  1. The level of 75 regs is very close to rock bottom at the moment... It's funny how I still remember the constant complaint about quitters on this forum. Well, guess what ? Bioware listened.. and now we are all angry ? How is that possible , when this is what we asked them to do. I also noticed that que times are slightly slower so BIOWARE please remove this horrible feature from regs. Please... It should kept only in ranked ! I started PVP-ing around mid to late 4.0 and I don't remember PVP being this bad ....
  2. I don't think this game can get any lower than this.... So we are going to end up with clueless bads reporting players for " cheating" ... Holy mother of cows. I had a feeling this Chris Schimidt's reporting system is going to backfire .. There is a tactical that allows marauders to vanish multiple times because predation resets the cooldown of their vanish.
  3. ...... because the developers of this game were famous for making great single player rpg's and group content was never going to be their strongest quality when making swtor. This game was never designed for any serious PVP , despite what some people claim here on the forums... Yeah yeah.. I know, PVP was super *great* once , but the history of Bioware's decisions over the years has just kept ruining PVP even more . For 6.0 they came up with a great idea that they executed very poorly . This is the addition of tacticals .. Onm paper , its a great thing, but look how bad it is.. It's just creates more class imbalance because you are forced to que only with certain tacticals , otherwise you are just contributing more to getting yourself killed faster . They added a lot of set bonuses.. with most of them being totally useless for any content and you are left with only one viable bonus for all classes , but there might be some exceptions . If you intend to play ranked as a tank, you are forced to que as juggernaut with that idiotic set bonus that reduces accuracy ... If you are a sin player or a Pt player and love the playstyle , you cannot que.. because everytime you get a jugg tank, you might be an autoloss for your team( if equal skill of tanks) . Yeah , it's super stupid... A lot of losses in PVP are due to stupid matchmaking and poor class balance which ends up creating toxicity because players will end up blaming each other for something that was already lost before it started. You shouldn't take SWTOR very seriously .. Just que and enjoy . There is no point getting mad over things that are totally out of your control.

I have a similar build and I can tell you that you will run swtor perfectly in PVE , but sadly , you will still see drops in performance in PVP , like 60 fps - sometimes below that, but your experience will still be a good one(better than most have). Overall you have a very good system for most modern games except swtor that uses an engine from your grandpa's youth . If you want to run swtor perfectly, you need to buy a very expensive CPU and I don't think it's worth it .. I know it isn't for me.
  5. Class stacking is not something that can be fixed with a patch... Class stacking happens because like the poster above said , out of the 26 specs, only 6 -8 or viable for arena PVP ? What does that lead to ? Very simple.. you get people queing only on those specs , which will create class stacking. It's logical. If there are 7 fury maras in que and 9 con operatives 6, AP Pt's. It's very likely you will get stacked teams . So in order to fix the problem , they need to fix class balance and make every spec playable in competitive PVP and that's something that will never happen because 10 years have passed with the same problems being present. So my advice is .. just enjoy the que and don't bother too much with class stacking and terrible outcomes. It's solo ranked. You get random nobodies in your team.
  6. Yeah same... I feel like vomiting every time I get lagball and I am forced to play it because maybe I don't want a " forced" 15 minute break for leaving... Before the introduction of lockouts, I always left at the start so that I won't ruin the game for other people with my... rage anti hutball dps farming, but now I have no choice. I just hate it ... and I don't like how I am forced to play it. The same goes for people who don't like arenas, I guess. We SHOULD be allowed to quit before the time out ends.

You probably won't get many replies to this post, as your writing and thinking is way too sense for a lot of rock heads hammering their keyboards in SWTOR PVP, but I'd like you to know that you are spot on. I agree with everything you said. I'd like to add the fact that now, since the PVP community is a lot thinner than it was in season 8 for example, the toxicity levels are quite reasonable. It's a lot less toxic than it used to be. Some players I've encountered over the years were absolutely pure cancer. My ignore list is mostly full of these life forms I have no words to express and I've always wondered how can someone be so low life of a being to abuse and harass, bully... humiliate someone for losing in a video game. I think this is mental.. and needs professional help. I was complete noob back then. and oblivious to a lot of game mechanics and 1% of the players actually tried to help me or gave me tips, and I did ask them. Why would they help anyway when their only interest is to farm you and boost their ratings. In ranked you have only one choice. You develop a thick skin and keep queing all the time and play through all the hate and insults you might encounter. Also, as soon as you hit the que button, you should accept the fact that you might be the target of some good trash talking ( if you aren't experienced player), but there isn't any other way to improve. Regs will help you to a limited extent only. As for improving PVP... I don't think this current team will bring anything that is ground breaking to ranked. It's been many many years and the complaints, requests are mostly the same, but there were so positive changes like toxicity reduction by removing vote kick .So it's not like they aren't listening to us.. but with limited resources, there isn't much that they can do.
  8. I disagree with what you said about Carnage... I'm not not saying it's not inferior to that trash fury spec, but it's NOT bottom . In fact, it's burst is pretty good ! My only problem with carnage was the fact that Bioware added thee stupid stealth tacticals and you are basically forced to use it in ranked. Playing carnage in ranked with fanged god form was very good, but without stealth tactical and cc immunity, I was very vulnerable to stealth stun festivals ! Hatred is however one of the most garbage specs in this game... I feels like you are playing something that has nothing to do with 6.0 meta or class balance... It's just numbers floating on screen that do absolutely nothing. It''s good in some situations , but those are rare. I have seen people do wonders with it tho, but those guys are not very common in ranked. I believe that every class and spec should be viable in ranked for allowing is to play what we like, but it's not the case with swtor. It's always the same classes and specs in que, that's why we have so much class stacking.
  9. Yeah , pretty much this... We just needed something to do in this game... But I doubt they intended them to cost over 500 mil / piece on the GTN and that is why I wouldn't be surprised if they made them more accessible in the future.
  10. I doubt you'd be surprised if Bioware releases the mats to HM OPS and MM Flashpoints as well in an upcoming patch... That would be so much like them.
  11. You think 700 mil for one augment is good business ? I have some billions, but I am not THAT stupid... Bioware made a great decision again. Add mats to content that almost no one does = insane prices on gtn. I don't even think those people actually sell their augments . I understand the logic of adding them to hard content... Making them drop from MM FP's too would have been pretty reasonable and would have made them affordable also. So I ask again: No way to get them outside of team ranked and nim ops ? GTN is out of the question...

IMPORTANT UPDATE TO THIS QUESTION : I suppose you checked the price on the new augments on the market and saw that they are listed for 800 mil / piece ! :D So what is genearting all these credits and creating this ludicrous inflation ? Well , the developers themselves are one of the reasons ! I mean what's the point of releasing augments that no one needs ,and put the mats needed to craft them behind content that 1-2 % of the game population plays or is interested in ? I mean, on darth malgus we have 1000 players playing now( a guess) and how many of those actually do nim content or ranked pvp ? 50, 60 ?? ... And all this has led to these totally insane prices .... It will be curious to see if they go down after a few months.
  14. He is the kind of player who feels entitled.. He cannot do damage, he can't heal enough if he's a heal, nor can he properly tank , in 1v1, he is instant dead , but he somehow feels that it's unfair that he cannot rage quit every game where his team is unable to carry him to the win.
  15. Nope and nope all over... You are just playing ranked and the game and classes have never been designed to work in that environment(arenas) . It has been how many years of constant buffs and nerfs and we are still absolutely nowhere in terms of " Pvp balance for arenas" . In regs everything is viable,. but in arenas ? One class will always be trash and get instant deleted and another class or classes will always be OP and kill everything with 3 button presses. Players will always roll what is OP and the que will be 80 % that , which will automatically lead to increased class stacking. Pointless to talk about.. changes. And by the way , 3v3 ? Imagine 3 opers in the same team or 2 it's GG for the enemy team. This game was never meant to have any serious PVP.. despite what some naive people claim on these forums. It was designed by a company that became famous for making cool single player rpg's. Making proper PvP was the last thing they were good at . And after all these years , we still talk and complain about the same things. Let's have some toxicity changes, but I doubt they will ever change the core of ranked , the way players are ranked.. that rubbish ELO system that was designed for chess and matchamking Encourage team ranked ? No way in hell... are you serious ? Without PROPER rewards and incentives like we had in season 9-10, no one will ever bother except the same people that will want the top rewards for themselves. They will make teams and walk over every " average" team that will want to participate and that is why no one ques . The 2 seasons I mentioned earlier were an exception , but as usual, this " cool " playerbase complained about noobz and Bioware killed team ranked. So , just enjoy Solo ranked the way it is. Accept losses and the fact that it's random que and sometimes it won't be fair to you. I am sure you won't come here complaining about it after having winning streaks because the que favored you. Removing it is out of the question... especially for something that no one will play (team ranked).
  16. Asking CS for things they 10000% cannot do and then complain about it on the forums...... You lost a tactical due to some bug or whatever. Big deal.... you will buy it from the vendor on GTN or you are going to be lucky and get it again sometime. CS aren't some kind of magicians and do anything you want . If it's a bug, and the item didn't drop at all, how is the CS going to bring to bring it back ? Did you think about it for a second ? No , you didn't....
  17. Oh look at that... What a nice reply. Gonna write a short one now cause I just woke up from my afternoon nap and my brain can't process this much information at once. " And here's the thing...you can sell the legendary embers that you get from the game (RNG even), but if you want to augment your characters cause you raid, then suddenly you have to make choices. If you want the right amplifiers...well here go the credits by the millions. And suddenly 70M isn't that much anymore. " Actually, I disagree here...becasue : 50 mil + credits every 2 weeks would be a decent earned sum of credits that would cover your expenses for a lot things in game . Amplifiers are something that can be done in a less economically damaging way, which means that you NEVER EVER roll anything past 50k if you haven't got that nice uber stat you were looking for. I made the stupid mistake(and many more have also, I,m sure) of rolling amps like a madman cause I wasn't getting what I wanted fast enough... and that melted credits like crazy. . My initial learning money for this my stupidity was around 500 mil credits lost on amps, until I learned to be patient and no more rolling past 50k ever again. For this to work, you have to store the 306 armorning , the best ones. There are ways of making credits in this game, but if you are newer player, it's harder because you lack a lof of information....and also, a huge part of the playerbase is clueless about a lot of things in swtor and they don't even bother to search for the information. I was like this too.. but I was always tuned in for these mat selling things ever since they dropped in the game and always milked as much credits as I could out of them, and still do today to have a minimal income in swtor. The golden times of team ranked season 9-10 helped me greatly in this endeavour. It was just perfect . Why I have so much money now ? No idea honestly, but then again, I don't spend on anything ever except grenades and stims. 6.0 gearing was the only thing I spent credits on... PS: You don't need to play 4 hours every day to achieve what I just wrote in that post... 1, 2 hours is doable. If you can steadily earn 20 mil in a week or 2 weeks , it's way beyond average Joe earns . I don't log in every day and still earn a good income and I achieve conquest on 5-6 alts only. But like you said, it's a matter of personal choice. There are paths you can choose . But no one should complain about others having 50 times more credits than them. I am talking about players that earn credits the legit way in swtor, not cheaters and credit seller folk... ! And finally, I realize now that buying yourself every stronghold and unlocking every room is not something that everyone can do. And my method of making credits is for older players mostly.... but even if you are newer, you can achieve this in time if you are patient and set it as a goal you slowly work towards.

Not really sure what your suggestions bring to this thread or what exactly do you want to accomplish by post 24/7 how bad PVP is in this game and how utterly useless and garbage solo ranked is ? Has it ever occurred to you that maybe despite all your trolling, some people enjoy playing ranked and pvp in swtor ? Can you actually realize that not everyone thinks like you and that maybe some people like different things ? And please... Stop it with your " how great 8v8 " ranked was nonsense. It was so great that It was scrapped for arenas, because developers realized that it was a failure from the start. Imagine the toxicity in 8 man ranked when all the top players would have qued together and farmed everyone else .. Who do you think would have played that nonsense ? Your 8 man PVP is just good on paper. The reality of it is a totally different things. You have unranked for that as proof when premades farm low skilled groups. Believe me, it would never work as a ranked format.
  19. Buy every stronghold except Alderaan and unlock every room(50-60 mil credits) =150% conquest bonus then join a large yield guild and do conquest on 20 alts for 2 weeks or maybe 3 weeks. If not 100 mil, you can get 70 mil... Who's willing to do what ? I used to reach conquest goal on 3 alts every day.. Easily doable if you do the above mentioned with not much effort and you can also play what you like... I don't need to do it anymore because I have enough credits, but I would if needed.. 2 weeks of grinding is a very reasonable time, and it's not that much of a grind, as you aren't doing only that when you log in.. You don''t expect credits to just fall out of the sky, I hope...
  20. Your claim about 100 mil is totally false... You can make that very easily within two weeks with just conquest and embers alone, if you are WILLING to put in the effort.... The game will return the investment if you invest time in it. This playerbase being super casual, only a small minority accumulate a large amount of wealth from whaling the cartel market, playing the GTN , crafting or other in game activities. I don't include the credit sellers and bots, only the legit ways of earning credits. The fact that most people waste credits on irrelevant things that they get bored of the next day, doesn't mean that it's not possible to gather a pretty large sum of credits.
  21. You should have your main chat window disabled as well so in case , you would not need bother with the childish talk in PVP chat on the fleet. As for a solution on AFK players.... As soon as you go afk, the deserter counter should start again(after 30 seconds ?) and automatically kick you if you don't engage in combat , be it in solo ranked or unranked. Easiest fix....
  22. I have an obsession with triple caps or capping nodes solo... I am so addicted to it that I sometimes find myself doing just that. This way of playing " solo" in warzones has helped me play better in ranked because I can get attacked by 2 or 3 players sometimes , which will me force me to automatically kite them and use defenses and los... It was one of the things that I felt was the closest I could get to simulate 4v4 gank fest scenarios . So let's say our team has capped 2 nodes in Yavin or Adleraan and as usual, everyone is mid mindlessly farming dps... What do I do ? Well, I go their node and try to 1v1 nuke the guard and cap the 3rd one. In case they have 2 nodes, I always go to the node that isn't being attacked. So if we are attacking grass, I go snow and try to solo cap it to turn around the score. If I am successful and we somehow manage to cap grass, we have triple cap and after enemy being in the lead from the start, an unexpected turn totally ****cks them up. Sometimes I wish I could see their chat when it happens. So to answer the question.. You can play differently by also being useful.
  23. Because a lot of those players have played more than 10 000 games and after a while playing for those objectives becomes boring and you want to focus on other things, challenge yourself ... Like you set a goal that you want 5 solo kills in that warzone, or you want to solo cap their node no matter what, you want to to be top dps , you seek out 1v1 all the time, you seek out 3 v1, 4v1 situations and see for how long you can kite them.., and the list goes on.
  24. You make no sense at all.... The reason one becomes a soloer is because not everyone has 30 minutes waste to find a group...
  25. You don't really have a choice .. You are mostly forced to solo, whether you are like it or not because you will spend some time begging in chat for people to join you on some planetary heroics. Doing them solo will be ultimately faster ... SWTOR favors soloing very heavily.
