  1. What I don't get...Is how come a game like Halo can get mass pvp fights right and SWTOR cant? That game is designed on a console. Doesn't most every SWTOR player have a PC that DWARFs the consoles? Why does SWTOR have to be so complicated. Keep it simple stupid. While in sPVP limit the number of abilities available for use. Or have a separate set of abilities. There really shouldn't be more then 12 abilities in sPVP.
  2. You could always give it to Lord Scourge. Do you need the cash? I wouldn't pay 250k for that gem perhaps 150k and 50 60k for the more common gems..
  3. Yeah and they took that to mean Free to Play option was needed. Not that the game in its current form wasn't worth subbing to. If Bioware had changed the model to what Guild Wars 2 has where the whole game was free to all and any expansions was where they charged on content and the cash shop was for cosmetic fluff. It may have been different. Of course there would have been many pissed off cause they paid for a boxed or digital copy but people will complain anyway. I myself got the Boxed CE edition. I didn't like the idea of the cash shop. I don't like the hybrid status of the game. Its divisive and promoted a sort of class warfare between F2Prs and subbers. Subbers start to feel nickel and dimed for things they believe should be included with the monthly sub. Subbers also feel all should put in the same effort to aquire items in game. To be able to go and just purchase said items cheapens the experience for others. So I can see why a lot have left. I am only staying long enough to finish out the 3 class stories I haven't done yet. I only hope that Star Child lives up to the preliminary demo videos I have seen. Then again as with any new game.... DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE.
  4. I want I want I want. Your post makes you sound like a 12 year old ( If you are 12 I apologize). How on earth is and developer to make any money? Those extra 5 levels are the carrot on the stick. Classic MMO design LOL. To me the subscription gives me access to play the current game. If said game is upgraded I need to pay an upgrade fee to access those new features. After all those features were not part of the original game. Be happy they aren't charging an extra dollar a month subscription. I do agree that the complete feature set of the xpac need to be outlined at least a month in advance of release.
  5. I would like the loot model changed. I would like to see large chests added to all encounters. Everyone gets to loot it them selves and get their own set of loot. Abolish need greed rolling. at each boss kill let everyone get their own loot. New class New class chapters Guild Capitol Ships (Non Instanced) Attackable / Defendable Guild ships with upgradable complement of fighters. Jedi / Sith companions for smuggler / agent / BH / Trooper classes with companion quests. Further integration of HK-51 into the leveling process (Not just a lvl 50+ Companion) More then just death match CTF or king of the hill warzones. The return of Ilum large scale warzones with max player limits before another Instance opens. Ways for an entire quild to enter Ilum type warzone as a group. (max of 50 players) or 50% of zone max. Ways for multiple guilds to team up for Ilum type warzone as a group. Ways for Rebels of one server to fight Imps of another server in Ilum type warzones. Ways for rebels of one server to join rebels of another server to fight the sith of 2 or more servers. Account wide address books so If a friend is online but on another server I can see them and chat or email them. (TXT only) New unexplored completely wild planets to explore. Not part of any existing quests or story. No one has dominance over them. 50 levels to attain I would gladly pay 40 or 50 bucks for this amount of content.
  6. Or..... Perhaps force disconnect people who have had to many of these red text macro messages. Perhaps these messages are being data mined by Bioware to find out just how many people are using them. Perhaps they will add into the launcher a detection code to warn and disable HW macros and only allow key binds and re mapping of keys. But no one button multi ability attacks.
  7. We don't know how fast the XP curve will be from 50 to 55. I would Love it if the entire planet of Makeb only got us like 1 level. I want it to take about 2 months steady playing to complete Makeb. 3 or 4 months casual play. Then again I got 6 lvl 50s so that's another 30 levels for me hehe. As far as the armor situation. I want there to be new better gear. I like the gear grind. I have nothing to do if my guys are all decked out in BIS stuff. If I hit a plateau then eventually everyone else does and theres no insentive to do OPS anymore on those toons cause theres no reward. Completing content for the sake of the content it self isn't enough for me...
  8. So barrel rolling is a functional move and not just cosmetic? I was not doing that at all. Perhaps I will fair better now. I still would like a better reticle. One that is hard to loose sight of in battle.
  9. I got all series 7 mods for my ship and couldn't get through any of the new missions past mid to 3/4s of the way through. Yes I was using emp and shield boost. Guess I will have to keep plugging at them. I hope theres better craftable ship parts that are superior to the cartel market parts. I could do plenty of damage but couldn't mitigate enough to survive. Also with so much goin on I kept loosing sight of my target reticle. Could we get options for the reticle? Perhaps different colors? I would like a larger one and perhaps a bright florescent color. I would also like a Astromech that can slowly repair my hull during the mission. I don't want them easy. However since it IS a MINI game I want it to be passable. I did Zosha mission it was green to me and I barely got through that one with all lvl 7 parts... What are your observations?

  11. Yeah but there needs to be population control. cant have 100 sith and only 50 pubs or 100 pubs and only 50 sith. We also need large maps with halo warthog style vehicles with mounted weapons. Yeah ide be ok with a first person -esq style warzone. I want a server browser to see how many are running and how many people are in each. I don't usually like to compare games but Guild wars 2 got large pvp maps right. Wish swtor could support pvp like that. Ide like to see buildable siege weapons. Semi portable morter launchers. Large shield generators that can be deployed in the field. Ala Gungan assault on Trade Federation on Naboo in EP 1. Just on a smaller scale. I don't like to be all in someones face but playing from the rear launching morters at whole groups of enemy players that sounds exiting.
  12. Considering purchasing these upgrades has no effect on any other player other then the player who buys them this is win win. You cant even show off the fact that you have these upgrades to others. There is no space pvp. If there was I could see the argument. I wont be buying these upgrades cause I can get them for free in game. I say good on EA for capitalizing on an area of the game that's entirely solo.
  13. Hell I want 3 more chapters. 50 more levels I want to fall to the darkside. I want to redeem myself to the light. I want panets to change mobs dynamically when its night time or daytime. oh the above requires day / night cycle and real weather and visibility changes. New Classes? a weaponless force using Martial artist (Teräs Käsi) A meditating battle enhancement heavy shield protected Jedi / sith (sorta like the Bard class in EQ1) A pure technological engineer class using droids and probes and toxins to fight. Quality of life enhancements. I want the SSSP Guild Capitol ships (flyable) New personal fighters (flyable) Ability to land personal ship on the guild owned capitol ship. Mining ships (flyable) New totally explorable galaxies. Asteroids to mine. Barren planets full of wildlife to exploit for resources and guild and personal housing. That's 2 expansions right there. I know there could be more but my mind is blank now..
  14. There is a lot of things that is done in the Clone Wars cartoon that is ignored in SWTOR. Hell they manage to have CG Ithorian Jedi LOL.. Anyway SWTOR takes place before The Clone Wars and therefor probably has no bearing on the game. Those Pics look like Cody Lent Obi-One a spare set of his armor anyway.
  15. This may be a prelude to removing expertise altogether. Why do I need 2 different sets of gear to pvp? Sure let people who pvp get gear but let it be useful in the whole game. Granted the highest pvp gear would also have to be on par with the highest pve gear but let both be just as effective no matter what your doing..
  16. What I wouldn't mind seeing is a new hub created for players. Could be the casino. Have multiple arcade games available to play. As if your toon walked into a real arcade / casino with cards some sort of dice game and arcade games from the old days. Like xwing and Return of the Jedi. Rogue Squadron Xwing VS TieFighter. The actual Lucas Arts Games from Back in the days of Arcades at the Mall. You Know the 80s???? Subs get unlimited access F2P have to pay to play them. Would give more incentive to sub and be more revenue from free to play players. You would be able to access all OPS and flash points from this area via mission terminals and they would transport you to the location.
  17. There is an entire new world to create if they utilize water. That was one of the best things about GW2 was the underwater environments. I wish SWTOR had something similar. Its not like the movies didn't have it. The Gungans had an entire city under water. Then there's the planet Kamino (SP?) Of course Light sabers and blasters aren't gonna work under water so standard swords and other various blade weapons need to be created. Force could work but not lightning. You would fry everyone near you if ya used force lightning under water LOL....
  18. Good Ideas however I want the class story a little bit more personal. Also if you make it so you have to do OPS to complete a personal story quest the forums will implode. Not all like OPS. I do like ops but the class quest needs to stay soloable and personal. However I hope more chapters include more companions or the ability to use your legacy members as companions at least those on the same faction any way.
  19. I run the game on windows 8. Have no more issues then I did with windows 7. Running pro 64 bit version. On the same exact hardware as the windows 7 OS. I really think its the folks who PVP or are in OPS a lot that complain about performance. Normal day to day gaming / leveling isn't an Issue for me... I have Windows 8 Pro 64 bit Nvidia GTX 470 1280M Video ram PCI-Exp2 OCZ-Vertex 3 128GB SSD 12GB Crucial ram 1200 WATT power supply (Prolly Overkill) Dual Monitor setup 21 inch LCD DVI and 55 Inch REAL3D LG LCD TV on HDMI (for games and Video)
  20. I agree Jaxo SHOULD have been the Companion but Once you get past Elaras rigid exterior she is a most devoted wife/companion. I eventually was quite taken with her. Jaxo is the best romance story to date.
  21. I want them to bring back Jaxo. Perhaps have it come out that Jaxo was cloned and brain washed and it was the clone or even the evil twin sister who died. I really wanted to have her on my team. Especially after spending the night with her. For them to kill her like that makes for good story but really sucked. I would also Like to see a Dog type of companion. One who you get as a pup and have to raise and feed and train before he can fight. In fact it might be cool to have that option with all the mini pets.
  22. I have a question does the taunt abilities work in PVP? If I use my taunt in PVP are the players I taunt prevented from targeting anyone else for a short time? Would I as a tank be able to save my healer by using a taunt and preventing people from beating on him? Then said healer keeps me alive while the dps on my team kill the attackers? Wouldn't that then make the tank or healer the focal point? I haven't pvpd much and when I did it was as a trooper dps. I wouldn't mind tanks getting a AOE Taunt that has an effect that is incurable non removable that lasts for 30 seconds has 1 minute cooldown. I would also not allow more then 4 dps 2 healers and 2 tanks per 8 man team. Having matches that are all healers or dps or tanks is no fun. If a team has no healer then there should be a regen buff on all members or something to help out. The game needs to make sure each team is some how balanced. I used to tank a lot with my shadow I enjoyed it a lot. PVE only and at the time EC 16 man Hard mode was the hardest OP. There was such a small margin for error. I liked that but some of the mechanics were just not logical. For instance firebrand and storm caller for me was the most difficult encounter. Why a single tank and 2 healers cant keep agro and soak any damage the 2 tanks throw out drives me nuts. having to let 2 other people run in front of me to get double destruction drove me nuts. I as a tank should be able to mitigate that damage with proper use of abilities and good healing. On the other hand I think the Toth and Zorn Fight is done very well. the last fight is good too. I just don't like all the chaos. Tanking is fun but in SWTOR a tank really isn't a pure meat shield like the Warrior class was in Everquest. I liked how when I tanked in EQ as long as I had the right gear on for resistances and such I could survive almost every fight as long as agro and healing was managed correctly. However in those days we would have at least 2 main tanks and 3 or 4 backups who could switch gear mid fight if need be to take over if I was to fall. We also had healers stand back out of range to resurrect the fallen if need be. Different animal here. I miss those days wish I had the time to spend on a game like that again...
  23. Not likely they have enough issues. If an alrenate client were to be compiled it would be on MacOS first and they haven't even hinted at supporting that...
