I don't know what u guys are talking about. Im devastating on merc in pvp. Ive had only one bad 4v4 experience. But other than that I out kill everyone. last match I played yesterday I was 32/1 kill death and even capped 2 pylons. Got 2 mvps on a solo pick up match. People just need to learn how to play their job. The 12x exp is creating a lot of noob players that don't know how to play correctly.

i know it exists cause ive seen a video of someone defeating a boss, and it shows the enemies abilities it was using in the chat box. There was no talking in the box, only abilities and damage. FFXI has something exactly like this but its part of the game. I thought that swtor had it but it could be a third party program. I just don't know.

I loved the show, but hated how it ended. They could of done a lot better. This ranks up there with LOST. Had me goin for the most part, but the last couple of episodes were just garbage.

Rome:Total War is a good one that I keep going back to. It's a mico management game, build up cities, castles, troops. Forge alliances, go to war.

 

Total war: rome 2 or shogun 2 are epic games. i have literally 2 years of playing time on each game. Id have a lot more if it weren't for swtor.

 

Heroes of might and magic 3 and 5 are really good as well. I cant seem to stop playing heroes 3. Its from like the 1990s but something that great cant be put down. My wife makes me play her all the time.

in the story first chapter is cool but 2nd and 3rd are horrible. The style of play is my favorite. And in pvp Im having a blast compared to melee jobs. A lot of people hate on BH but I find it to be one of the best jobs. Ive realized im a mando at heart. Haters gonna hate, wouldn't be the game without em.

[Best and Worst Class for new to PVP]

new to pvp, I would try a ranged job like merc. If your trying to learn, shooting someone from far away and running like hell so they don't hit you from melee attacks works well for me. im always above 4:1 kill/death on a ranged job. On melee jobs you really need to be good at your rotation and learn how to cc right to survive. I would do melee pvp after your more experienced.

Its been my experience that assassin is the sickest in pvp. (cause thats what usually kills me) But when I leveled merc arsenal and pvped with that I never looked back. I don't even play the story anymore, I just pvp on merc every night.

I had this thought the other day too. I heard the same thing in another post. Would they reset it all together or convert them to basic comms? Either way im gonna be pissed.

in my first pvp which was hut ball. I asked how to pass the ball and someone told me to hit alt-f4. And nobody else would help me. I ended up getting two mvp awards that match but had no idea how to pass the ball once I killed the ball carrier. It seems the pvp arenas are full of elitist *****s. I ended up getting the info I needed from this forum and looking up help on the internet. Don't feel bad that the community in pvp wont help. Usually that's how it goes in most mmorpgs. When it comes to fighting other people, the community expects u to be semi competent. it took me about a week to figure out how each arena worked. Just keep playing and don't be discouraged. Understand that there are gonna be a-holes regardless and enjoy the game.

There is nothing more satisfying than getting spanked at something, practicing, and becoming very good at it after time. And then out performing those who would put you down. As 2pac would say, keep your head up.

every computer has a mute function. Use that. I like treek's jiber jabber. It scares the hell out of my wife late at night if I have the audio to loud.

i would recommend you play your first character without the level exp bonus. That way u learn how to play your job. You don't miss out on the story. And you get a feel for the mechanics in the game. You need to buy new gear via gtn or use mods every 10 levels otherwise ur gonna die a lot.

[Which Class For PvP?]

I leveled marauder and held my own in pvp. Then I leveled merc arsenal and im am feared throughtout my server. I eat marauders and assassins for breakfeast. After im done killin I go to their house, enslave their wifes and kill their dog. Then make a sandwich with whatever i can find in their fridge.

 

PVPing a ranged dps that can shoot on the move is uber fun and satisfying. I hear merc is gonna get a cloaking ability in 4.0, thanks bw for reading my mind.

Buy the legacy perks for companion affection. Theres a story perk and a gift perk, buy both if your able to, they are not that many credits and they are definitely worth it. Also u can pick up a craft like diplomacy that gives u companion gifts.
