  1. @Nitro: Thanks for the info I'll be creating the character on BC (RP). They're going to be non-rateds. Yeah, there will a mix of finder groups but the wait times aren't a factor for me. No. I don't have any preference but I usually tend favor defensive play styles.
  2. Hey, all. I'm wondering if there's a class(es) which uses the same spec/build for both PvP and PvE? I'd like to avoid re-specializing. Also, I mostly solo queue at the moment should that make a difference and I don't have any role (dps/healing) preferences either. Thanks.
  3. Hey, again. I'm still in the same predicament and would like some advice on the matter still. Appreciate it.
  4. Hello, all. My first character is a sentinel and I reached level 55 a couple of weeks ago. I'm considering getting Treek since I solo quite a bit. I know it has been asked several times whether acquiring Treek is significant enough to warrant obtaining the ewok but I'd like to get my own class's perspective of the companion. Here's some information about my jedi: -She's a Watchman. -All gear is at least level 53 artifact quality no augs except for sabers which are custom-orange ones with the same gear level (156) and they do have augs. -She currently uses Doc for a companion but he's poorly geared in greens and blues. Right now I'm having a tough time soloing non-heroic dailies in places like Oricon and CZ-198. I'm hoping Treek might help with this. If it'll make a difference, what's the optimal way to use Treek for our class?...Healer or tank? Is the gearing straight forward like healing gear for heals and tanking equipment for tanking or is it the opposite like tanking gear for healing to make her durable when she pulls agro? On a tangent, I leveled 1-55 as Watchman with PvE FP/Ops in mind but is it optimal for solo questing dailies and farming or would one of the other trees be better for it? Thanks!
  5. Nice, this answers all my questions and then some. Appreciate all the responses and info...thanks again!
  6. First post greets to all! I decided to try this game a couple months ago. I really wanted to create a twi'lek as my first character and was disappointed to find they were only available to subs as a starting option. I had heard good things about the game so a decided to sub temporarily to level my twi'lek. Glad I did as it has been fun. My character is drawing close to the level cap and I think the end of next month with be my stopping point for my sub. I've searched here and other communities in what to do for preparation of the change and have gathered it involves investing whatever one can into CM unlocks while making due with the loss of some features/accessibility for the rest. Yet despite my searching, there are still a few questions I have about it: For those swtor veterans who have gone through the process or just know, is there anything I should make sure to do now in-game while I'm still a sub that I might not be able to do later or as easily? For example, I've maxed my crew skills. If I create alts whose races are not part of the non-sub options, will they become inactive or will I have access to them since they were created while under being a sub? Lastly for the recommended CM unlocks, I've noticed some have two disclaimers saying "can be purchased for this character" and "can be purchased for this account" (which I assume is for all characters?). I'd like to know if it has these two options, is it automatically account-wide or is there a different price to buy the account-wide option because I'm not seeing a different price for the account-wide option? Thanks and I'd be interested in hearing any other advice.
