I will go away and I'll take my sub money with me as I'm not resubbing until it's sorted. I'm not grinding out to Legacy level 20 on a new server just because they refuse to move us.

Politicians do it all the time, promise what they can't deliver. "We'll lower taxes when in office" ..... "We're now in office and looking at the numbers, we can't lower taxes". Marketing is crap but as you got all the extra stuff in the box, you won't be getting any refund as they'll claim the price of the box was for all that stuff. You also weren't forced to purchase it. So, yeah, it's crap that they aren't supporting the CE vendor but wouldn't surprise me if there was some sort of small print that you prob never read (hardly anyone does) that gets them out of it. After all, in one of their videos they claim they are unique because they've kept all the team on from launch to carrying on working on the game. Then a month or two later, promptly fire half of them.

Probably want to ask Trading Standards if you have a case or not, if it's worth bothering with. Unless mass abouts of people go up in arms about it and then the media picks up on that, BW will do nothing.

Same here. Went on Fatman just to see and there were 200 on fleet. Annoying thing is, creating a new toon on Fatman and the pre-order reward didn't come through via e-mail now any of my pets or titles like they did when I created toons on other servers. So like you, I'm not starting new elsewhere. For BW it would mean more money as we'd have to sub longer to get to the same level character wise and legacy wise. Screw that.

It's not a problem as it doesn't mean it's going full free to play. It's a trial, nothing wrong with that. SWG did it and that never went full free to play because of it. In fact, because SWG did it, it meant I could try it out before buying. After I hit the level limit, I went out and purchased.

Wiping all characters every other week would be a bad idea. You get some people that live on the PTS. Yes, it's not meant for that, but these people are the ones that help fine bugs while levelling. Put in a BlueFrog to allow you to create a character at whatever level and then no one will bother testing levelling content.

I REALLY need to move now. I've been looking at Fatman all day. Even with the several hour time difference, they've had 200 on Fleet most of the day. Over 60 on the starter planet. Then I come to Lord Calypho. 19 currently on Fleet. It's dead, I can't play here anymore and I can't reroll on another server. Oddly if I roll on the US server, none of my rewards I get e-mailed on the other servers appear when I create a new toon. I can't play this or pay for this anymore if I can't move. What's the point of paying to be on a server that is a ghost town. My sub is cancelled and won't be renewed next month if it's not sorted. "I'm small frie, they don't care if I leave" I hear you say. But they should, a lost sub is a lost sub and others will follow. And I won't be prompting the game to others to join and so on. It make good business sense, customer service sense and PR sense to give us our transfer. If none of the EU RP-PvP servers get any transfers next week, then it's just another nail in the coffin of SWTOR and a big bad PR move. It was 500k lost subs recently and a few hundred more if the EU RP-PvP players leave.

PTS really needs to be back on 24/7 365 days instead of being turned off when the main patches go live. I don't live on the PTS and I still don't get why some make it their main. But it's more cost effective in the long run to keep it up all the time. More bugs will then be found by the community free of charge. Allowing the in house testers to move on to other bug searches. SWG did this and it helped. SWTOR need to stick to this. They did originally say people should make a community on PTS but now keep turning it off after the big patches go live. So people can't make communities when it's off. Now with the greater number of characters moved there, it makes more sense to keep it on. The fact it gets turned off after the major patches go live is the reason it ends up being pretty dead. And why the weekly patches aren't put on PTS first before live god only knows.

Agreed. And Friday nights on our server are normally bad, but I can still normally get a few warzones pop. In about 3-4 hours last night, there was only 1 warzone pop. 1 warzone pop in 4 hours is a disaster. Another reason we need transfers now.

Given up playing since this issue came up. Just can't be bothered if we're not getting a transfer. Def won't be subbing next month if this continues. So that's 500,001k lost subs now since launch.

That's got nothing to do with this thread and doesn't belong here. You've been given the choice to move from Ajunta Pal to Jung Ma. A RP-PvP to RP-PvP. We are an RP-PvP server in the EU that is getting NO options to transfer to anything. None of the RP-PvP servers in the EU are.

Because we getting NO option. You've been given an option, we're getting NOTHING.

Give us 3 choices for transfering. RP-PvP - PvP RP-PvP - RP-PvE RP-PvP - RP-PvP (multi-language) I rolled on the RP-PvP because the players are more mature. I don't RP but respec people that do and I've seen plenty of people on Lord Calypho RPing. I believe everyone on it wants to go to a more populated server. I'd like to move to a PvP server if it means higher pops. But I'm aware some of the RP's want to stay on an RP server. I assume they went on a PvP RP server for PvP but they may be willing to move to a RP-PvE server (I wouldn't). But to keep it RP-PvP then you may need to allow everyone to move to a Multi-Language server. Currently you've lost over 400-500k subs, do you really want to lose more? Because you'll lose the whole of Lord Calypho. I've already cancelled my sub and won't renew it unless this is sorted. I'm sure others feel the same. Surely you can't afford to lose more subs or have to weather more bad publicity (you've already got loads). Currently the game is favouring the US with maintenance times, but you've also now favoured the US with the transfers as they've all been given options, even their RP-PvP server. But the EU has been screwed, including the German community with their RP-PvP server. You need to give us those options or lose more subs. It's even worse that you kept this quiet until the time of transfers. So everyone in the EU on the RP-PvP servers may have re-subbed specificity waiting for the transfer. Only to be told after they pay money to re-sub, that it's not going to happen. I had re-subbed recently as I knew transfers were coming, now I've been conned out of that transfer, have cancelled and won't renew.

This year BW has gone into the history books for the worst customer server ever. Watch Lord Calypho die even more than it already is. Fing useless. From what I remember from TS, I'd need to check. The stims need to be used before you get into the warzone (someone might need to check that) and the med packs still work fine.

I bet the lower down people in the tree DO make suggestions but the execs and senior managers that ain't got a clue always say "nope" (I've seen it in a few companies I've worked at. They couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery): Dev "we really need to look at server merges or transfers" Manager "Nope" Dev "But even a transfer to the test server so we can better test the content. Even keeping test always up to find and fix more issues." Manager "Nope" Dev "But we're losing people fast. Are we not going to take action to help our paying customers?" What's the betting it will magically become possible to server transfer us when the "paid for" version comes in.
