  1. To realise how out of touch all this is it needs just one look at the tech fragments some minor bosses drop: 1. /haiku
  2. Youre right, especially because in 6.X most things were capped to 70. But with 7.0 thats a bit different... 14 x 300 augments mean + ~400 Endurance + ~400 Power and + ~300 tertiary stats. All in all ~1100 statpoints more than 75 purple augments.

Thats not the point. # I barely knew any player who could afford 14 x 1.5+ bn for OLD lvl 75 gold augments # nobody should need them, because with the new level cap there schould be new lvl 80(!) augments with proper lvl 80 stats - as mentioned before, augments make ~30% tertiary stats, without lvl 80 crafting/augments this is more broken than ever # with tendency to make some mats ultra rare to make players grind for them longer and longer, the devs are directly responsible for the ridiculous inflation in the GTN

  5. As it should be... Too many mechanics in this game work only aganinst melee (thats poor design btw not ranged classes fault), Previous to 7.0 sorcs pulled way more damaged as it should be, I have seen NiM groups way too often with only ranged classes, mostly 2-3 oft it sorcs.

  7. What? Don't know why this triggered you so much. First of all; If there is „zero difference“ between classes, than exists no classes at all. Second, I don't really get who do you consider an „elitist“? Third – you contradict yourself. If someone having fun playing after „their spreadsheets“ - so its their definition of fun. Why is their fun „bad“ and your fun is how it should be? This isn't the discussion youre looking for.   8. Yeah, but thats a delicate point. If youre playing your class very good - and see how other play their class just ok and outperform you by a mile... thats no fun. And to be fair the OP has some point - Carnage underperform horribly and Arsenal/IO Merc are also in a very poor spot right now. Snipers maybe too. And we didn't talk about just minor differences... if two Carnage Maras do the same damage as almost one Fury.
  9. One of his last conclusions were, that Anni/Wachtmen Sents/Maras are so op, if stacked, they could replace a healer. So yeah... The whole new numbers are imo flawed by deffault, because there is no level 80 crafting. No new stims, medpacks and augments. Keep in mind that ~30% tertiary stats came from those on 75. Now its far less. Also a lot auf endurance and power stats are simply missing.
  10. There could be a simple solution to this; 8 Weapon Slots ( 2 Blaster, 1 Blaster, Sniperrifle, Aussault Canon, Rifle, 1 Lightsaber, 2 Lightsaber, Doubleblade) . Each time an outfit is activatet the Weapon-Slot that is your actual playstyle get activated.

  12. For me in 6.0 there was a huge variety of options and the fun testing it. If I take my mara, that were... * played for the set-bonus (fearless descendent) * optimizing this set B-2 mods, amps, augments, tacticals * made a another set testing the 1.3 GCD * made a new set for level 70er capped content, with defense and other optimized stats * tried another mara spec, retuned amps, tweaked stats * tried mixed amplifiers ... and so on. Its true, that getting 306 gear wasn't that hard or take too long. But if you had fun in exploring a class, shifting things arround, testing new ideas or stats... you almost had an infinite amount of possibilities. You could tweak your toon in many different ways and for this you could always need some thing you searched for... often tiny things like a mod (nothing „amazing“), but that makes it interessting. And if youre done with one class, you could try the some with another one. Sure you could ignore all that but than again you couldn't complain. It was on you. Now you get one piece of staticgear. Thats it. Once you have, its over. There is no point playing for the same piece over and over again. There is nothing to tweak or change. Its not rewarding. Its not fun, its outright boring. But for 7.o thats the „big“ reward. Gear you had before and that was much superior. For content you played before a thousand times. 7.o is a „less“ in everything.
  13. Because "gear" is the only reward you can get, all other rewards are simply trash. Many players criticised the new "7.0 - gear as a reward" approach from the devs... but now its the players fault? Again, you're a troll.
  14. Just logged in and couldn't search for old shiny stuff in the GTN. Is this a new method to fight inflation?

  16. Yeah, but they take away some tacticals so its even and not an expansion anymore? In fact this so called "expansion" has taken more things away than added. Funny - FF14 is 10 years and its thriving more than ever.
  17. What rush? I play(ed) Dot Sin, Operative, Mara, Sin Tank, PT Tank & IO Merc. That makes 6 x 13.000 techs (78.000!!!) to get my old set bonus back. You find that amount reasonable? Upgrading all of them to 330 would be another 156.000 techs. Let alone classes like Merc Heal, Op Heal, Jugg Tank, Jugg, Sorc, Sorc Heal that would make another 78.000 + 156.000 techs. How long should a play for that? 3 Years? 4 Years? The "old" setbonus was 6 x 3500 techs (=21.000) to max out. With drops from renown + conquest crates and Kay Zykken even less. They trippled that for a setbonus I already had. And they clearly miscalculated the way techs could be earned. In 6.0 every boss drop 3-5 pieces of gear you could desintegrate. The amount of techs after an Operation or Flashpoint was ~500+ tech fragments. Now you have one drop of gear/boss. So the new system gives you ~20 (+150) tech fragments. If you want to ruin the gearing system and making people quit (and stop playing alts)... search no longer, this is the way to do it.
  18. Not just that, because there is no level 80 crafting at the moment, you'll have to use * OLD Level 75 augments * OLD Level 75 medpacks * OLD Level 75 stims etc. None of them align with the new level 80 stats. Thats another huge nerf.

  20. You mean Nefra farming 24/7 with different twinks is exciting and the game as it should be played to get gear?
  21. Its intended. Since this gear now can be unlocked in collections (so you could replicate it infinite) its stripped of all credit value.
