It is never a good Idea to use windows update for drivers when it comes to computer games. Windows does not provide the proper drivers. They are always generic drivers which do not work right on games. Sometimes in certain games they are use able but that is rare. It is always a good idea to get the drivers from the manufacturer of the hardware. As for the OP you might want to provide more detailed info. Did the game window come up, or did you click play on the launcher and it went away and then nothing else happened? There is just not enough info for anyone to help you properly.

You might want to re-read what the OP wrote. He never said he got Shae from a quest. He said he got her from the promo a week or two ago. He said he lost her after doing a SOR quest that has Shae in it. This is likely just a bug, I have had he same thing happen to me with other comps. OP as was stated above already, make sure you choose the right category when submitting a ticket. It makes a big difference on the type of response and response times. Be patient, it can take time as was also previously stated. They don't have hundreds of folks answering tickets.

You throw that word out like there is a trial and someone is in danger of being convicted. No one needs to provide "proof" as you say. It is obvious you either do not know how to play your class or you are just an angry and unhappy person who just needs to rant at changes to the class you do not like. Not sure what is going on here, but there is nothing so wrong with the sage classes that make it hard to do those heroics.

I am sorry but why would you need any of that just to be able to run a simple H2? If you can't just play and figure it out on your own then maybe you should try another game. It is not that difficult. Those H2's have been around long enough that you do not need max gear to do them. You could be in junk 228 gear and still have no problems.

You can't be serious. Is this a troll post? You do know that you do not have to level your companions right. Not to mention there are so many companions to choose from that you can still have 8 max comps for crafting and your under powered ones too! If you need a challenge then dismiss your comp or uncheck some of their abilities!

I would look for a different guide. That one is outdated and somewhat inaccurate now. Shae Vizla has 2 or 3 gifts that will grant max influence per gift. Imp mem and Military Gear are the top 2 she likes the most. Just do a bit of experimenting with the cheap low rank gifts from the vendor on the fleet. You will see quickly enough how the system works!

This is incorrect! The vendors are always there. Some of the items require the Golden Certificates that you earn during the event. As long as you have the Certs then you can buy from the vendors!

Uninstalling the game is almost never the way to go. Just is not worth the time it takes to re download and update. There is always a fix.

Anyone else having issues with opening collections or the CM? It seams to be random. It is only affecting some of my toons. I click collections or the CM buttons and nothing happens. I submitted a ticket.

I wonder what causes this? I run Sec x all the time on most of my toons from both sides and this never happens to me.

An in game ticket is your best option.

It is just too easy to make credits in this game. Honestly an increase on gtn tax is not that big of a deal. The only folks who will be affected in any significant way are those that have yet to figure out how to make credits. Put in the time and level those crafters and companions. You will make more than enough credits for those high priced items in your wish list. If you do just a small amount of searching these forums you will find loads of ways to make credits and not care about gtn tax.

No it does not. The security key is an added layer of security...like a password. IT has NOTHING to do with why someone gets a one time password! The person I responded to says they get a one time password almost every single time they log in and they are under the belief it is because they do not use a security key. That is incorrect.

I have never used a security key and I rarely have the one time password deal. The security key feature has nothing to do with the one time password!

Where do you live? Typical DHCP lease times are 7 days sometimes a bit longer. I think the only thing fishy going on is from your end. This is an MMO, not a political office. Even if you pissed someone off they are not going to do something that causes you to need a one time password. IT's a game bro. I would have your ISP run some tests on your modem or maybe even just replace it.

^^^^ This right here, The simple truth is there are quite a few ways to easily make a TON of credits that just makes things like repair cost irrelevant. I have not looked at repair costs in a few years. If someone is actually watching repair costs to penny pinch then that person has not tried to earn credits or is just ignorant to all the different ways there are to make in game creds.

Just a little FYI. If you have the mats then you don't need to buy anything. Just craft them. The schematics come from the crafting trainers. Like the others said. If you can wait then wait till may.

It is just too easy to make credits in this game for folks to complain about repair costs. I tend to ignore those who always complain about repair costs. Crafting is a very good way to make creds and not have to do anything that requires repairs. It takes some commitment in the beginning, but it is well worth it.
