I beg to differ, when I installed Star Trek and Conan both asked me for a CC for my subscription after entering my 30 day free card that came with each game. So I have no idea wth you are talking about because that is how it works Also nobody is going to get charged anything, this is kind of like gas it checks the card to make sure its valid and that is all it does. Seriously guys its not like this is a new form of business, its a fail safe in case you don't get a time card in 30 days. Nobody is going to be paying any money during the 1st 30 days they had free, if you add a time card before the next month its not like you are going to get charged on your CC as wel

It was the writing, I mean look Natalie Portman won an Academy Award but the cast was given lines like "she died of a broken heart" They also made Anakin extremely annoying and petty, I mean whining does not even begin to explain his dialogue. The actor is fine, the material was horrendous. Clone Wars the animated mini-series and the CGI CW Series both portray Anakin much better than the prequels did.

No they are are saying you need to put down a CC to continue,you get the free time but you still need to put down a CC to start your subscription that begins after the 30 days Its standard for virtually every subscription model on earth (see Netflix, Hulu, WoW, etc)

Update video card drivers, add more system ram, that might help Would highly recommend you move to Windows 7 x64 and add more system ram

Use the actual video card drivers from the manuf and not Apple, also turn shadows off Also lower the resolution, there are many ways to get the old macs to run this game and you either have a driver issue, lack upgraded system ram (so Windows is hogging it all) or just did not tweak it The amount of Mac users who keep trying to run it with Shadows on are just hurting themselves, they add next to nothing and destroy the framerate It should run on virtually any Mac with bootcamp and W7 x64bit from the last 2 1/2 years My brother is running it on Medium with his Mac Mini 2010 with only stock 2gb system RAM, and I am running it on High with my Mac Mini 2011 I also got the game to run on low with my ****** Macbook (reg not pro) from 2008, fps was not the best but seriously going back almost 4 years was something I figured was not compatible

Of course me and my brother are on Harbinger (it was empty when we started playing lol) Might opt for a transfer if/when that becomes a possibility. Don't belong to a guild and don't mind moving +1 for Bioware responding to the issue on the launch day, they could have continued to remain silent

That happened to my brother for a entire day (Day 2 of EGA), he would log out to fix it. Next day and since the eternal running and getting stuck has not happened again.

I figured they will get to it in time, I stopped using the drop down things and now just do only what is required (like Armor, Heavy) and look at the whole list Got some pretty nice gear from it, just a shame the actual search part does not function very well right now

Age of Conan, Star Trek, and DC Online come to mind so not sure what games you have played where queues was not an issue

Yes the plastic comes off the case, its there to protect the base from scratches in shipment I had to use an exacto knife in the corner to lift it up enough for me to be able to pull it off

That is my feeling as well, the amount of crying and just utter disgust around here for things that are pretty standard for an MMO launch is just amazing

Work lol, you obviously do not realize the number of people that take off work just to play Call of Duty or Madden upon release are the same or higher that are going to the play the 1st Star Wars MMO Not saying queues with the extreme length are OK (40min-1hr is pretty darn good compared to other launches I have been a part of) but seriously the amount of people who seem honestly surprised at this is mind blowing

How is this deceptive, SWTOR has a standard subscription model with the 1st month free just like Netflix, Hulu, every other pay per month MMO I get people are unhappy but holy crap this should not be a surprise, its the way business has been done FOR YEARS

I know people are unhappy, but personally I got my game 7 days before launch and have only run into a LONG queue once. Guess I am not so hardcore but to me this was worlds better than the DC Online and Star Trek launches I was a part of. The DC One was painful for queues and the Star Trek one was just painful in general lol

Yes it is, its just harder if you are not powerful enough. On the esseles one I tried to do it by myself and was progressing pretty far but the middle boss was just too much to handle (at the time) with all the surrounding enemies also attacking. I assume if you are high enough in level or have powerful enough of a weapon and healing items you can get through at least the initial ones

I don't think its level capped, I helped my brother last night in esseles and I was a Level 15

I love the show, own most of the toys and all the seasons on Blu-Ray The cartoony aspect of SWTOR actually appeals to me Its just too bad we seem to never get any kind of animated/CGI series for post Ep 4-6 like we seem to get for everything before

I have no issues with it, I did notice that last night I was able to search for things that will work with me and now when I do that nothing shows (but if I select ALL then the items show)

Got both mine from Gamestop last night, paid for overnight was worth it!
