You're wasting your time. Half the people we play with were probably wearing diapers during the best MMO years. I am glad I got to at least experience 2003-2006ish before MMOs started turning into pure crap that they are today. People say LFG finders etc don't harm a game well it's funny I didn't see people wanting them years ago and the communities in games didn't all stink to high heaven like they do now. I feel like MMOs are the RPGers CoD. Quick, rude, selfish , in and out players.

at least I have Tera to look forward to with huge sandbox world and I hope seamless like Lineage 2 was. Outdoor bosses ftw, instancing is lame. Tera doesn't have instances, right? Edit: fuuuu, I just remembered I think I read Tera will have "channels" like swtor and gw does for when so many players are in one zone it makes a dupe and puts others there. Why are people so afraid of each other?? RAWWWR>!!!

Are you going to mouth off at someone 15 minutes into a group after waiting for 20 mins or are you going to be more tolerable of what happens in the group? Which option do you think leads to more friendly understanding environments? Which tosses the sense of even caring out the window? Which option lets people act like 100% complete and utter jack offs and let's the get away with it?

I agree with this so much. It seems like MMOs just don't have that flair they use to. All these people needing these conveniences for quick EVERYTHING just don't realize how much they break the community down and in the end make people bitter for it, because they don't have to respect their fellow player and often do not.

I wish for gathering clicking my character would do it instead of my stupid companion getting in my and clicking on them instead. I don't know why but 90% of the time I hate having to have a companion. I thought they would be cool but I can't pick what options I want in stories for fear of making them upset. With dark/light and companion affection I feel like my choice in dialogue is not a choice at all. I hit esc more than I do the 1 key. Oh, not to mention the fact that every pack of mobs I fight my companion plays the dummy and heads straight for a guy I am not attacking. I want focus fire dangit attack my target!

Maybe because I grew up playing MMOs where you saw everyone at all times and the zones were massive and felt awesome I am forever spoiled but I cannot stand these new games that are doing this tunnel zone crap. It is one of THE leading factors on whether the game will be good or not for me. L2, FFXI, WoW - I have played 8 years across those 3 games and they were all great. I really, REALLY loved Lineage 2 the most for some reason and I miss it the most. I wish there was a proper Lineage 3 but I think Tera = L3? Either way I am eager to see if NCSoft or whoever they are now have changed since my days with their L2 game. Edit: Would also mention that 2 of the 3 games I mentioned forced grouping for leveling giving a sense of community and actually needing one another for more than just a one quest boost and often lead to fun with just grinding. L2 was awesome for grinding then rival parties trying to kill you and then leading to a small 4-8 vs 4-8 skirmish over the spot or calling truce and moving on. That felt more real than anything I've done in a long time in a MMO. Nothing massive about tunnel planets.

The pure fact of when switching from low to medium the game forces a screen reload and then going from medium to high there is no reload should tell you that high res textures are nonfunctional.

Just because the nature of a MMO is ever changing doesn't mean they can get away with calling everything "unfinished."

No it's just that you are one of those people who are lucky they found the power button on their pc and understand next to nothing beyond the welcome to windows screen.

I deleted what you said except your name to save space but I wanted to personally let you know that I read not only all of your post but it was - 1) pleasurable to read 2) well thought out 3) made the most sense on this forum or any I have ever seen. 4) spoke for what I believe in as well I wish more would post like you but at least I can say SWTOR gave me one good read on the forums since it could not deliver anywhere else.
