjoying this game, that's all that matters. To some, no MMORPG/game will satisfy you but to that I think gaming isn't your thing.
  14. Bump, does no one run a blog or upload pictures from their travels in this game?
  15. Hey, I've decided to use xfire again as I like its quick and painless screenshot upload function as I find SWTOR to be a great looking game and blog features aswell as contributing towards SWTOR's rank on their website for most hours played. I would love to know if anyone is regularly uploading their own pictures and blogs on Xfire, and if so, I'd love to add you so I can read how you are all getting on with this brilliant game. Mine is as follows. http://www.xfire.com/profile/honelith/ Cheers.
  16. Fair enough. On a different note, his cast made me chuckle. "I'm sorry Welsh fans, but you can't sound evil if you're Welsh."
  17. Check the WoW General Discussion forums, there's several discussions where experienced returning players are complaining how much easier WoW has become.
  18. 58 pages, tl;dr? Did the banned player in question do something 'naughty' and now he's trying to kick up a fuss because he's somewhat annoyed?
  19. Thanks! Ah go on then, happy new year to you and all aswell then.
  20. Roll on US servers, problem solved. Ah, yeah, I see a problem there.
  21. bfishback looking quite silly right about... NOW.
