Your reasoning defeats your argument: Premise 1: There is gear available to make your class look like pretty much anything (including by extension any of the sets in question) and this will only become easier in the future. Premise 2: This legacy gear should remain class locked so no one can copy the look of these sets on any class. Conclusion: Keep the legacy gear class locked.<--- DOES NOT FOLLOW.

These sets of legacy gear are basically useless right now. Why are the "Class" requirements still on these sets? One could argue that the looks of the gear are iconic and should only be on certain classes. Well, lets examine that argument. We have other sets of Non-Class Bound legacy gear that have specific class looks: Agent looking gear (Gree, Thorn), Bounty Hunter looking gear (Bounty Contract Event), Force User Robe looking gear (Voss Rep, Shasa Robes, Tython/Korriban Legacy Gear), Trooper looking gear (Section X and Kuat), this list is ridiculously long, so the "looks" argument doesn't hold water. I argue that simply removing the "Class Specific" requirement will make these gear sets useful again (and nice). They can leave the legacy level requirement and credit costs (makes people work up to them). Thoughts?

Are you guys still recruiting? If so, I have a few questions before I apply. I have a Lv 55 sniper that I want to do end game PVE with (and maybe some PVP). Do you do Ops on Friday and Saturday nights on a regular basis? Do you need a ranged DPS (sniper)? If so, where do I sign up? (Also, what is the application process like?) My brother is in your guild and he says you guys are a good group so I figured I'd ask. Thanks.

You do not have to finish your class quest line to do the Black Hole Daily area. I have confirmed this on my Lv 50 Commando. I've done all the Black Hole area quests and I still have my class quest telling me to go to Corellia (dinged 50 on Voss) in my quest log. From what I understand, Illum is the only Daily planet that you have to finish your class quest to access (from what I've read/heard).

I have a solution for you. Buy a piece of Columi gear that you want for your alt, say a Chest Piece. Then buy an Orange Bind to Legacy Chest Piece. Pull the mods out of the Columi piece, plug them in the Orange BtL piece, and send it to your alt. You won't get the Set Bonus but you'll have Columi gear on your alt. However, Tionese gear is SUPER easy to come by and you can buy those peices for the set bonuses and plug in your Columi mods from your Main. You're welcome.
