  1. Sadly there is no good looking green crystal yet, nor colors like silver or bronze. We have a ton of ugly as sin black core crystals though. Nab your ugly pink-purple while you still can!
  2. We are never going to get any non-humanoid races. Clipping issues still happen with characters, they aren't capable of making one correctly. The insulting part is, we get told that the reason for no non-humanoid races is because we can't relate to them. A failure to program correctly doesn't mean we can't relate to our characters. I don't see why I can relate to a Twi'lek with lekku, Sith with face tendrils, blue Chiss with glowing red eyes, etc...but a Rodian or an Ithorian is too much. Oh no, the Sullustan doesn't speak Basic! How could I relate to reading the subtitles like the many instances when you talk to non-Basic speaking races and have to read subtitles?!?
  3. They are never going to add the majority of the races people want, no matter how many of these threads pop up.
  4. So if some people do wrong, everyone should get screwed over? I have 19 characters on my server after the merges. I had 8 on Sword of Ajunta Pall, split between both factions. I decided to make some others on another server and put time into them, but the server became a ghost town because Bioware opened up way too many at launch (when I made the characters the server said standard). Due to the fact that I just completed my third consecutive planet with me being the only player on said planet, I made some guys where it seemed like everyone was making characters: The Fatman. Now fast forward to server merges, Bioware wants to transfer both my other servers. one to The Fatman which would put me over the limit. The original server went to another server. Okay, no big deal. I'll transfer them to an active server and instead of not being able to go over The Fatman's limit I'll keep my guys on the dead server as I didn't want to lose the progress I made. Well then forced server transfers happened, the dead server was shoved into the Prophecy of the Five, as well as The Fatman, and my original server that I had transferred. They merged three servers into one after the voluntary transfers. I had no choice there. I get told by Bioware that there is no need to worry, for people like me, the limit is raised so we don't have anyone deleted. Now we are going to be charged for ineptitude on the part of Bioware, but you think it is okay because a few people made it so they got some extra slots?
  5. I have been on the fence for some time now, but this has made me decide not to re-sub when my time runs out. Punishing players for their own ineptitude is insane.
  6. I've been leaning towards unsubscribing, locking characters for subscribers isn't helping change my mind.
  7. Wait...so due to Bioware's incompetency I will have some of my characters locked? They made it so I have more than twelve characters on one server, I didn't put all those players there myself. Now despite being a subscriber, I'm being told that I'll need to pay for ineptitude on their behalf? I'll be punished (again) for them opening way too many servers after launch. Let me guess, when you lock me out of my characters due to being over a limit that you forced on me, I'll have to rename them a third time as well if I can transfer them?
  8. Crap, I was already not happy with worthless pets as I also got two Slate Mouse Horranths and I didn't have nearly that amount of cartel coins. So there are even more pointless pets and a terrible title to boot. I already had a tauntaun for not cancelling my subscription, both raklings (pale/crimson), one of the pets from the Chevin quests from a crate, etc... How about a silver crystal? Instead of the ugly black core crystals or the ugly orange-yellow. There are so many color options out there and instead we keep getting these ugly mash-ups. How can you screw up lightsabers?
  9. I've never played SWG, so saying there is no demand outside of that crowd is ridiculous.
  10. Exactly. The lack of iconic races outside of Twi'lek and Purebloods sucks. The players being told that we couldn't relate to other races was even worse. What makes a blue skinned, red eyed Chiss easier to relate to than a Rodian? Both are humanoid.
  11. Wow, it is as if you were in the room for the decisions. I can't imagine that conversation happened any differently. *Edit: People need to stop bringing up the crappy self heal that gets wiped out in one hit in pvp, and does not make up for ruining overload in pve.
  12. The change to Force Wave/Overload was a BS change in which they lied to us and said that we were hitting unintended targets with the 360 ability. You know, because when we have enemies all around us, we only really wanted to hit people in a stupid cone in front of us. If we were in a pvp match and hit an enemy we didn't initially see, disrupting his efforts against our team, that was bad and we needed to ruin that ability.
  13. Why are the Republic gear sets never cool looking? Still haven't seen a set of green robes for a knight either.
  14. Have to throw in my two cents and say that changing Overload to a cone is a terrible decision for both pvp and pve. I don't care that the range was extended when I'm being hit from the sides and behind while pvping, nor do I care about the range being extended when I'm being hit from the sides and behind while questing. Unintended targets? Any enemy attacking me or my team that I can knock away is my intended target. I played in two of the testing rounds, and since the first day of early access. Not once on this forum (or any other) or in-game have I ever heard anyone complain about hitting an unintended target with Overload. The change is nonsensical.
  15. I don't know where the quote is, but Lucas said that Wookies are not too intelligent and related them to being like smart animals. Despite the fact that the most famous example is co-pilot of the Falcon and he often makes repairs to the ship (you know how smart animals can fix ships that travel through space). So we don't get Lowbacca in stories because of this. Bioware's line about not relating because they don't speak Basic and look like an alien has always been a load of crap. So I relate to a Twi'lek with lekku because it speaks Basic, but I couldn't relate to an Ithorian? Hell, plenty of viable races that should have been in from the start have been left out based on this excuse, even when they speak Basic. Togruta, Rodians, Kel Dor, Mon Calamari, and many more can speak Basic fine but weren't included. Instead of feeling like Star Wars, we get a bunch of human palette swaps and some Twi'leks.
