  1. That game was awesome and loads of fun!!! Well played all around.
  2. Good matches tonight! Just wanted to give a shout out to all the Reps queueing and also apologize for those games where matchmaker was doing it's usual thing. Lotsa fun though, tried to make sure my team didn't go anywhere near spawns. :x
  3. Having multiple premades queueing isn't going to help out newbie pilots adjust. o.o It just means they're going to get lumped all together more often and then bump into more keyboard-frustration-smashing games where they have to fight fully armed to the teeth premades, and every once in a while, those premades will get to fight each other. Those 'every once in a while' fights will cause the premades to refuse to disband, meaning they will go on to farm more newbies waiting for that 'once in a while fight' again, and as newbies stop queueing because that's all they're encountering, sure, the premades will see each other more often, but GSF as a whole will suffer for it.
  4. Bumping and +1ing this. It's been up for going on four months now, devs I know this would be an easy function to add for you. Stop ignoring this thread please. <3
  5. ...I hit 50 just yesterday and I have died less on operative than any other class. It's easy, it just requires some patience, a lot of sleep darts, and controlling the field. I even solo'd the final CQ boss without dropping under 98% HP. The game practically hands him to you on a plate 'if you know what you're doing' and you look very closely at the arena you face him in. Operative does not have problems leveling.
  6. Ever since I got acid blade I don't give a dang if my targets are troopers. We eat them up even after the acid blade nerf. Get your skills, learn to juggle your CDs, get shield probe, then talk about being weak. The last WZ I was in I had 280k damage in a void star run and I wasn't even 50 yet, just tearing people up.
  7. There were work arounds to the party bug, my partner had it, actually. As for the infinite credit exploits, I'll give you that.
  8. Bumping this again now that things aren't flooded. Last time doing that though.
  9. Bumping this. Flood of angry threads and people anxious to post is angry.
  10. You know, so far I love this game, but I have no idea what is going on in the minds of the PR and Customer service with this recent slew of patches. Don't get me wrong, I have been enjoying O.R. immensely and I understand that these bugs are a concern, but why are none of these patches being done ON MAINTENANCE day? The 'dance' bug I can understand, that one was legitamately game breaking, but these other little patches to fix two little bugs at a time? Nevermind that two of these weren't even announced ahead of time with minimal courtesy to people. I'm in the US, but my partner isn't, and for you people US side that think "Whatever, this isn't prime time," don't forget that the E.U. servers go down at the same time. People waking up to play or far enough across the world that this IS prime time to them are getting screwed, and they don't even get to post about it to ask what in the hell is going on with the P.R. and Customer Service in the game this week. YES. Fix bugs! GREAT. But please don't keep hopping on them every single time we sit down to play and busting up 2 to 4 hours of gameplay that those tiny bugs was not going to devastate. The servers weren't imploding, most things are running fine, please do not let bad P.R. ruin this game. I am really hoping that activities like this are not going to be normal. The first few times I was annoyed but 'whatever,' but this is every day 'since' maintenance, and why the hell wasn't all this patched ON maintenance day? You already have a system set up for weekly patches, 'please' use it. Hell, I just recently got caught with the 'rerolled and lost thousands upon thousands of creds due to the mail' bug. Would I love it fixed and to get my stuff? Definitely! Can I wait until maintenance day for things like that to happen? Well, my alt is level 10 now, so apparently so. A 'good' sudden patch would be something like fixing ability delay. That's a BIG one and it's mucking up a significant portion of the game, from smooth raiding/instancing to PVP. BIG fix, and you could 'still' give some warning before doing it (being fair, like you guys did tonight unlike the last two nights.). Unlike several other people, I fully intend to keep playing this game, but even as fangirly as I've been feeling it's really hard to keep to that feeling when everytime I close up my work files, settle down, and finally get ready to play, one hour in I'm being told "Hot patch to fix some chat issues." "Hot patch to fix some bug you've never even heard of." "Quick patch just cause!" Oh hey let me get on the forums and... Oh whoa, no early warning? ...WHOA we can't even actually complain about legitimate concerns during the impromptu patching? You even have a link to a blog post talking about WEEKLY bug patches. Not daily. Please stick to that! That's all around 'the right idea.' You give fair warning, let people know things are being done, give them a time to anticipate and plan around, and it's not 'all the time.' Another good point about 'weekly patching?' Give your patches time to really run their course on the testing server! You never know when a patch that seems perfect is going to introduce some new bugs into the game that need some fine tuning! *eyes the extra two hours tacked onto tonight* If a patch sits well for a week or two, it's probably going to hold water decently, but just throwing them out there ASAP could probably destabilize exactly what you're trying to fix or introduce new bugs that haven't had much time to bleed into the testing server. That's what the testing server is 'for,' isn't it? And PLEASE be aware that you are screwing people in different time zones from the U.S. on consecutive days in a row? Bioware, as a company I LOVE you, if I didn't I would have been far more leery of 'yet another new MMO' even with it being Star Wars. I've forgiven the bugs I have seen and the games only been out a few weeks. Please stop shoving seeds of both doubt and impatience into my mind. Maintenance day was mysteriously only about 3 or so hours long and while I was glad, I'm seriously concerned you didn't just take all 8 and do all of this on the spot, nor understand that out of the recent slew of patches, only ONE is actually game breaking and should have pulled a full stop on your servers. All the rest, as annoying as they might be, are little things and could have waited until next patch day since you missed the last one. Please do not make this a normal habit. It's not really that hard to beat certain other big MMO-producing companies P.R. and C.S. rep guys. You're trying to fix things. Hell, that puts you leagues ahead of them already, you've got a big content update coming, etc etc. Great. Please, please don't spoil it by falling off the high wire though. It's a balancing act. I enjoy the game, but these elements outside of the game are really making me question my level of tolerance.
  11. Patch on maintenance day. That's what 'maintenance' day is for. These little 2 hour downtimes every day are adding up to having multiple maintenance days with barely any forward announcements.
  12. I'm all for fixing bugs, but please only patch the really gameplay breaking ones like that dance bug on the spot, and save the others for one big patch on maintenance day. That's what maintenance day is for. All these patches are dead in the center of the time I normally play and it's getting aggravating having to twiddle thumbs during them every damned day.
  13. *waves belatedly* I roleplay here on Nyx and A'jack, amongst a few other characters. You can pretty much expect anyone in Red Sun Command to be a roleplayer, as well.
