Same as everyone else has said just play immortal spec for pvp.

The main reason you're seeing endless groups of sorc heals and also immortal juggs for that matter is that they were both left in the dust when it came to DPS specs. Until that changes smart players will just play those specs.

Who really enjoyed gearing at a reasonable rate and playing alts? I prefer getting the same gear piece 5 times in a row and never being able to gear more than 1-2 of my alts without spending my entire life online

Sorc is in a terrible place in general for anything but healing. I'd strongly suggest switching to heals or playing a merc or sniper.
