  1. I think my only bothersome thing is the legacy thing. More often than not I complete a rampage on the wrong char cuz I forgot. I think the general galactic rampage should be individual for each alt. The planetary one being per legecy fine, but galactic since it covers everything shouldn’t be that way. Major points of activities is fine to lock it to only do once, cuz they give a lot, but say running a specific FO or Chapter, would be nice to be able to do with each char on the day. This ultimately helps Q of fps too, means more people running them on the daily.
  2. Yeah but the event will reveal what’s in store for the game with 6.0, not just some cantina event to dismiss guys.
  3. Starwars.com has officially posted Old Republic will have presence and stuff at Celebration just now. https://t.co/76clmSWbJu So the big news will be there then.
  4. Great news Daniel, and great that your spreading awareness of it. This is a good idea.
  5. I appreciate this reply! Unfortunately yeah I had terrible luck and not the most motivational people. Some people on them have run them before but don't know how to explain the mechanic or just don't do it sadly. So me or a friend go online for a moment and type the mechanics we see online. I was very close to finish Terror From Beyond, and that one is pretty easy to understand once you do a first try, but for others in the group it took some time to grasp some areas. We were close on the second try of doing the last boss but wiped. I know with one more try we could have gotten it easy, but the lead got mad at someone else on the group and it was so late by this point so everyone just kinda left it once people started just quitting. The other ones I tried like temple of sacrifice and Dreadmasters people just give up on it too quickly if it doesn't go well from the start and it just kinda deteriorates motivation. I always stay if the group just needs one person to add, etc. So I'm patient on that front, and I adapt well and all, but it tends to consume a lot of my playtime and then goes nowhere. I haven't had anyone complain to me on the groups I been, so there is that, I just had really back luck on the groups I get on lol. But yeah with the conquest this week been heavy on OPS, hopefully and maybe this week I can actually finish one. I'll keep you posted!
  6. So easy, that every time I try one, the group can't finish one. *shrugs*. People take time to learn the mechanics, some get pissy about this, others don't have enough time to run it full, etc.
  7. I think your making the right choice, there’s other games that have changed skins and looks of things I paid for because of community uproar but I actually paid for the version they released, so I end up later with something I don’t like anymore cuz others were loud about it. Now as others suggested, you could release a version of them with only black hair perhaps. Like call it Black Hair Customizations, so the buyer knows its only going to be that color.
  8. I think they should do an easier version for OPS, make them still mandatory to have a certain amount of players, to keep the whole group purpose of them but make them fun for everyone to chill and play more along the lines of FPs. Keep the mechanics but tone down the damage you take on them or something.
  9. I actually do find gearing with Ossus easier than gearing any of the previous tiers after 230. It's better to use scraps to buy the crystals than have to individually buy some iokath component on top of tokens and whatnot, that honestly is still confusing for me to do. Where as getting these crystals is far more straightforward. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the smuggler that sells these crystals raises his price after the first purchase and have to wait a week to get another at the 500 scraps, which slows you down if you want to boost up multiple characters. But otherwise, I like gearing on Ossus more than previous tiers and I can just skip the previous tiers and go straight for that tier, instead of going slowly through each, and get my item rating higher faster. It can get repetitive, sure, but that's part of the grind. Just maybe adding some extra missions or other things to freshen up the grind on Ossus would be good.
  10. Hey Dan! Thank you for your work and the team and for taking on the feedback and already working on it. I think communication is definitely key, just having a good idea what's coming or what's in the works throughout even if we don't have a proper roadmap, helps a lot.
  11. To experience the elitist players of this game at their peak, sigh. I still haven’t finished a single OP. Everyone just gets pissy if not everyone knows the strategy, and others pretend they know but don’t. So as interesting and fun some can be, I just don’t go for them anymore cuz im tired of people rage quitting when we are close to finishing, cuz thinking they are better than everyone else. I had better experience with PVP lol which is confusing.
  12. I was disappointed Marr was killed of too but the empire is still better overall than when it was at the start. When you start off on this game the sith and empire just want to kill each other all the time. Now they are more smart about their decisions in order to keep control. Though Im expecting Malgus will mess with that balance. Acina did good in reshaping it. The republic has had their problems too, Saresh was the lead that went from a respectable character to a person just wanting power for themselves cuz reasons. Marr stayed the same, he just saw the force from both perspectives. He was always open minded. At this point your not suppose to follow a character anyway, you become strong and a leader that could lead your own faction. So why you need some people to follow, take it all for your own sith! Become your own sith empire!
  13. It’s been quite a while of time. You can’t expect to avoid spoilers on an online game after a few months. Take for example, people that played after KOTET released. Is arcann going to be deactivated as comp cuz spoilers? Or Nathema conspiracy for example, running around with Theron and his new hair as comp. They didn’t kept secret any of the returning comps either for Ossus. Character appearances are pretty important on this game, it’s what gets people’s attention to play, return, etc. I started diving late last year for the first ime in this game, and I started playing the stories for the first time, while I also knew a little bit of what was going on at the time (Traitor story and Arcann romance). And that peaked my interest even more to continue playing to see what led the story get up to that point. It’s not about the end, it’s about the journey that drives the excitement. And there’s not much spoilers when each player has their own decisions and vision of what their protagonist will be in that story.
  14. Depends what your looking for: If you want some fun good funny time then the smuggler one is a blast If you want to feel the edge, sith warrior A mix of both, BH I personally find trooper so far boring. Im on chapter 3 of it now. Chapter 2 was the most boring chapter I ever played of all classes, except the last part that semi makes up for it.
  15. Hey farferello!! XD. And yeah that patch note made me shake, I’m trying to not think too much about it but I can’t help it. The other reddit post someone shared above doesn’t help me either. Seems like they are reading feedback on bricking Theron and Lana in the first place. I’ll be happy with at least one good Theron scene next story. Just one, all I ask.
  16. Well the fleet ultimately lost its power at the start of Kotet because Scorpio gave the bots controlling it, free will. Ultimately this led to the fleet not working 100% like it used to. Hence why Vaylin wanted to put them back into form later. And when we have them they don’t have free will anymore. Back on topic, I see the other points of Saresh before kotfe, and they are valid. Though I’m still not convinced I should switch from a side with a few bad people to a side where almost everyone is bad and/or cruel. Acina does say she is different at first, but time and time again she proves she is not. She didn’t tell us about her arrival on Iokath, she had a certain character alive on a leech all this time too and she didn’t care to tell us. I love Acina don’t get me wrong, but she is making it hard to really support these days.
  17. I see a lot of Saresh as reason, but she wasn’t doing things by the republic’s authority when she attempts to kill you. This is heavily explained multiple times in the chapter. Secondly, you get to take care of her at the end of that chapter. So personally, I don’t see that has a reason. No hate on anyone for betraying the republic, Im just curious if there’s a reason that I could apply to a character when I do. I just find that one pretty illogical. Edit: Also, Acina sure helped you a lot and I was very inclined to support her even with my super light jedi but she betrayed me in the end. Even though she swore she was different. We were an alliance and she didn’t think twice about letting us know about the weapon they were looking for. Instead, she wanted the weapon for herself so she could oveerthrow us at some point.
  18. I started playing some time in 2017, played bits of the jedi knight story but ultimately stopped cuz my computer kept crashing the game. But I was interested and impressed by the design of it. Then on march 2018 (aka last year) I finally was able to run the game on a new computer full power and went on to finish the jedi knight story, and ran all the expansion stories and got super invested by the end of it all. I cme to the game in search of atory, in the ways of mass effect, dragon age but with Star Wars and I got just that, and then some. Compared to those games, I feel this one really gives more player freedom in letting you really decide what is your character like, what side they are on, their personality, etc. It really gave me a way to create my own Star Wars characters. Im enjoying now the mmo aspect of it too but I’m really more invested in the story.
  19. Actually yes I think Gemini must have gotten the map coordinates from Theron’s implants right away, so I don’t think he would have been able to do anything else about it. Why do I say this? Because Scorpio in Kotfe transmitted to Theron coordinates and information through his implants. We see this in the chapter we take on The gemini on the ship, she blocks off theron, senya and lana, and Scorpio transmits new coordinates for him to take, through his implants. So its possible Gemini might not be looking at him directly, just tracking from the point of view of his implants. So when he puts the tracker on the ship, he doesn’t change his gaze, so gemini couldnt see from that point of view of his eyes/implant, that he was placing that transmission.
  20. That’s a fair point. Though everything happens pretty fast there and Theron wasn’t counting on you to get there in time probably. And he couldn’t betray them before you get there because Valss is a force user. Theron would have died right away. Should Theron had stopped right there when Valss jumped out? Maybe. Though we don’t know who was on that ship he left on. Heck maybe even Valss blocked him off with the force from jumping out. Also the mere rush of it all didn’t make him think that. So he continued to do what he had in mind in the first place. I think the mere problem of this story is that it doesn’t have enough time to go into details, specially the chiss part that progresses so little the story. So all that time wasted is all dumped into the prologue ship to nathema.
  21. I think its all timing really, I seen stuff go for mils, then suddenly the next day that same set or weapon is going for 200 k and I go wuut. So I tend to also hold out on things im selling. Crafting materials also constantly in flux, some days I can make 500k out of dark matter, other days a mere 100k. That’s why for armors is always good to keep checking. They will always be someone desperate to get some small mils out of it (sometimes thats me lol).
  22. I might try Anthem one day, just not at launch. Chances are I won’t stop TOR for it though. I actually stopped playing Destiny 2 after discovering TOR (yeah I know, very late lol). I only come back to Destiny 2 when a new story content drops, play it like 2 days and then im done. The only thing that can truly pull me is a new mass effect or dragon age for a while.
  23. It’s already annoying to roll a new char and as soon as you walk out of Korriban temple get a bunch of invites. Specially declining the same person like 5 times. Now imagine getting that pop up when your in one all the time. If the player is interested in changing they will ask around or pay attention to the chat ad of a guild. Like I left one guild because it ultimately died out but I waited to see which guilds were promoting and what they were offering. Not quit and suddenly get fished over.
  24. Because humans have so much variety in their customization. I always want to do alien but I always struggle when making them, its harder to find a unique look that I like. Like every time I try doing a twilek for example, I feel it reminds me to one npc. So my mains on all classes are mostly human, one cyborg and one chiss. The chiss at least does have some decent options enough. The other thing is humans you can do any class of, where as other aliens you need to pay the unlock to use that alien in that specific class. In the case of cathar and togruta, they can be bought with cartel so you will definitely see less of those. Though you might see more now since they went on sale not so long ago and I made a BH cathar thanks to that. But I am still trying to at least make some alien alts now, but the other issue is the voice, sometimes the voice just doesn't fit so well with the species.
