2020 and the bug is still there! I had to double check that I was logged into the right character when I received that mail, but I am glad to see it was just a bug. I find it disturbing that they didn`t fix this after all these years though

Walked into the safehouse on Rishii to find the double NPC bug. I had two versions of Satele Shan, two Darth Marr etc, and my BH says "Please tell me this means I just doubled my customer base" Not really a funny comment, but with the bug it was hilarious

I always turn the turrets to aim at the Revanite ships instead of the other faction's ships during the battle of Rishii. You are there to stop the Revanites. It makes no sense to take out the other faction's ship instead. At least not to me

Reading comprehension has nothing to do with this, and I would say that bashing every flirt option just because its there is what is mindless. I have never picked ALL the flirt options in any part of the game because it often makes my character say or do things out of character. Despite of this I have been able to marry several vanilla companions, so I thought that I could keep choosing which flirt options I wanted to take in KOTFE. I did pick the "i want to talk to one of you" flirt option in the cantina, but I did not pick the flirt option in the private room afterwards. If I had known that this was the end of the romance if I didn't pick it, I would have picked it, even if it was out of character. But I didn't, and now I can never go back. My second character that I ran through KOTFE was hit by the bug that resets romances if you don't lock it in before a patch, so I have two characters who lost out of their romance lock, neither of them because I misunderstood the phrasing in the cantina. All we are asking is for another option to lock in a romance if you didn't know which option to pick, or was hit by the patch bug. Is this really too much to ask?

Most likely there was a patch between the time you started chapter 1 and the time you finished chapter 9. To keep the romance, make sure there is no planned maintenance preventing you from doing all 9 chapters without the servers going down in the middle of it. Also, the camera will be pointing at Theron in the cantina, but you need to pick the flirt option anyway to be able to talk to Lana. I don't think this was your mistake though, but some have misunderstood this part in the past. Good luck!

No, the bug has not been fixed, but you can safely log out during chapters 1-9. Just make sure you finish chapter 9 before the new chapter is released, because every chapter resets romance flags unless they are locked in, something that doesn't happen until chapter 9.

I don't know what you are asking anymore. When you first meet Theron in chapter 9, he have found your ship. Did you flirt with him in that scene? And still couldn't flirt with him in the cantina scene? That has to be another problem than the flags being reset between chapters, because my SW who lost his Lana flag is still able to flirt with Theron in the cantina as long as he picks the flirt option on the landing pad.

Resetting chapter 9 gave me the option to romance Theron, and only Theron, because you get flagged for the romance in the same chapter as the cantina scene.

I don't understand this either. A simple "we are aware of this bug and working on a solution" would go a long way. I am keeping the screenshot I have of that character kissing Lana in the cantina, so I can provide evidence that I had the option before but lost it after a game update. Simply because I am afraid they'll just give us the usual "there is no bug, you just didn't chose the right options" reply.

I doubt you'll get anywhere with your ticket tbh. I submitted one too, asking for the flag to be reset (I didn't finish the chapter), but I got a reply asking me to create a bug report, because there was nothing they could do

If you didn't complete the chapter you should be able to reset it, but then you'll only be able to romance Theron as he has a flirt option in that chapter. Picking that will flag a new romance for you with Theron, and you can flirt with him in the cantina scene. As more chapters keeps coming out, more people will get affected, and hopefully one day they will acknowledge this bug and perhaps even fix it

Did you start KOTFE before 4.3 and reached the cantina scene after 4.3? In that case your romance flags were reset, as you can see in this thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=875543 Apparently every time they launch a new chapter, all KOTFE romance flags are removed, so unless you locked a romance in, you are out of luck

I can confirm that this is a bug that happens if you start the chapters 1-8 before a patch, and finish chapter 9 after said patch. The romance flags seems to get reset. Good news for the original poster though: There is a flirt option in chapter 9, as that's when Theron first appears in KOTFE, so if he's the one you want to romance, resetting chapter 9 should do the trick (as long as you pick that flirt option of course). The rest of us who wanted to romance Lana or Koth are sadly out of luck

I submitted an in game ticket to have my character re flagged as romancing Lana. I wish they would at least confirm that they knew about this bug.

I can confirm that this is in fact a recent bug. Prior to 4.1 I had the "I need to speak to one of you" flirt option, and I could pick between Koth, Lana or Theron. I know this, because I picked them all in turn the see the dialogue. I didn't lock in any of the romances though, and I didn't go back to the cantina until after 4.1 hit. After 4.1I can't pick any of them at all. If I chose the flirt "I need to speak to one of you" option, my character says "Theron, do you have a moment?". This would be ok if I was going to romance Theron, but I was trying to romance Lana....

The entire cantina part of chapter XI was bizarre imo. You are told to go there, you sit down, Nico sits down, and you are told by Scorpio to come back to the war room. Was something supposed to happen in that cutscene? I'm wondering if the missing Nico bug is actually affecting that scene as well, and Nico was in fact supposed to say or do something?

My male agent who didn't romance Keliyo pre KOTFE didn't get any flirt options either. So either you need to be male agent who romanced her in the original story or any other class and gender to be able to flirt with her.

It's hard to make out, but if you look closely, it looks like she has the same customization there, right?

Just an update. I tried to reset the quest, and now I only get to flirt with Theron as well. This is NOT because I don't understand the options. I have completed this mission on several characters and flirted with Theron, Lana and Koth in this scene, but now what happens when I pick the "I need to speak to one of you (flirt)" option, my character says "Theron, do you have a moment?" I guess I need to settle for Theron after all. I was going to lock in a romance with Lana on this particular character, but apparently not

It looks like you can continue romances with old companions, but not start one. I say this because my IA who didn't romance Kaliyo before KOTFE was unable to even flirt with her during chapter X. My trooper on the other hand could flirt with her, but not lock in the romance.

I had to go back and check screen shots, because I didn't really pay attention to this, but I can confirm that for my IA, Kaliyo kept her customization throughout KOTFE. I compared vanilla screenshots to KOTFE screenshots, and she looks identical (except for the outfit). The picture of her in the teaser with the tatoos down her chin does not match my Kaliyo.

Something was broken in patch 4.1 or 4.1a for sure. Before the patch I had the flirt option "i need to speak to one of you". I hit escape and didn't complete the mission. I went back yesterday, and the flirt option was gone. Now there are no options at all, actually. My character just says "I need to speak to one of you" and I can pick between the three companions. No flirt options in the private room in the cantina either. This is not class related, as I am also SW, like the person above who could complete this mission after 4.1. and lock in a romance. TL;DR: Before patch I could pick flirt option, but didn't finish mission. After patch, the option is gone. Same character.

This exact thing happened to me as well on Sunday. No more class missions in my log after finishing Nar Shadaa on my inq. I created a ticket, but the last time I got stuck on a mission like this (ziost monlith mission bug) it took them a month to reset it, and they even granted me the wrong mission, so I'm not holding my breath.
