  1. I got it fixed! Replaying Chapter 9 of KOTFE fixed it for me, I was able to get my romance alert with Theron as soon as it finished. I think possibly I got it bugged because I had a chapter replay active before the update and maybe that was causing problems, because my other characters didn't have one chapter replay active and had no issue getting the alert normally for Koth, Lana and Arcann.
  2. My Romanced Theron Char is also missing the Date Night Option in companion/alliance alerts, My other characters that romanced Arcann, Koth, and Lana do show up just fine on the companion window to start the date night, but my Theron one is missing and no other way to trigger it. I am fully romanced with Theron, even done the proposal and up to date in story content on that character. Very sad about it since he is my main romance, hope it can be fixed.
  3. I also just tried Kessan's story on my imperial sith warrior saboteur, kept talking to the agents and never a saboteur option popped up unfortunately. My options were attack or let them walk away, no saboteur in any dialogue option popped up.
  4. I love this game very much and the team, and want to see it keep going for a long time, therefore I think feedback is always important and want to give some thoughts. Personally, I am disappointed by this decision of no collections sale, I been looking forward to unlock a bunch of stuff in my collections even if it means buying more cartel coins more than I saved up, it makes me more likely to also buy more sets to unlock their sales during this time. I also motivate friends to get ready for this collections sale, it was long expected across the community of forums, discords, and other socials to expect one. I think this also wasn't helped that the change wasn't announced sooner, so this news feels sudden on us to process as hype kept building on it. Secondly, putting personal feeling aside, I feel collection sales helps more with sales on the game, because those with a lot of credits in the game just buy their weapons and armors with credits by GTN or Trade, but the collection unlock is what ultimately make them spend on cartel coins as well. The other thing is, collection sales can be done in a very limited way if need to be, like we have gotten in the past. Or even just making it active for one week is a short window. If someone misses out the window then they realize they can't wait on another one for a while and will give in paying normal price. Sort of like the flash sales currently that are per day and I think are handled well in that sense. Anyway that's just my two cents, ultimately I want you all to succeed and I feel this decision misses the mark in getting great revenue for the game during the holidays.
  5. I agree with not being a fan of the black bars interface, I think I rather just have the cut scene play out as normal and keep my character silent rather than see the bars personally on these scenes. It just automatically makes me feel the moment is less important but in this case it is important. I don't mind it in the voss bit of 7.3 because it established the difference form planetary arc to main quest but here in the main story was odd. Still that was my only gripe, I did really enjoy the story as it is, loved the class specific moments, both on finding old chars but also the unique animations for each class on cutscenes on how they handle situations. I also agree with OP we definitely see the development of Arn, he was more calm and in charge of the situation which was great to see. I did enjoy the way they introduced Sahar here as well. The cutscenes were also well done, great lighting, great photo moments, etc. Already done all dailies, heroics and and world boss and those are pretty good as well. Of course I wish the story itself was longer, but they do what they can and I'm just glad we are still getting voiced story content with great cutscenes.
  6. The new cartel market items will be added in rotation each week, this includes the sets and the dyes as stated in the blog "We will be rolling out the new items on a weekly basis" https://www.swtor.com/info/news/article/20231204 So expect the set to drop sometime during this month but it can still drop from cartel packs in the meantime.
  7. Hello there, nice job! No there wasn’t a video on 2022, this is a new thing they did this year where they also posted this video on the last livestream for 7.4 update! There has been 3 rounds of it so far. The first event was on 2021 here are the winners: https://www.swtor.com/info/news/article/20211123 ————— Anyways, congrats to all the winners, honored to have won this year with my Belsavis picture, I didn’t make it last year (didn’t participate on first one either) but made it on this one so everyone don’t give up if there’s another, keep trying! Already seeing some great pics here too, and I agree with Whykara, there’s some great views I didn’t even think of when looking at the pictures, is nice to see the variety.
  8. Daily Missions Did the completion time for daily missions meet your expectations? Some of the dailies are far longer than others as they make you traverse the entire map for them; however, they were in areas other dailies were located so in the end I didn't mind it, it felt good being able to do multiple dailies as I went along. It ultimately balanced out once I figured each one. Were any missions frustrating or confusing? Which ones and why? The Heroic 2 enemies were quite frustrating, I understand they have to be harder, but those beasts just push you around a lot and at one point I ended up stuck in a computer because they pushed me in there in that corner. Their difficulty is right for a heroic otherwise, is just that pushing mechanic was problematic for the small rooms they spawn in. But otherwise, was still able to complete it. Did you have difficulty completing any of the daily mission objectives? Yes, I had difficulty with Grateful Grazers, I took down a lot of separatist poachers that did not drop the keycard I needed, it took me over 10 minutes to do this step. The problem with it is that on top of it being rng if they do drop the keycard, there's a small number of poachers, and if there are other players doing the mission, that means even less poachers for you take down to get the key, and their respawn time took some time. So, I feel some adjustments need to be made there because it could become a big pain when the area is super active. It reminded me to the coruscant heroic where you also need a key to drop but usually have to wait for the enemies to spawn because others cleared the area. But it can be more troublesome here because many will be on this new area for a while. Were there any daily missions you particularly enjoyed? Which ones and why? I enjoyed them all overall except the one above due to how much it took for an otherwise short mission. I like the creature you do get from that mission however, that was a cute element, although it stayed following me after I finished the mission, and well it got distracting when doing other missions haha. Overall, what are your impressions of the Kessan's Landing daily missions? I liked how things overall were located, like the heroics taking place in the same spot and the heroic 4 not being far either so is easy to create a group and all move around the same area. Same thing for the dailies, I like how the overall map design is open enough for you to explore relax if you wish to but when you do get inside the actual objectives is where the action starts, instead of having every corner crawling with something. If you completed the Heroic 4 boss mission, did you find this mission appropriately challenging? I did not, but I tried it and it looked quite interesting to try out with a group. I know players want to play more mechanics bosses and I think this fits the bill pretty well. Did you notice any bugs or missions that you could not complete? Aside from one taking a long time, it was thankfully not bugged overall, and I managed to complete every daily and heroic 2+ just fine, so its overall working all good, just some balance to take care of, if possible, with Grateful Grazers. Didn't get a chance yet to try Geothermal Shielding Missions,
  9. Unfortunately I had issue with it too when I tried it with a friend. Republic side, Satele Shan server, I was a jedi knight, they were a commando, both level 80, and we had two comps. We did Veteran Landing Party, the missions completed successfully but we received no credit on the galactic season weekly for it.
  10. Honestly because a lot of players were making a lot of money using tech fragments to buy crafting materials and sold them for a lot on GTN. Now I do think the value of them has dropped severely but there wasn't much incentive to use tech frags other than that once you filled out. Now there's incentive to use them outside of just filling out your pockets more. I would prefer it would all cost credits don't get me wrong, but I can see why this is a way to tackle credit issue.
  11. Done them all with all classes, there's a couple of chapters that make sense for specific classes. Like a chapter with Aric Jorgan makes sense to have the trooper there, the mandalorian darvannis chapter, and more recently Ruhnuk. Agent has even more with his comps being plot active too. The only one that's a bit difficult is the smuggler, but the game does provide unique dialogue for the smuggler where you can actively question and make fun of the fact you are involved in this story, so is pretty self-aware. It also works if you romance a char of those arcs. So, for example my smuggler doesn't get much out of kotfe/kotet but because I made him romance Lana, then that makes for the unique experience I'll have, is why I never repeat romances. The only story I skip is Makeb, hutt cartel because is very irrelevant to the game story and no decisions move over to future expansions. But I mainly play story because I like defining my chars and helps shape them up their personality a bit with some of the major decisions there.
  12. Hi Keith, I think the issue wasn't your message, but more what the IGN article stated. Since they talked about numbers of devs that would be moved, and some laid offs, so that bit on that press article is what mainly caused concern I feel in terms of what the game will look like moving forward. Granted, I know you wouldn't be able to talk about that, but just wanted to clarify where that sentiment may come from. It really doesn't help this news was dropped out of nowhere as a scoop rather than an official statement, so sorry to everyone on the team that didn't get to handle this in a way that was planned out in advance and instead you have to figure out what to do with this. I'm hoping for the best though, will always love this game and its unique storytelling, so cheers!
  13. Depends on the Uprising, I solo the Firefrost one for the galactic season story mode and did well, as long as you use a character with self heals, plus the uprising had a couple of kolto stations around. Granted, the bosses are spongier to take down but it seemed all right otherwise. Probably can't do them with every class though, just those that can sustain extra heals on top of the comp ones.
  14. I think GSF should still be added to pvp track, even if it's just one single challenge option from the weeklies. Personally speaking, my progress on PVP almost every week has been 3/4 weeklies done because engaging Arenas takes a long time, on top of that the skill floor for that mode is much higher so earning medals or winning is heavily relying on having a good team coordination/chemistry and well geared up. You only really manage to get that many medals for the objective if you win as well, so they are almost the same objective in a way. So I think adding GSF as an extra option of complete matches or win matches (or combine them where play matches but wins gets you more progress) would add a nice extra option for those that aren't ready to engage with arena. Not to mention 16 arenas matches is a lot when Q times take a while and you don't have all multiple days in a week to keep playing (exception being when arenas is Galactic season weekly that Qs are okay). I do agree there is definitely issues with medals on GSF and should be avoided working those in there, I don't even engage myself with that objective in galactic season, but again I still think it would be healthy for GSF to get this objective in pvp so that more people engage with it beyond just galactic season points.
  15. Which missions did you play? I believe I played all of them, I went back to the mission board to pick up the ones that follow the first ones, like the water one had a follow up one and such. Were there any missions you were unable to complete? Nop! At least all missions that were available for me were completable with no issues, everything spawned correctly and triggered properly. Were any missions frustrating or difficult to progress? Which ones and why? I think they were all pretty just right in difficulty, it also helps you can tackle multiple of them at the same time. The only nitpick would be that there is a lot of enemies in some areas you would trigger often but that's just part of it not really an issue. Which was your favorite mission? Your least favorite? Why? Working at the bar! I love the amount of details that went into that mission, from cleaning up, washing your hands before starting the shift, to doing the cooking, a nice little throwback to Prosperity event, but also having its own unique little side stuff like getting to enjoy some food yourself and sweep the floor later. Did you complete any achievements? Which ones? Aside from the normal ones from defeating enemies and clearing missions, I found the one with a very tiny mawvorr, that one was cute, and the one with contemplation in front of the flashpoint entrance. I enjoyed triggering those naturally from playing rather than directly looking for them. Did you have a favorite achievement? I think the very tiny mawvorr one so far, as Iwas just jumping around exploring and then got it to pop and turned around and see it and was a nice detail I would have missed! Have you run into any bugs? If so, please offer step by step details so we may be able to reproduce your experience. Nothing in terms of gameplay bugs, just visual bugs. for example, the Voss mercenary helmet does not dye, everything else on the set does but that helmet. Same goes for the Voss Powertech helmet, at least on the previews. I did not grab them so can't test if it's just a preview issue. The other visual bug is the rocks issue that was also on the main game until last update, where there are rocks missing texture, so they glow green intensely and have some text on them if you look closely. They were found on Voss and on the flashpoint as well, I didn't mind them much though because aesthetically they don't look wrong on the location but figured to point it out. Another strange one is when previewing the armor sets, sometimes the preview would suddenly remove every armor piece I'm previewing, like it would do a sudden reset, had this happen on the flashpoint armor vendor on this location, didn't experience it when previewing collections tab. Is there any other general feedback you would like to share? It's a great new location with neat little missions to do, overall had a great time running them all and exploring! Also excited and happy to say everything worked great without game issue! My only confusion with it is if it's meant to be a grindable area, as some missions didn't give rewards beyond just xp and credits, while others did properly give tech fragments and conquest commendations.
  16. How did you feel about the difficulty and mechanics of the flashpoint bosses, either in general or in specific? What did you enjoy? What did you dislike? Mechanics are good, it wasn't difficult for story mode as it should be but still experienced the mechanics of Vorantikus pushing around and the curse one having the spiritual effects on you, they were nice. How did you feel about the runtime of the story mode experience? Just right! I was not stealth but I felt the pace and length was good, I could have also made it longer if I did bonus stuff but I played it more like if it was just the story version. It was fun to explore around and had really great long-distance views, seeing the final area early on from a distance was really cool kudos on visuals! Have you run into any bugs? If so, please offer step by step details so we may be able to reproduce your experience. Only two things but not game breaking: 1. When pushing enemies off, they don't die, even though they fell down into nothingness, they still remained alive down there, my comps did finish them, but I figured that's not intended. Every attempt I tried to get one to die that way, didn't work but for reference on some specific ones I tried were: Cursed Commander Elite enemy and Corrupted Voss Mythic Elite. 2. As mentioned above, the glowing screen effect remained after the fp ended, but I exited the area and disappeared. Not a major issue really but just in case. Is there any other general feedback you would like to share? Overall, I quite like the design of it, and I think this one could become one of my more favorite flashpoints from the more recent ones, layout is great, visuals are good, boss encounters are nice, overall, a great improvement from spirit of vengeance issues and Elom one.
  17. In terms of maps and medals, I notice mostly issue on the capture ones like hypergate and the turret ones. The fact that you have to stay on the point defending to get a medal has made it so that many players are on the defending point trying to make sure they grab that medal, instead of being rewarded for being active trying to capture points with the team. I think is good to reward a player for defending, the problem is that with the medals gain being lower now, players feel like they have to sit on a defense to reach the number of medals needed to progress that challenge. Instead of feeling both attacking and defending being as equally rewarding.
  18. On the imp side at least on Manaan 7.1 atory arc, they are specified as “saboteur” option on the dialogues, and they were at least 2 significant ones regarding two characters. Don’t have a republic saboteur character however, but I imagine is similar, athough the story arc is different a fair bit. Digging Deeper arc however didn’t have one.
  19. I ran it today with no issues I also noticed some differences in the fight, the animation that malgus does that causes for instant death changed, and he kinda just teleports, I also felt the floor was a bit more angled? But months ago I had the issue with two pubs back to back, tried on a new pub today and it worked all good, so here's hoping it works for everyone. My imperials oddly never had the issue.
  20. He also has unique dialogue if you romance him on a certain scene, it was on the livestream so not a big spoiler but just in case:
  21. Level 19 at the moment. I am actually enjoying the progression so far. Since I already do conquest on multiple characters, is a nice extra to have this to earn. I missed out on the first season beyond the first tiers because the rewards just didn't really got my attention, but this one feels pretty good what you get and I like the companion and reputation earning having a story to it. Makes the whole thing more engaging then just grind, kinda it's own mini event.
  22. So I had this bug on my jedi knight sentinel, but not on my sith warrior juggernaut today. Here's what I did different: - In my Jedi Knight, I had picked up a few of the bonus obelisks but I didn't complete the bonus objective. Today I noticed that picking those up, they add some kind of debuffs on your character if you leave them up, so I'm wondering if they are tied to the bug. So when I confronted Malgus with this jedi, I still had the debuff because I didn't finish the bonus. - In my Sith warrior, I got all the obelisks and completed the bonus objective so the debuffs were gone and when I did the final fight, it went smooth. Not sure if this will work for everyone, or just a coincidence, but I figured to drop it here as an alternative and only way I noticed a difference.
  23. There is saboteur options, just did imperial saboteur, they happen at the end of the manaan story, couple of bits there.
  24. Technically was teased in a montage of all the other trailers they did recently for the anniversary, where it showed a new scene at the end on it, that's when the rumors started to pop and it has become true. Very excited for this! Curious what story beat will it cover and which characters get the honor to be on the CGI.
  25. I know this is for veteran mode, but I also wanted to let know my concern that the story version of the second boss needs to be looked at. The way is designed is that it tends to spawn more and more enemies within a short time window, but at times this window can get pretty inconsistent when trying to complete the main objective, so on top of all the traps and attacks the boss is doing, you have spawning non stop of ads that just don't give you enough breathing room. The design of this is great and definitely fun for a group flashpoint, but it looks like so far the story version is still treating players like it is a group situation. The mechanics itself are fun though, is just the endless ads that ruin it, because there's no consistency to the spawns for a solo player, not sure if maybe there is something bugged with the spawns but wanted to at least pass it on my feedback with it. Everything else with the FP seems fine so far, was just that bit that led to many failed attempts.
