  1. Honestly most of the body types are absurd except for maybe one of them. It's a stylized design it's not meant to be exactly like real life but allude to a certain type, while not having the pressures of being exact. And I disagree the female body types don't have the problem you describe, they do as well. A body type 2.5 or 1.5 would be awesome actually.
  2. Yeah have to say when I started my consular as a pure goody Jedi she was pretty boring. But now I've started selecting dubious replies and she has wayyyy more personality. I still select light side choices but I make her snarky whenever I can. She's a lot more fun that way.
  3. Yay finally a barber shop of some sorts? Excellent!
  4. I don't know if you were in the betas, but we were adamant about being able to have different last names if we so choose, and they ignored us in favor of their precious legacy. I don't understand why having different last names would change for the legacy? You can still have your toons be allies and NOT have the same last names.....
  5. It's a PODcast...... Nice! Good to have something official I can listen to in the morning on the way to school/work.
  6. That was an adorable joke guys!! Well done.
  7. Why the hell would you even bring up Warhammer? It's not even a close approximation in any shape or form. It's not because the failhammer was brought under the Bioware team from Mythic that both games have anything to do with each other. You go to WaR for the PvP (is it even good?) And you go to TOR for story driven PVE. I certainly would not recommend any hardcore PvP fan to this game unless I knew for sure they loved a good story. Otherwise it won't do. However this is a story lover's paradise. I can't even comprehend why this isn't just a given by now...
  8. Since when has 'fat' become an ideal of society.... Ideals are what the body types are and I just don't understand why being obese would ever be a good thing. Being healthy at everybody body shape, this I can get behind however and this is what we have. I don't see the male body type 4 as fat either. edit: As for ridiculous proportions, yes this is stylized. Meaning cartoon like...
  9. Nope, people hate the prequels because the directing was awful, the writing was awful, the actors were not given the proper care and time to do their jobs, the plot was awful and could have been 100 times better if a talented writer had been contracted to ponder it for a minute... The only good things about the prequels is that it's all pretty special effects, costumes and visual candy. If that's what you are going for you'll like them, if you want some sort of explanation and background on beloved childhood characters you're going to go out angry and disappointed that is really the best Lucas could come up with. REALLY? I take the prequels gingerly, a lot like myths and legends, I refuse to believe that's really what happened with these characters. The history I'll buy sure. But not who these people were and what they did in detail.
  10. What are you on exactly? You do realize that a sandbox is really easy to manage because you just give your players the tools to make their own fun? Instead they are doing everything themselves, that's the opposite of lazy. Sorry this isn't your preferred style of MMO but do not go around throwing insults for no reason, that don't even apply. This MMO is anything but cheap on top of it. MY God this thread. /bangs head in wall
  11. I don't know what the problem is I'm not in a guild and I ALWAYS find a group, the longest I've waited for a full group is maybe 30 minutes. Now I may be an old foggie but that's reasonable considering the one hour minimum FORMING a group used to take in games like FFXI and EQ. Finally get a group. Now let's make it to where we are going alive... lol...
  12. Only skimmed this thread sorry if it's mentioned already. But I'm currently reading the comic from Dark Horse, Knights of the Old Republic, in the time of the Mandalorian war. A jedi mentions that it's only a small portion of the order that believes that love and romance should be forbidden, but that this group was gaining power. So the Jedi did not always believe what it does 'now'. Jedi used to be able to pursue romantic interests freely. Maybe after the order was rebuilt by the Exile this was one of the teachings that stuck. As to why you get DS points for sleeping with an NPC, honestly that's one of those things that shouldn't have points because it's debatable. It might depend on the context. Haven't seen this myself but I'll keep an eye out if I ever get LS points.... : D
  13. Yep. The new Revan novel, read it, love it and get psyched.
  14. It's actually just the general forum really, you COULD just avoid coming here. I was doing this the last few days, came back today to see if anything's changed... It hasn't but it's no big surprise it usually takes the first four months or so for these threads to go away after a game first launches.
  15. Lies. I could barely play Aion in it's first 3 months, once I quit the game I never returned. SWTOR is like butter compared to Aion to me.
