Why? Why kick people out - seems pointless to me.

Why would it matter if you are a sub or not. Most money comes from the non-subs.

Here is an article from 2013 that claims that their monthly revenue DOUBLED when the game first went F2P. https://www.pcgamer.com/swtors-average-monthly-revenue-has-doubled-since-going-f2p/ I'll find something more recent. The game has now brought in more than $1 BILLION dollars of revenue. Here is some more: HOW MANY PEOPLE PLAY STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC? We estimate that 510,327 people play per day, with a total player base of 8,953,108. https://mmo-population.com/r/swtor

The game is making more money now than it ever has in the past - fact.

Without level scaling = lower level planets are useless once out-leveled. With level scaling = I don't feel like I got any stronger over time. Both methods suck compared to the old SWG pre-cu method. Everyone is top level from day 1 and only your skills, your gear, and weapons determine if you live or die. No levels = no leveling.

I was invited to the beta way back in 2011 I want to say and I loved the game. I played a smuggler in the beta and finished chapter 1 before the beta ended. When the game launched my friends and I bought it and started playing. I started a sith warrior and got to the beginning of chapter 3 before I experience a game breaking bug and could not continue my story. Support couldn't do anything to solve the issue so I started a bounty hunter and just let my warrior sit thinking that 1 day the bug would be fixed and I could continue him. Well a few weeks in a lot of my friends quit and went back to wow. I ended up quitting too but came back a few years later but ended up putting it back down. I decided to give it another try and it is so much different now, in a good way. I like that I can skip story arcs that I'm not interested in or seem out of character for my class and still level up quickly. I like that you can do flashpoints solo, I like that my companions can assume any role in the group and that I don't have to gear them out anymore. I like that I can sub for just 1 month and get all the expansions. I also found that my authenticator had been active this entire time and I now have over 8500 cartel coins -that's 85 months worth! So, I deleted all my characters and started over on Star Forge with a new Smuggler - if I do anything, I am finishing the 8 class stories - that's a must.

Can't believe this is even a discussion. PVE server = don't mess with anyone, period. That's what PvP servers are for. I would report it non-stop till it is dealt with or they ban me for reporting it.

How about a spoiler tag.... ??

Can someone supply me with a link to all things stronghold? Just came back after 2 years away and I'm lost. I want to know everything about strongholds, such as: How many can you have? How much do they cost? Where are they located? etc... Thanks in advance

I came back to the game after 2 years off and I had no idea of all the changes that have been made. I resubbed and now see that I missed 2 expansions. Anyway, I love the level-sync!! It made the game much better for me. I like questing, I like playing solo, and I have a long way to go to catch up. When I logged in, the first thing I did was to delete all my toons and start over on a new server (mine was dead). I noticed I was leveling really fast so I came to the forums and found this post. I had no idea that all i need to do is the class and planet quests (the ones I like) and now I can skip all the BS filler quests that I used to not enjoy very much. Can't wait to level a few toons high enough to play the new expansions.
