To be honest. Warhammer T4 pvp was some of the most enjoyable PVP ive played. Massive, memorable battles are what Open world PVP is all about. But for it to bleed over correctly into TOR, there needs to be some Incentive to actually "win" the zone. Perhaps some kind of WZ/Merc comm's increase buff when in posession of Ilum? Could put the same lock timers into Ilum as with the zone locks in WH. This wouldnt help the imblance issues one single bit I know, but please try to understand that NOTHING with regards to Ilum will change the faction imblance.

Then take the Enforcer if they are better statted for you and you don't care about the set bonus. Keep in mind though that the Enforcer 2 part is terrible for Sniper, the tech is mildly better (though not much) and you cant mix parts for set bonus. (1 part of each piece wont earn you the 2 part [different bonuses])

MM really isn't much of a PvP tree though. So that makes some sense. Try Lethality, or even engi. MM is probably the worst of the 3 tree's for the current PvP opportunities available.

False. Debilitate requires you to crouch too. They already acknowledged this bug. Normalization incoming.

Try equipping some gear then. Lethality damage is far superior to MM in pvp. Stop single targeting with your acid grenades. It's misinformed posts like this that cause everyone to think Snipers are terrible in PvP. We really aren't, we just have to play smarter than Sorcs and DfA spamming BH's. Just stick to it and you will find that, when played right, we can really change the tide of a battle.

Dont use Take Cover to simply get into cover, use crouch. The elaborate animation will always delay your next action (sometimes even interrupt it) The only time you want to use Take Cover in pvp is to get out of an area quick, like avoiding incoming AoE.

Not entirely sure how someone (OP) can complain about the release of SWTOR, blame it on the engine (Hero Engine) and state that Warhammer release was fine (it really really wasn't) all in the same post. It's the same engine!

The problem I have with Sniper pvp (and im mostly referring to Huttball here, since its always Huttball) is that there just isnt much reward for the role we're best suited to. Like someone said previously; we are very effective at closing down a zone to the opposing team, be it with harrying anyone approaching with big ambush shots, AOE CC with FBs giving your team time to redeploy or even dummy-casting Orbital Strike (which people seem terrified of even though the damage is meh at best) to literally alter the enemy's path of approach. Sadly there is little to no reward unless you are capping or killing. Its a shame because 1 or 2 snipers playing lock down can really change the course of a game.

Did anyone even confirm they were going to do it? Im not sure what "progress" you're hoping to see.

Every time my class quest sends me back to Dromund Kaas, I die inside a little bit more. It's early days though. At the moment we just have a ton of keyboard heroes all fighting for alpha male. Natural order will kick in soon enough and it will improve. It will certainly never be gone entirely though, as is the way with faceless gatherings of random strangers.

All I hear is "I didn't get something I didn't even know about but now I know about it I feel I am entitled to it!" Your logic is baffling.
