Really dumb question time, but how do you engage the world boss? I am on Taris, and then noticed people talking about a world boss. Looked it up, sure enough such a thing exists, but I never saw a mission for it on Coruscant, and I'm pretty meticulous about picking up missions. Is it an area thing, just go to the right place, or did I miss it? Most of the rest of the big things have been given as missions (Warzones, Flashpoints, etc). signed, total MMO noob

Just discovered this one: Open the crew members screen, and you can send crew members you don't have with you out on crafting and skill missions. Should be obvious I guess, but wasn't to me. I'm now leveling up with the best of 'em.

This thread is awesome. Some good info here I did not know. A very basic one, but when reading maps, the lighter blue areas are higher than the darker blue areas. Useful if just trying to nav by map. You can nav by map by running with the map screen open. It fades out slightly when you run so you can avoid in game obstacles. I find this to be the fastest way to navigate new areas where I don't know where I'm going.

Yeah, it's been awhile since I played WoW, so I guess I don't remember very well. Repair is no big deal at all, particularly because it is pretty cheap! At least at the levels I'm at. We'll see if it gets worse later. Thanks for the info!

If what you're doing works for you, that's great, and yeah, that name search is good tip, so thanks for that. I have yet to find live threads, so for me, it's same as no function. That's just my experience.

If space exploration is added, that sounds awesome, but I love the on rails experience also. I say keep both. I have yet to play a free form space shooter where it didn't devolve into circle strafe battles. On rails keeps it fun and entertaining. If there were other types as well, I'm cool with that too.

Oh, and great guide! Thanks! I am curious, where can you find the companion primary stats? It isn't listed on the companion pages on the holonet. Would be a great add.

Am I just slow or is Alacrity Rating not on the Character sheet?

Sure, I get that, but then search on google really isn't an option. If I try 10 searches and each one gets "thread not found" then google search isn't viable. I'd do better combing the forums. I also can't look at posts I have made through my profile, so I have to come back each time to search for it. Is that just me, or are others seeing that too? Since I can post, I assume I'm not banned or anything. Doubt anything I've said would get me in trouble.

Last time I played an MMO was awhile ago. I think when I played WoW there were gold penalties, which I suppose equip repair is. Though really, if you aren't always swimming in gold, you are doing it wrong. Right now I have more gold than I can spend it on due to level caps.

So, I've seen "death penalties" mentioned a few times, but as far as I can tell, the only penalties are in time, either in having to retrace your path, or in having to wait to be revived. Are there other penalties I'm missing? If so, they are pretty subtle.

I'm noticing that I can keep replaying the space missions I received upon getting my ship. Is this normal? In fact, I did all three of them, THEN got the missions from my terminal. I re-did one of them, and noted I got XP, though only about 1/5 of what I got the first time. Is this normal? The mission I did the second time is still there. Part of why I ask is that it appears there are targets that I can't take out yet (like space frigates, or the space station at the bottom of it) that I expect I could take it once I put some weps upgrades on my ship. Is this true also?
