  1. Don't know what youre talking about. Level sync was put in place to keep old planets relevant for endgame stuff (heroics). Story leveling is something completely different. To fix this BW could everytime reduce the XP you'll get... but they did exactly the opposite. With 4.0 they massively increased XP to get players faster in Kotfe/Kotet.
  2. Oh, so if my relic works on the fleet, but if I'm doing some heroics on Tatooine it doesn't work at all - this is not a problem of level sync? Because I was told so "I doesnt workt because of level sync". It bothers me, bc I upgraded a relic that now doesn't work in <80 content. :/
  3. I've started some new twinks recently, doing the starter planets and found plenty of those plans.
  4. To be fair, LoS was released February 15th 2022... so it's around for ~6 month & 3 Weeks, but I can see your point.
  5. Aside that this number is out of thin air, I would say that much more credits go into things like "gear", stims, medpacks - but especially augments which have become, due to inflation, nearly unaffordable for (new) players.
  6. Let me help you out... The same people who say this is one/best/better gearing system we had because players once again have to earn the gear, those people sell bis gear to players who don't have to do anything for it, exept to pay. It doesn't matter how many pieces they get or how much they spend on it. You can not have/do both. Thats hypocrisy.
  7. ... thats fine with me, you don't have to. But it won't change the facts and it won't change that tomorrow late afternoon the numbers will be the same over here.
  8. But if they buy it from a vendor they don't deserve it, right? Translation: If someone give you credits for gear/sales run, thats fine - He doesn't have to do anything else for his gear. But if the same someone give credits to a vendor to get BiS gear this is a bad gearing system, because he doesn't have to do anything else for his gear.
  9. At this point you sound like a broken record, everything you have no argument or you can't explain is a "git gud" thing. So we are now in a state of the game, where I have to play in a manner/league that groups will looking just for me, and only me, so that I can play things, the devs want me to play. Do you even realise how crazy this sounds? I really don't know in which bubble you live/play, but I may give you a short idea how things are looking from here, - it's now late afternoon and I have 2-3 hours time to play - logged into two guilds; members online - 1 (me) - players on the fleet: 36 (level 80: 16) - pop up for a MM FP: several hours - pop up for Vet FPs: ~20-25 minutes - players in R-4 OP: 0
  10. Your icecream has a little problem... I can make it alone. Nobody can do R4 alone. No matter how good you are - this all means nothing if you don't have a team(1) and most players in this team play at least decent(2). With more & more players leaving this is/will become a major problem. I personally don't think that "buying gear" is a real problem - bc just a tiny fraction of players will or can do that, so it doesn't bother me much. There are other things that are far worse.
  11. This will make a nice epitaph for swtor. Gear as a reward is an outdatet concept as some others have already pointed out. Especially if there is just the same old content to play with it. I know the devs don't believe it. You probably won't either. And this is why the playerbase now hits everyday a new low. Remember that.
  12. But this isnt a fix, not in any kind or form. Inflation is a problem of value not numbers. Sure you can go and make every 100 a 10 if you wish. If you feel more comfortable with smaler numbers... go ahead. But nothing will change (it would probably easyer to remove all credit caps in the game, its essentially the same but in the opposite direction). Btw a server merge has a lot of benefits because there are more players on one place. For sure, this will erode over time... but it helps more but pure cosmetic. So your analogy isnt the best one.
  13. The point was; these are just numbers and reducing them would not change so much. Even if Thanos snaps 50% of the population out of existence - earth population whould be like ~1975. He buys just some years before things are the same. All the things Thanos does.. at the end they make a difference of barely 50 years. Thanos obviously wasnt very good doing the maths. In SWTOR it would be maybe 1-2 years, inflation would stay at the same high and things would spiral further out of control.
  14. This wouldn't change a thing. The poorest fella in the game would stay the poorest and the richest would stay the richest.
  15. Maybe you should try with an arsenal merc, 320er green gear without augs and lvl 25 companion....
  16. It seems to me that such decorations are often not made with specific intentions how and where to place them. Its more like if the devs/designerns design a new planet they single out a few simple decorations. Those decorations are more some kind of leftovers I think. They build Manaan - so now you can get some of the deco stuff they have used for it.
  17. personally I don't need a new stronghold - I have already 11, and this are already ~8 more than I regularly use. What I really want at this point is an increased deco/usable hook limit.
  18. The only real solution is, that they roll out level 80 crafting - as promised. It's really insulting that we don't have new stims or augments in line with lvl 80 stats. Even worse is the situation with medpacks - at level 70 they healed you ~35-45%, at 75 it was down to ~20-25% - and now it is down to 15% what is a bad joke given the incoming damage.
  19. There are many more flashpoints available on the fleet (including the SoR FPs) ... you just have to go to the entrance and take the Solo/story mode quest.
  20. You're wrong about both. I don't want BiS Gear because a) to play one thing over and over again its a bit too braindead for me b) my raid team which played the harder stuff left the game, so I would have too little use for that. I do occasionally some HM but mostly in 330 and its fine for me. But in my former raid team(s) the better players could carry and help the weaker ones, this helped us all to grow & improve. Without BiS Gear (and pruned classes, no more viable classes etc) this was no longer the case. First this players left - and than the rest. So if you can do a HM OP alone or only with players that are as skilled as you or better your argument may be valid - in all others cases it's not.
