  1. Agreed. Another helm to add to the list that makes Ashara's head disappear: Force Sentry Headgear
  2. I have multiple 50s that I play regularly, and I have a couple that do operations. I've bought all the columni gear I need for my operations toon that I have, and want to use that currency to help get other level 50 characters the same gear. Are there any plans to make columni or tionese currency bind on legacy? This would allow some of us that want to have multiple operations ready characters to do it very easily, especially since most of us know the roles of those other characters as well, even though they tend to be back up characters (IE: My main operations toon is a IA Sniper, but I have a operations ready SI Assassin Tank that I have used in the past to tank operations when needed. My guild has a healer that has switched from an Operative to a Sorceror because they like the play style better, and has been having some trouble gearing the new healer due to availablity to run flashpoints.) I understand that with the LFG tool coming in 1.3 it will be easier to gear these characters up, but with a large number of us getting currency we can't use, it would help to maybe make it useful for legacy purposes. Even if the currency could only be used to purchase legacy orange armor pieces, it would be someone useful. Secondary suggestion: Make craftable patterns for Enhancements/Modifications/Armoring pieces available via these tokens that are operations quality, similar to the crystal patterns available via daily tokens, to allow Cybertechs and Artificers other ways to contribute to either their guilds or to add more useful items to the game economy.
  3. I've got an Armortech, Synthweaver, Armstech and Artificer all at max level, with their associated material skills, and I'm working on completing my available patterns for the different character classes I have (IE: Jedi Consular set/Jedi Sage set/Hooligan Armor Set, etc.). I've been watching the GTN on my server (Master Zar Lestin) on both sides of the server (Imp/Rep), and have seen a ton of the max level custom patterns (Level 50 Orange) but do not see a lot of the lower lever orange patterns (< Level 45). Would it be possible to add all of the patterns available to each profession to the max level missions? IE: I run an Investigation mission on my armstech, and I could, potentially, end up with any armstech pattern from level 11 to level 50 available from investigation if the mission is a critical success. I understand the need to get the lower level crafting materials to make things, but most of the lower level oranges don't necessarily require things like UW materials, or Treasure Hunting materials. The second advantage to this is it would help increase pattern availablity on the GTN, and allow people to offer a wider range of crafted pieces for people to wear.
  4. Liked: - Epidemic Aspect of it in the social areas of the fleet/planet - Containment Officer Suit armor reward (I'll likely use it for one of my companions) - The Pet - The Title - The purchasable "stuff" (Crystals/pet/companion looks) & the two levels of crystals (Level 25ish and level 50) - Containment officers getting hostile in the landing bays at the fleet and on tantoonie if you were infected and passing through - the "news alerts" on the fleet - "spawned" enemies scaling to player level (IE: The elite captain spawned from the console was level 50 for my 50s, but level 26 for someone questing on tantoonie) Disliked: - The chain aspect of the dailies (Have to complete all of the dailies prior to today to get the new one for today). - Disruption to PvP/PvE Instanced Zones (Warzones/Operations/Flashpoints). I do admit, it was funny the first couple of times seeing a ball carrier in huttball explode because of the plague, but it ended up causing a few different games I played to be won or lost because of someone not realizing or accounting for the fact that either they, or the person they were relying on to help capture the objective, had the plague. - Vaccine not persisting through death (Tied to PvP/PvE dislike). - The frequency of the annoucement of the warnings on the fleet (If I was on the fleet for 15-20 minutes either waiting for the PvP queue or waiting to explode, I'd hear the alert 2 or 3 times). Recommendations for future events: - Unlock the full chain, from start to finish, for the last 2 or 3 days of the event to allow anyone/everyone to at least experience it once without being tripped up by the requirement to finish them in sequence (if possible). - Unlock any orange gear that is obtainable through the quests to be purchased through the event vendor for the last couple of days of the event, if the full chain can't be unlocked for the last couple of days of the event. - if a vaccine like stim is made for a future event to prevent something from happening, make it persist through death, either by buying a more advanced version (IE: 5000 credits for one that persists through death, or 2000 for the "only while you are alive" version) or through some other means (Event currency can be traded towards it/Biochem recipe is purchasable and craftable) - Think about tying it to the capital worlds to allow a more diverse player group to experience it (IE: Level 10/11 and up as opposed to Level 22-25 and up). Definately one of the more fun events I've played in this game or while playing WoW. I definately look forward to discovering the next dynamic event. This event was both relevant to the latest content, and got me doing a few things I never thought I'd do, like exploring Tantoonie.
  5. Other MMOs that offer paid transfer services don't distinguish between whether or not you are moving from low pop to high pop or high pop to low pop. If BW is going to charge me to move characters, then I want to move them to whatever server I want to move them too. If BW isn't going to charge me to move characters, then I can understand some stipulations on restricting moves from low pop to high pop servers. As others have said though, I expecte BW to charge for this service unless they are trying to encourage groups to move from high pop to low pop servers, or encouraging people to join specific sides on specific servers due to a significant imbalance, or to make up for their choosing not to originally open servers for some regions when the game launched.
  6. ...and make sure no one else in your group is flagged...
  7. Saw another thread on it http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=307066. TLDR: My documents\star wars - the old republic\screenshots If you are using Win7/Vista, and run SWTOR under a different admin level account, it'll be under the admin account folder with the same file path instead.
  8. Sneaky Bioware programmers, being smarter than the average user... At least its somewhere I routinely back up Now, if we could only transfer key bindings between characters, I'd be all set...
  9. If I hit Print Screen, where do the screenshots end up? They don't appear under the "My pictures" folder in my Windows profile, and I can't seem to find them in the game directory itself. If I try and paste it into MS Paint afterwards it just gives me a black screen. Help would be appreciated.
  10. Elgin Area Here (NW Suburbs of Chicago) Just waiting for some sign of early access
