  1. Obvious solution: move some of their damage from the opening burst to more sustained DPS and more survivability. It's not like we haven't seen this in MMOs before...

  4. You have insane mobility instead of snares. Fair trade any day in my book. Between hydraulic overrides, your 15% movement speed boost, stuns, and grappling hook you should have NO problem staying on target.
  5. Shieldtech will feel fairly similar to AP in damage early on but AP will begin to outpace it as the skill tree is fleshed out. There is an advantage to using your ion cylinder with a shield generator until that point though. I'd say around level 25-30 or so?
  6. I beat this on the first try without a problem as a POWERTECH without concussion missile. If you're having this much trouble then you're doing something wrong. He never got a chance to heal himself up. Blow CDs and burn the Padawan then use your stuns/interrupts intelligently to easily take down the master.
  7. Unfortunately you only have one companion who consistently likes the dark side choices... I'm at max Dark V and am about to start grinding my way to Light V to make Blizz like me! Also for titles
  8. Just interrupt Bulwark Smash immediately, click the panels during his defensive shield thing, and stand under the panels during the whole fight. Takes a while but not hard once you figure these things out.

  10. Classes become exceptionally viable around level 25-30 or so. You will be able to hold your own against someone much higher, though you will probably not win. Characters of all levels are still able to contribute to the game in a significant manner. This system is an overall success. I believe it also prioritizes placing people of similar levels together, so when there is a sizable level 50 population they will not be playing with noobs.
  11. When have you ever seen a premade do this? If they do, they're idiots. Far more efficient to end games as quickly as possible.

  13. Open PVP is fair and strategic when it boils down to 1v1 half the time? Getting ganked by a random group?
  14. Early access servers with super high pops need to be LOCKED. No more character creations from new accounts until the game population is stabilised across all new servers. I have a 25 minute queue at 12 in the middle of the day.. I can only imagine it will get worse. Plus, chances are my computer will crash at some point in the evening and I will be stuck in the queue again, except this time it will be hours..
  15. I love the fire! On average I'd say I grappling hook 5-10 people into the fire/acid every huttball game. Instant kill on the ball carrier

  17. I know exactly where you are coming from with this whole "responsiveness" deal. Not sure how much I like your acronym but I too have had problems with abilities just NOT going off, ESPECIALLY my interrupt! I will literally be staring at it, obviously off cool down, and just mash the hotkey. The button itself shows the feedback of being clicked (lights up a little) but does not actually trigger the skill! Then you miss interrupting that latest force lift and find yourself in the air for 8 seconds with nothing you can do. I also definitely agree with you on making your target more obvious. Unless you're right in the middle of things, trying to pick out the ball carrier in a group in huttball, and then making sure you've actually got hte right person selected, is extremely difficult. While I like the "Resolve" solution to CC DR, it isn't very hard to abuse this system pretty hard and lock people down 100-0%. For most classes it gets better later as you get various skills(talents) to deal with this, but still. Either add a 3 second immunity to your break-free ability or diminished returns, like 50% duration on stuns.
