They are not talking about the HK solo mission where you get the Zoom comp. They are talking about the macro binocular mission.

One thing I have noticed about deconstructing is if you place the crafted item into the new materials only storage and deconstruct after they go in there, they will behave exactly how you described. In the past when it was RE I would get these same issues if I put them in my legy storage with the same items crafted by other toons and they got combined. Also some of the components that I craft then put in mats storage no longer give component kits when i take them out and deconstruct. Instead I get Jawa junk back.

Sounds like a Bitraider issue....google how to get rid of it and you should be good. I am sure most folks on here will tell you that it will be smooth sailing after that.

I can see what the OP is talking about. This is an issue with several different armor sets. It is not a graphics stetting just the way some armors are. The legs and boots mainly in this set do not dye the way it shows up in a preview window. It is a small difference but it is there. With that said I still very much like the set either way. I seriously doubt they will refund anything you purchase if nothing went wrong in the exchange.

You also may want to check other servers, If you have been away long enough then your credits may be on one of the other servers before the last server merges!

There needs to be a crew skill symbol next to each character name on the character selection screen that identifies which crew skill that character has. There looks to be enough room to list all 3. Does not need to be anything special, just the symbol of the skill.

It is not just you. I don't get them often, but when I do it is just like you described. The security key is the only answer to this problem right now. I am just not willing to have to deal with it so I don't use one.

Do the two computers use the same OS? Only reason I ask is because I have encountered a similar issue once before from doing the same thing. I always just copy the game folder after every patch or at least every few patches just so I have an updated back up. Anyway a year or two ago I went from xp to win7 and had no issues but my nephew was using windows10 and this happened to him from my backup. Now it turned out to just be a Bitraider issue cause he had just edited the config file and not removed it completely and my copy was completely Bitraider free. So...if you have no luck so far then you might want to bite the bullet and follow the good guides on how to completely remove it. It can cause issues if it is just turned off. I have even seen reports on here where it gets re enabled after or during a patch because of this. Just a thought, good luck!

I thought about that. I would normally assume this exactly, but only if it were on occasion. It is every single time now. I use my email for sms text and that has always gone through very quickly so I do not believe it is my email server. Anyway I don't really care since I choose to tolerate it just to avoid using the security key feature. Just not a game changer for me really!

I totally agree with the OTP. I will say the system needs some attention lately. When I first starting playing it took less than a minute to receive the OTP and use it. Now days it can take up to 5-7 minutes to get the email. On a few occasions it has even taken more than 10-15 mins and by that time it was expired and It took several different attempts with a different OTP to get logged in. Just to make this post I had to log in and it took 5 mins to get the OTP this time. Now i don't get them often and usually have no issues. I get the frustration behind some folks complaints in this situation, but I do also agree that all one needs to do is get the security key and that is the end of it. Personally I just don't want to bother with having to type in another password just to play a game. I have seen posts where people say they get one every time. If this is actually true then their issue is likely with their own ISP and not the game. It may also be that they are using a VPN to hide their IP for whatever reason. Not really sure about that since I don't personally use a VPN very often.

Did you disable or remove it? Cause just disabling it only works right about half the time. It can get re enabled during the patch. Best to remove it completely.

Instead of looking up how to improve download speed for the patch....look up how to PROPERLY remove Bitraider instead. This is more than likely the issue.

When you mail an item to a character on the same account it gets delivered instantly! There is no wait time for your legacy.

In my experience with this quest in the past, the one on TAT does not show up on the map until you get close to the cave. I just remembered where it was from seeing it while on a taxi once so never really thought about it not showing up on the map. I do remember last time this was active that the marker was not there until I got in the dune sea and was close to the cave.

I would have to agree with some of these folks about the lack of evidence on an exploit. It has been well known for as long as I have been playing (about 4 years give or take) that when the credit sellers lower their prices it means their demand has gotten slower. It makes perfect sense. They are having trouble getting rid of their merchandise as it were so they lower their prices to compete with each other. Not to sound like a broken record here, but it IS very easy to make 100's of millions legitimately these days with minimal effort in the long run. Once you put the time and effort in with crafting and leveling comps. You can spend less than an hour each day and make millions. I am currently at 500 mil atm and all I did was craft augments. I do not even farm mats anymore.

That error is not just a driver error. It is a compatibility specific error with the video card. That means driver, hardware or the slot the card plugs into. So I would double check the version of the pcie slot the card plugs into and the pcie version of the card itself. It could be as simple as that board not supporting your card fully and directx brings out the issues. Also it could just be a bios setting related to the graphics.

Other than that, I sell components. So many people try to make money on crafting, but the only real way to make money on crafting is with crits. The cost of the components for an Aug 48 are basically the same cost as getting the finished Augment. The crafters play the longer game, get the occasional crit that yields two, and double their investment every once in a while, but for the most part they are selling those items just to break even, or have deceived themselves into thinking they are making a profit from them because they gathered the components themselves and so they do not recognize the value of what is invested. You are mistaken. If you have level 50 comps on your crafters, they will yield plenty crits. I do not gather or farm anything and I make a lot of creds selling the augments. Each time I craft I get 2-3 crits. About 90% of the time anyway. It is very possible to make a ton of creds crafting. All it takes is a little invested time to level those comps. Make sure to purchase those character perks for crafting and watch the creds roll in.

Just craft and sell. Once you start making a few creds just level up those companions to improve on crits. Then craft more and sell. I have never played the Cartel Market game and I never drop below 300 mil. I buy what I want from the CM regardless of the price (unless it is something stupid like 200m) and then I craft more to sell. Right now one of the hot items are the 2 highest level augments. I would try the second to highest as it takes less mats to make and sells better imo. I don't even farm mats anymore. Once you get those comps up to 50 you will get enough crits to compensate for buying the mats.

After reading this it reminded me to update my game. I noticed the client 242 while it was patching but had no issues logging in. Gameplay is fine. I use Windows 7. Wonder if it is just a Windows 8 and 10 issue? Curious.

Do you use more than 1 email address. Perhaps you are checking the wrong one!

Then there should be something to force the recruitment messages into a different chat window. Maybe even a second chat box that is enabled by default when a new toon is made to show that recruitment goes there for new players. I just know it is worse than annoying to the point where I almost never have gent chat enabled. As far as the zoom option I mentioned, I do not believe there has ever been a feature to change that particular key binding. If there was meant to be then it has not worked for more than 4 years.

Not sure where this should go so I will just post it here First I want to start with chat windows. I think they need to make a channel separate from gen chat where recruitment can go. There is nothing worse than having a convo interrupted by guild recruitment and having to scroll up to see what was missed. Second is the zoom option with the preview window. If you do not have a scroll wheel on your mouse then there is no way to zoom in the preview window. With all the options you can change in this game how is it this important feature was overlooked. I would like to be able to change the default buttons for preview window zoom.
