  1. Just a note, Sorc/Sage cannot dispel corrosives, which are Tech effects. Merc/Commando and other Operatives/Scoundrels can, however. (which of course leaves tons of Tracer Missile spammers who can cleanse them. If they ever bother, I haven't seen them cleanse mah dots, anyways.)
  2. It'd be nice. Would open few more slots, and move some of my more complicated keybinds to someplace more acceptable (like Sneak and Sleep Dart. Hidden Strike could also get away from my Shift-R to just R where Backstab is with the stealth bar)
  3. I don't think anyone is trying to say Operative isn't "fine". Sure, we are. We can do content "fine". But how many hoops we have to jump through to get to be "fine", compared to other classes? Maintaining KPs goes so deep into micromanagement territory once things get going that it's so much easier to just forget about them on others than the tank(s), and get stuck doing KInj+SP cycle. While RN has it's uses, it is so very situational. And always limited to 4 targets. Running 16 man Ops, our top heal affects 4 random people. Sorc AoE? Yup, heals all 16 players in the raid (or does it? Ability says "all aliies", anyways). For example, Annihilation Droid's AoE phase is so much more simpler for an Sorc to keep the whole raid healed than it is for an Operative, for us doing that is next to impossible, I feel.
  4. Medicine is what I've played the most, so I'll just focus on that. 1) Make RN useful. Currently there's zero point to having it in any situation, IMO. 28/0/13 (or 25/3/13) feels the flat out best healer build due to Combat Stims being such an awesome energy regen tool, not to mention being able to more easily help with damage by tossing corrosives on things when things are quiet. 2) Rework the Diagnostic Scan skills. I don't see the point of using them past level 44, where you get Surgical Probe+Precision, and Combat Stims at the same time. I understand the theory of the thing, good way to regen energy, but you don't really need it to regen energy, CS does a much better job at that. Make them refresh all HoTs on target, or grant some buff on the scanned target (HoTs heal more? Heals cast on the target have +X% chance of critting?) 3) Evasive Imperative. Eh? +20% speed for 3 seconds? It's barely noticeable. It should be much, much faster. Like +30-50% for rank 1, and +60-100% at Rank 2. The skill is rather high up in the Medicine tree too, so it's not something Concealment ops would spec into to get their "gap closer" -- and even then using it to close any gaps would prevent them from using their combat stealth if they are dotted due to the the DoT cleanser being on CD). 4) Med Shield. Allow the talent to make Shield Screen usable on friendly targets, and increase the healing given to them. The long CD makes it not as useful as a Sorc Bubble, nor does it really step on Merc healers toes with the healing efficiency boost (while Kolto Residue is smaller, it is also an AoE effect, with 6 second CD.) Either way, make the +15% healing buff persist for 15 seconds, past the absorb decaying. In PvP this'll currently never trigger, since Shield Screen melts away in first few seconds. Think same goes for PvE if you take big hits.
  5. Depends largely on the map. I tend to play a lot more aggressive healer too, best way to heal is damage preventation in the shape of backstabs, explosive probes and an array of corrosives, IMO. (plus, it's more fun mixing things up) I tend to heal people once they hit around 50%, and DPS until that. Some games with lots of incoming damage, I go all out heals and rake out around 400k healing at best. Commonly, something like 100k damage with 200-250k healing. ~more or less full Battlemaster with a sparkling of Champion items (bracers, offhand, relic IIRC).
  6. Without resorting to kill trading, chill out at Ilum when doing WZs. You don't have to actually do anything there, just enjoy the +100..200 Valor per WZ bonus being there gives. Or you can just pick the buff up, and go back to fleet, tho you need to refresh it hourly. Do note, that if you enter WZ while in the Ilum "combat area", you lose the buff on re-entry. Best done at the "gate" to Ilum near the cave. Get outside the combat area before entering WZ, and pop back in to refresh the buff after. Ain't that much, but every bit helps.
  7. Champion is purple, Battlemaster is red with a black core (which may or may not be really ugly depending on your preferences). Not entirely sure on Centurion.
  8. Why would you? There's no reason to buy all the slots, especially if you do WZs most of the time. Of course there isn't a reason not to buy them, given how abundant credits are.
  9. BM Helmet and Gloves are pretty terrible for Medicine Operative as well, since the mods in by default are really bad. Swap the mods around and it's a bit better.
  10. I want to see an Operative healer tank 6 players... Even a single competent DPS is enough to force me to heal myself while running around pylons, boxes, and everything else to break the LoS simply not die. Add a second guy to the bunch and I'm dead. Or cloaking the hell out, disabling myself for 10 seconds + whatever time it takes for me to heal up.
  11. What's so hard about PvE gear? Credits aren't that hard to come by, and marketplace in general seems to have plenty of gear you can buy. Flashpoints supply very good gear for all level ranges, and take up a crafting skill like Armormech or Synthweaving and you'll be set for whole leveling stint in decent gear with minimal effort. Cybertech also works with having the ability to craft mods for yourself. Hell, all PvE quests on planets reward commendations, which can be used to buy mods, armor and weapons at will. Champion gear hardly is comparable to Columi. For PvE Columi is much better, since the Expertise stat in Champ comes at the cost of all other stats in the armor. Sure, Champ will work for HM FPs, but so will L49 purple mods off dailies. It's not like HMs are that hard.
  12. There was some nice fighting in our PvE server in Ilum, low pop server so there really wasn't any zerg groups. Most of the time it was roughly equal sized ops group fighting for central. Then a week or so ago someone started kill trading, and that's the way it has been ever since. No more fighting. Ilum is a joke.
  13. Then they'd definitely need to change the side speeders in Alderaan, given how fast people get back, CCing them is often the only way to actually cap the turrets.

    Why?

The AFK kicker timer starts while players are still on the loading screen. Load slow -> get AFK kicked without even getting out of the load screen. Or if you do, you get held back by the bloody spawn gate for 20 seconds with less than that left on the deserter detection.
  15. Eh, don't think I really fit either group very well. I PvP'd in Anarchy Online, which is a whole lot different ballgame of blob vs blob, or simply terribad class balance in the battlestations. I PvP'd in Aspenwood a lot in Guild Wars, running all kinds of silly gimmick builds just for laughs. Never been that srs about it, and WZs are the most fun thing to do in TOR atm, IMO.
  16. If this was possible, I'd have full set of Champ on my alt by the time I hit 50. Yes please

    Stealth

Don't think any of the long mezzes work their full 60 second duration, that'd be just silly given that CC breaker is on 2 minute CD. Sleep Dart CCs another player for some 8 seconds, not entirely sure, but hasn't been long enough to keep a player out for me to complete capping a turret/plating a bomb.

    PvP Vendor Fail

It can be turned off from the preferences menu. But it really could use some kind of a threshold so it wouldn't warn about items costing <50 WZ comms or something. It's a nifty idea but it whining about merc comms makes you want to turn it off, thus remove the protection it'd offer.
  19. R62 Operative healer, and I in general get 3 MVPs+ even if I'm at the very bottom of the list. While queuing solo.
  20. Never does. I've hit the cap on all the levels up to L48 so far.
  21. 11 days remaining, and the way things are at the moment, won't be resubbing. Stuck on a low-ish pop server, WZ queues take ages, finding a PUG for FPs is agonizing, Ilum is still a sorry mess and the Daily quest there is just terrible. Killtrade, or farm boxes, yerp. Seen the end game content and it's not something that'd keep me in any more. Probably will resub after the big March patch tho.
  22. Sync glitches, especially in Huttball. Dudes seems to have fallen into the pit, you follow him down since he was on low HP, only see him spaz around a second, and then just warp back up. welp, good luck getting back up there in time to stop him.
  23. I'd guess he just copypastad the text. The link in text is correct, but the address in the email would've gone to the scam site. www.swtor.com-like.
  24. Been around 81% for ages now. Running the math it would go just past 5k with 90% surge. But given that the nerf is coming in the next patch, getting that 90% becomes trickier. Well, without Relic+Adrenal anyways.
  25. Yeah, the 2.5k medal isn't a big deal, as an Operative I crit for around 4.2k with the trauma debuff. Never been able to get the 5k healing medal with Trauma on, tho, so in that sense the surge nerf changes nothing for me.
