  1. Since you have been on the offensive for nerfing or completely removing every legit player income source, alginnzor (and several other names used), it still appears to me that you are in fact one of the RMT credit sellers tiring to remove any and all income from legitimate players so your bot income is easier to sell. Maybe if they just ban people that try to push for nerfs the game would be better off. That would be a GREAT fix!
  2. I would be far more suspicious of the RMT credit sellers flexing their strength to show EA (and other game companies) that they will no longer accept interference with their illegally selling credits. While that may not be correct yet (this episode), it does show an area EA needs to look at before it does.
  3. Forget TH lockboxes, they were stealth nerfed into oblivion today. It now costs more for the mission than even selling the trash in them can recover, just of a waste of a crew skill.
  4. Title says it all, the credit sellers got their nerf and the legit players got . . . screwed. And they did not even have the decency to put it in the patch notes, like we would never notice. The missions that now cost more than you can recover from them. Thanks devs for jacking the players once again, I'm sure the credit sellers are loving you.
  5. Having to do the tunnels is perfectly in line with the history of Lokin, with his history of bio-genetic tampering and experimenting on himself. Simply killing X number of rakghouls to complete the mission would make it boring and pointless, might as well ask them to just have us slaughter the ones around his house if you are going to destroy the mission. At least the tunnels add a lot to the feeling of an aligned encounter for the issue to be resolved. This specific companion mission is already way easy to complete, just is not handed over on a silver platter in a few minutes like most companion grabs are. A more reasonable request would be to ask for permanent tunnels similar (or even a copy) to those in the rakghoul event placed on Taris with a strong resistance to letting you get to the scan points to finish the scans. Might be interesting if they made it an extension of the tunnels that already exist that are currently for end of regular zone missions, creating an instance that requires the mission to enter. I actually find having things like this tied to other in-game events a solid bonus as it adds a nice multi-faceted experience, making the goal feel like I really earned something. PvE mission tied to an event, so worries. What they really need to get rid of is any and all PvP requirements being tied to PvE content (and achievements), not everyone is a mental PK. There is, you have the option to hunt specific mobs on Hoth to gain him as a companion, just need to read the mission details (all the way through).
  6. Actually I have, multiple times, and I will re-post it here: Currently reporting is pointless, it sits in the queue for up to a month then magically goes away on patch day, unresolved. The one thing that reporting does do is to fill up your report queue up so you cannot report other issues. Here is what would work and the spammers would never know. First is to change the mail interface adding check boxes and one number selector, or put it into preferences (see list below). Second is to make it so emails that fail to get to you are not reported in any way to the sender so they keep spamming into a void, allowing them to think they are effective while just spinning their gears without any hope of progress. Third is when we do report a spammer, after the 6th report all their emails (spam) should be removed from the system until GM reviewed and actioned. Finally, give us the ability to filter our email by: Level of sender - allow us to insert a number for the lowest level character we accept email from Accept email from guild (guild officers on by default, top 2 ranks) Accept email from friends list (has to be your friends list, not theirs) Accept email from everyone Accept email from system and Legacy always active by default The key here is the anonymity factor, don't let them know they are blocked or they will just start looking for workarounds. Other factors: When a player sees and reports Jjjkd, a level 1 toon camped on a mailbox for hours at the newb start point, well ban them before they have sent spam for hours or days. Don't let the report sit in the report queue for a month. When a player reports a RMT fence on the GTN, don't let it sit in queue for a month. Get on it ASAP and keep those credits from ever making it onto the sales floor. Secure your servers better, kill the data mining, when I log in a character that has not been on in a month and find multiple daily spams from the last few days, makes you wonder how they got the names. An anonymous feature for your character would be great so they cannot get your name via generic /who searches. And finally, allow us to have basically the same filters for whispers (level, guild, friends), I really hate getting credit selling spam whispers when I am in a fight.
  7. Well you know, Rozaran (and a few dozen other names you have used), your conspiracy theory has been debunked as many times as you have picked a new name to post your claims from (almost to the letter). Please feel free to post actual FACTS as in provable evidence to support your claims.
  8. Ya, in 3 to 4 weeks since they are not working report tickets, they just delete them or "macro lip service" them in batches while doing nothing, usually when patch day comes around. That is the problem the OP was discussing, first they tell us to report the spammers but then they don't do anything about the reports so we end up with blocked ability to report other issues. Just a little while ago one of them whispered me their RMT credit spam, could not report them because I had too many other spam tickets blocking the available amount. They need to either start working the tickets daily or expand the reports to an unlimited amount. Or better yet, give us the tools (options in mail and chat) to block them anonymously so they don't even know they failed, let them keep talking to the black hole.
  9. Um . . . No. While I would love to see many items from old packs re-released, I seriously doubt it will happen much, if at all. Those are from the Black Market Cartel Packs or Crime Lord's Cartel Packs, and as such cannot simply be put on the CM, it would be a living hell for devs if they did that. They were intended to be somewhat rare item and to be a limited offering. If Bioware re-release those, they would be obligated to do the same for every item they ever sold through the packs. Lots of us paid dearly for those items when they were on the GTN so there would also be a lot of animosity towards Bioware if they showed up again, especially if they made it a single purchase item, unless it would go for a huge price tag like 5K CC or more.

  11. They rewarded us by reducing the "loyalty" CC from 525 to 500, then started delaying them for 30 days too. They stealthed that one in nice and slow to avoid being noticed by kicking it back 3 days per month for several months. Then "OOPS, busted. We found the problem and are fixing it." Still waiting for them to get it back to the day they take our money like it should be rather than 29 days after.
  12. Thanks for the reply. I was actually referring to the 8 hour "Stimulant" (aka stim) and not the short duration adrenal. I had already considered and discounted adrenals based on similar reasoning you wrote about.
  13. Since presence is supposed to "increase the effectiveness of your companion," it seems like using a presence stim should in theory improve your comps crafting ability (looking for more crits). Has anyone tested or know any specifics on this?
  14. Same here, lots of the Mercs in tanks but those go inactive after a few. We used to be able to break all the tanks. Need to increase the number of tanks we can pop or just put enough free mobs in there to meet the needs of the mission, can't be that hard to plant the mobs. Edit: As a work around, you can go outside and reset the Phase (not the mission), then pick up the needed Mercs as you fight through to the boss, no need to clear it all again. Still though, this is not something a player should ever have to do, resetting and re-killing half an instance because of programming is just not acceptable.
  15. That is pretty much true of all the pre 4.0 game. All of the nice modable gear that could be legitimately farmed from heroics and FPs is gone. Heroics are now providing primarily below level non-mod gear that I invariably have already surpassed by several levels and other low value vendor trash. The few FPs I ran after the change, the good gear has been replaced by useless below level gear and otherwise low value vendor fodder (if you get any drops in an FP). They would do well by the players to also revert FPs to pre-4.0 level player level based instances with the gear they used to provide, another huge mistake making them all high level that most lower level players get "excused" from them before even starting due to the poorly designed bolstering which does not come close to fully equalizing the low level player to the actual needs of the instance.
  16. Honestly, for a person that prefers to solo, a lot of the heroics have not been worth doing simply due to the amount of time to do them, the return has been lacking in relation to time/effort and now it is even worse. After you get to know them, it just makes more sense to bypass the time sinks and grab another toon to do the less time burdened ones, and that is truer now than ever. Another problem is so many of them need to be in an instance but are not. Even trying to group in these is next to impossible, for some reason people just refuse to group, I know that is not the companies fault but it does magnify the problems. It could take over an hour (to do a 15 minute mission) due to multiple people in the same mission competing for mobs with extremely slow spawn rates. Examples are the "Mutations" irradiated rakghoul mission on Taris or the "Down the Hole" mando at the bottom of the dungeon on tatooine. That is just two of several. Between the mundane (some players have called them far worse things) sub rewards, 30 day delay on sub CC disbursement, 29 day billing rather than 30, nerf after nerf of the casual player, lack of any real customer support, useful web pages being deleted, and no moderation in chat (sometimes the filth would scare a old sailor), I'm really losing interest in the game fast.
  17. So basically the price is still $15 a month and your criminal government tacks on the rest robbing their own citizens. I don't think you will find much sympathy for that part. You choose to remain living there, own your decision. As far as how much a F2P has access too, they get way too much already. We see posts and chat loaded with moans and groans on about a weekly basis of "woe is me, I can't, won't, don’t want to pay to play the way I want too so give me what you pay for but I want it for free!" Simple, if you cannot or will not continue pay for the subscription, enjoy what the F2P model offers as it is or move on to a game you can play totally free. Don't like the F2P restrictions? Suck it up and keep paying the sub. This reminds me of people that move next to an airport for the cheap real estate then demand it be closed due to the excessive noise from it.
  18. When I logged in I had the 6th one. I was thinking it was due to accidentally buying/using one when I first started playing and did not realize the limit was 5, so I did pay for the 6th but I am now thinking that may not be the reason for having the 6th one appear.
  19. Play the story through and all will be explained, only thing I'll tell you is not jump to conclusions early and there are some very devious plot twists in your future. Enjoy!
  20. Perfect example of PC poisoning at it's finest, but good for a laugh.
  21. It seems intermittent for me, sometimes they get the buffs back but most of the time they don't.
  22. I had about a 5 minute patch too. The patch was up shortly before the servers were pulled down. I think I started at about 4:45 am PDT.
  23. I too had the 6th one waiting for me after the servers came back online. In my case, I know that when I first started playing, I did not realize there was a 5 bay max and had bought and used the account version for a 6th one which at that time did nothing for me. Customer service would not help at that time, I suspect even 2 years ago they knew that the extra tab was in the works.
  24. Sorry if it came off in a bad way, there was no intent to demean you or your thoughts, more to provide an alternate or expanded view as I perceived it.
  25. I have to agree, Broonmark is the only comp that hit the back of the bus faster than doc (reserved a special short bus for that narcissistic, asinine, womanizing POS creep), Please bring back the good (popular) comps and drop the trash off at the nearest super nova. How about doing a poll and bring back the ones people love sooner than the trash heaps. Let us select our top three favorites.
