  1. I'm playing the tank in MMO's since Everquest back in '99.... If I get an invite to a group I don't care who has lead, most of the time I'm the one calling the shots anyway as most group rely on the tank doing exactly that. Only time I tend to sit back is when it's my first visit to the instance, but even then only if someone else has some experience with that instance. In an all first visit group I tend to take lead again... ... so no, inviting does not make you the leader ...
  2. Formin the group has nothing to do with leading the the group. you're just lazy.
  3. That's the reason so many people are crying about "we need a groupfinder tool". Everyone is only looking for a group, but no one can be assed to just invite all the other people looking for the same instance. Too often I've seen 3,4 people LFG for the same instance for 15-20 minutes while they could be already in a flashpoint if only one of them had the brains to invite the others.
  4. I use it in my opening on 3+ mobs. slow time, force breach, whirling strike
  5. It's only one flashpoint, tzhere's no need to run it if you don't like it. Personally I like Colicoid Wargames as it offers a interesting change of pace. The turrets controls need a bit of tuning, but the I really liked the puzzle sequence.
  6. Sure, more content is nice, but I want more quality content like it's already in the game, WITH VO. The voiced over content is one of the things that set this game apart from the mass of MMOs out there and I hope it stays that way! If I wanted walls of text and cheap content I could play any other MMO out there.
  7. I'm enjoying every minute of this game. The only thing bothering me is the high number of "alien" speaking NPC, I'd rather have normal VO. I never felt the need to skip the VO so far. So no, it's totally worth the effort... If you don't want VO, Pandaria is that way ->
  8. Speeders are fine as is. I didn't really pay the 235k for riding2 and the new speeder for the 10% more speed, but to be able to use a real speederbike, not some kind of segway, which all the riding 1 speeders look like...
  9. Now one might add that AoE means Area of Effect, or as a explantions something that affects every Enemy in a certain circle around the user...
  10. Drop crafting materials, orange armor schematics and mod schematics from raid bosses, that way crafted gear becomes a important part of the game. That way the "best" stats will still come from raiding, but it's not just "purple" drops.
  11. If you don't like the game to be immersive, and don't want to spend so much time running, maybe this game is more to your liking... http://progressquest.com/
  12. You need to make a guild now in Game at the guild registrar
  13. Pacman was released almost bugfree in 1980, why does any new game has more bugs than pacman? Every new software will release with bugs, the bigger the project the more bugs will be in there at any given time...
  14. No, WE don't need them.... only YOU think you need them
  15. They show up under Diplomacy, still a bug from beta...
  16. You can customize your looks by using orange items. You can upgrade them with mods to grow with your level...
  17. don't like it? Nobody forces you to play...
  18. Thats because according to EU canon Mos Eisley was only constructed 100 BBY, that >3000 years in the future form a ToR viewpoint http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Mos_Eisley
  19. This seems to be a display bug, all "orange" items with the same mods give the same stats when worn regardless of level... just as they are advertised they do...
  20. I was a it surprised myself after "The Esseles" and "Black Talon" to see Hammer Station, Athiss and Mandalorian flashpoints. But if there are more story flashpoints later on, I'm okay with it. When we reach 50 we all have the option to choose between different heroic flashpoints with conversation or without, so everyone will get something he likes...
  21. Why should purple raid gear take precedence over orange gear? You need 1 purple drop per slot with normal raid gear and in case of for example a lightsaber 4 purple mod drops to get the same gear. "Normal" raid drops are easier to get than a compareable orange, so there's no need for them to have better stats...
  22. It's feasible to add the same set boni to orange item sets or add those boni to the mods which are exclusive to orange items, like hilt and barrel. And adding more orange items is also relatively easy...
  23. Right now we have two options: The easy way: collect purples with nice stats but a look you might not want The harder way: collect oranges from crafters, commendation and quests, collect purple mods for nice stats, look like you want to look a appeareance tab would destroy the second option...
