  1. Esseles is considered the hardest Republic Flashpoint, while Black Talon is the easiest Empire FP
  2. Fights like G4B3 with the puzzle interaction and SOA with the clever use of the gamespace (in a bug-free world, this fight is amazing) give me hope that they can design really clever and fun boss encounters. Not to mention that there may be people who are playing this MMO that came from other MMO's that either didn't have raids, or that those folks never raided in. Everybody knew it was going to be easy. If they take the good parts from this raid tier and expand upon those for 1.2, I think raiding in this game will be just dandy
  3. This is true but put a threat meter in. Even just a % of what your total threat is vs the highest threat on that target, so you can tell when you're at 129% and don't pull threat off the tank. Right now it's complete voodoo when you're going to pull aggro, and if the tank misses some high threat attacks you are going to get chomped on without really knowing what's going on.
  4. Things like the G4B3 Fabricator Droid boss in Karaggas are a step in the right direction. More of those please!
  5. I assume (aka hope to flying spaghetti monster) that a Reset Active Operations fixes him not respawning. We tend to do this anyway because of all the attempts where the floor doesn't respawn properly. As for 2 lightning balls on one person, that is just completely awful. Nobody is ever gonna survive that without some sort of immunity
  6. Use 2 tanks, and make sure they're always 1 and 2 on threat. First tank gets KB, second tank eats the cannonade, first tank gets back in and taunts. Never have a cannonade on anybody else the whole fight
  7. It's moddable light armor so it starts with no stats
  8. I use Infusion during Foreman Crusher's Frenzy on 16 Nightmare mode, and the 10% and below burn on Annihilator Droid 16 Nightmare mode, making sure I have Adrenaline Probe up once I bottom out my energy bar casting straight Injection - Infusion combos. These are the only times in a week I ever use it.
  9. You can swap between hard and nightmare as you wish on a boss by boss basis, but you will need to reset your ops to switch the difficulty and thus, the trash. Killing boss 1 and 2 on nightmare, then 3 4 on hard, and 5 on nightmare is possible.
  10. You're right, except the vast majority of people will take the path of least resistance to the greater reward, which is causing their recruitment problem. He said in his post right away that he likes 16 mans better, but you can't raid by yourself
  11. Tank getting mind-trapped is an intended behavior I'm pretty sure. It's an incentive to bring 2 tanks, or just have a melee DPS taunt him and pop cooldowns in the meantime while you break the tank free
  12. The proximity droids are basically just bombs that explode if you get near, so you can leave them up and they wont hurt anyone until somebody walks into it
  13. Hard Mode SOA drops columi mainhand tokens as well
  14. The Droids that summon adds have unshakable and Boss Immunity. Can't CC them or interrupt their summons, just have to burn them down quickly. The Machinist mobs that heal that droid however, can be CC'd through normal means
  15. Guys, Rakghoul Release is a Heroic 2+ quest for republic on Taris, he's not talking about Kaon Under Siege
  16. It's not impossible, we did hardmode Droid tonight with 2 Operatives healing. It sure would have been nice to have a Sorc though
  17. You're fine, I healed an Assassin with no shield generator or defensive stats, in his normal leveling oranges and blue gear, who had just respecced tank before the Black Talon run as a fairly fresh 50. Granted it was a guild group so the teamwork was pretty solid, but you should be more than dandy to do the easier Hard Mode dungeons
  18. I am confused as to how you would even implement an instanced pvp system without a "queue", since you need a team to play against?
