  1. The number of people in this thread that don't know what "maintenance mode" means is stunning.
  2. So Kaliyo used to be able to use a pistol. In fact, all her appearances in cutscenes used to assume that she was using a pistol. If you give her a rifle, these cutscenes are broken, and she likes to point her empty hand at people. Now, Kaliyo is crazy, don't get me wrong, but I don't think she's crazy enough to face down a bounty hunter by pointing an imaginary pistol at them while her rifle remains slung on her back. I realize this only affects agents, and only a few cut-scenes regardless, but it's pretty annoying. I like to record my playthroughs for posterity, and at present, Kaliyo bugs are holding me up from recording two different storylines. (this, and my Jedi Knight Outlander) Either Kaliyo needs to be a pistol wielder, or they need to fix her old cutscenes. Edit: Whoops, this was meant to be in the bug report forum.
  3. I would really like to know if there is any intent to fix this at some point. Kaliyo is currently ruining all my playthrough recordings.
  4. I suspect that this is working as intended. I don't think you're meant to be able to claim from collections items that you buy off the rep vendor. It used to be that the option to unlock didn't even show up, but now that the new packs have a chance to drop sets previously only available by rep vendor, they have to put the button on there for those that get it that way, and the UI doesn't actually support the distinction between rep-vendor-bought and pack-unlockd items. Mind you, I think you -should- be able to unlock them, but I don't believe it's intended for you to be able to.
  5. Adding my voice to the HK customization woes. I use a different customization on each of my characters, and imagine that they're actually each different droids. Almost all of those customizations are gone: My consular had the Selkath customization, which is irreplacable now that I've already done those missions. My warrior had the camo customization from the Yavin rep. My smuggler had the Hutt customization from the casino, which is a heartbreaking loss after the grinding for tokens I had to do on those damn slot machines. My Bounty Hunter had....(snif) BH-7X....AND HE"S GOOONNNEEEE!!!! (Sobs openly) I also have a Trooper who I'm -mostly- sure had equipped the Advanced Recon cuztomization. The following characters still have their customizations: My knight still has the Recon customization, which Ironically would have been the only one that would be easy to replace, since it's in collections. My Trooper has the Republic Assault customization. As near as I can tell, the only customizations that vanished are the ones that were equipped at the time. I have not been able to find any other characters that suffer from this issue. Everybody else I have that had a customization appears to still have it. This includes various customizations for Khem Val, Kira Carsen, Nadia Grell, 2V-R8, C2-N2, M1-4X, and T7-01. I didn't have any Treek customizations on anybody at the time. I pulled the HK recon custom out of my collections, and equipped it on the character that lost hers, and logged off and back on, summoned and unsummoned him a few times, but nothing seemed to happen. I hope that whatever fix is involved in this gives us back the lost customs. The Recon and Yavin customs are no big, because they're fairly easy to replace, but the BH-7X and the Hutt customization represent a lot of sunk time, and the Selkath customization we currently have no way to replace.
  6. Most likely He'll work the way Nico, or the classic companions do. If you summon him before his part in the story arrives, his presence is "unofficial" to the story.
  7. Whahahat? Have you even been reading the posts? YES, Nico was exclusive. YES, HK will also be exclusive.
  8. In all fairness, trends in a guild of likeminded people don't necessarily reflect the attitudes of players as a whole. Also you mentioned that the guilds are partially populated by alts, which means the effects of one player unsubbing are amplified in your example. Attitudes may vary by server as well. The issue is definitely divisive Personally, I would say that if subs are taking a hit over this, then people are seriously overreacting, but Bioware is in a much better position to gauge that situation.
  9. You don't actually know what the phrase "pay 2 win" actually means, do you?
  10. Nico is NOT RECRUTABLE if you weren't subbed. His alliance alert never comes up. The idea that anybody can recruit him is false hearsay started by people who misunderstood the purpose of the holocommunicator, and It has been perpetuated by the fact that people who qualified for him have no way of directly checking what it's like for those who don't.
  11. Okay, seriously, unless the devs literally came up to you and physically struck you, I cannot express how much your overbearing hyperbole makes me not give a crap about anything you say. (hmmm...except I suppose I just did.) They're giving us an extra thing for staying subbed. That is not a "slap in the face", it's a sub incentive. I've been in games with entrenched veteran rewards programs, BTW, and I can take or leave them. They become unweildy within a couple of years anyway.
  12. I'd like to see customization options for Akk dog companions that give them different pallettes. For example, my knight has had a "Haggnofarl" Akk pup non-combat pet with grey skin and red eyes, it'd be great if the Akk Dog companion could be customized to match.
  13. They could also have an Item that is an actual pulled down hood that attaches at the shoulders, maybe, but yes, I support this notion. This could also work as a fix for Vette's stubborn shock collar.
