This. The game's PVP reward system -is flipping horrible-. There is no incentive to stay in a match you are losing, ESPECIALLY if you're getting farmed. Might as well leave and hope it douches over the opposing team's win count.

nothing, because the commendation system in this game is terrible? Level 50 PVP is either Farm or Get farmed. Thats your only choices. edit: on that note, no wonder people kill trade all the time, i can totally see why they would

A friend and I literally walked into one of the Republic bases on Tatooine and started blasting every republic we saw, and the guards barely reacted... we CC'd the one single guard that attacked us, and continued our killing spree... I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but we were able to siege the Republic Outpost in the Dune Sea on Tatooine, literally from the inside, without attracting any attention from the guards... and anytime we DID die, it was only a 30 second respawn, no guard agro, and we could heal up and continue our slaughter. I started to become curious if this was an illegal action because it felt sort of... exploitish? So I wanted to report it on the forums and see if this was intentional or not? I mean, the guards ARE targetable and with a sizable operation group you could theoretically kill all the guards and siege the base for hours if you wanted. Thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated. Developer/Moderator feedback would also be appreciated so I know if this is an acceptable action on PVP servers or if I should refrain from repeating it, as I see nowhere inparticular any rules against it, but I'd hate to be banned or something so silly as PVPing on a PVP server because we were accidently exploiting a bug or something without realizing it. Anycase, thank you for your time.

The [Heroic 4] Mission on Belsavis, "Lights Out" currently seems to have a bugged reward for Sith Inquisitor Companions. Image of Screenshot Clippings comparing Andronikos' Blaster, Talos' Blaster and Ashara's Lightsaber Andronikos Revel's Prototype Masterwork Blaster cannot be dual wielded, despite Andronikos being able to dual wield. Talos Drellik's Prototype Masterwork Blaster can be dual wielded, despite Talos being unable to dual wield. Ashara's Prototype Masterwork Lightsaber can be dual wielded, and Ashara can successfully dual wield these lightsabers. These weapons are all restricted to their namesake and thusly cannot be traded between companions. A swift resolution to this issue would be appreciated. Thank you.

I agree with this. As a Sith Inquisitor, I am currently Dark IV and spent several hours crafting a purple quality Blue and a purple quality Green, both with +14 Crit for Ashara after buying her 2 Modifiable lightsabers from Taris commendations. I was EXTREMELY disappointed to find out that I cannot put the crystals into the lightsabers to give to my NEUTRAL (their alignments are 0!) companions. This makes absolutely no sense. I understand being restricted from EQUIPPING the lightsaber once it has the crystals in them, but why am I completely unable to socket the crystals into the lightsaber? Am I physically INCAPABLE of touching a blue crystal just because I follow the Dark Side? It makes absolutely no sense. What if I want Andronikos to use green blaster bolts? I'm not allowed to do that because my Sith Inquisitor is naughty? That makes absolutely no sense.

Every now and then I'll notice the "Your companion wants to talk in private/on your ship." icons while I'm idling on the fleet or questing. However, when I head to the Cantina or back to my ship, no one wants to talk. This is getting frustrating as it's becoming hard to tell when one of my companions actually DOES have something they want to talk about. Does anyone else experience this? I looked through the bug forum but didn't notice any threads on the first 5 pages, so I figured I'd ask in General first.

So because you abused something, everyone else should suffer? What about those of us that were playing normally with slicing? I personally have slicing on 1 character and used it to fund my cybertech instead of having to spend copious amounts of cash sending crew members on missions that might not even return with what I need. Slicing gave me a reliable way to purchase what I needed, when I needed it. Now I fail to see why anyone would want slicing, because it seems completely pointless now.

I'm curious, why? There doesn't seem to be any benefit to it anymore. You can't control what kind of augments you get from augment missions, you can't control the type of schematics you get from crits, you can't even control if you get schematics period. You might as well just go get a real gathering profession now so you have something reliable and just buy all the augments you want off the GTN because everyone will be selling them because they never get the ones they want. (Assuming they don't just vendor them cause the GTN is a horrible mess)

No chat bug fix, 0/10 in my books. Here's hoping for a hotfix addition soon.

A work-around is nice, but a persistent problem is still a problem. We want to know what is causing the issue, what is being done to fix it, anything, even a relative time-frame for a fix might be nice. You can scratch a rash to fix the itch, but that doesn't make the rash go away.

I am extremely disappointed with the fact there is no word about this anywhere. Not a single thing. It's almost like the bug has infected my forum posts, no one can actually read them, they're just invisible lost text that never reaches the eyes of the devs. Give us something, so we know what to tell our friends. It's ridiculous trying to run a guild and I can't even speak to them.

I enjoyed playing my Sith Sorcerer because I got into the early access fairly early and got to warzone/pvp with other players of equal level for quite a number of days, of course you did get the odd level 30 or 40 here and there who speed leveled just for the sheer purpose of being able to rollface in pvp. but now that more and more people are getting to 30, 40, even 50, I cannot even play my new Sith Marauder without feeling completely helpless in warzones. It's exceptionally obvious how unbalanced this becomes when even with bolster at level 15, I am unable to even do half a Bounty Hunter Mercenary's health because he can spam cheap-heat tracer rockets, then rapid scan, healing scan back to full, and then just spam more rockets. It's not a class problem, I'm fairly positive of this, because I've seen plenty of powerful Sentinels and Marauders in Warzones, open world, and so on. And it's not like Mercs and (whatever the commando equiv. is) are invincible or anything. It's just hard to believe that just because of a few dozen talents, that player has a distinct advantage over me, when I've barely even learned Sprint. It's tons of fun when I end up in a warzone of fairly balanced level ranges, 11s to 20s, the challenge is exciting and I feel like I get a well balanced set of kills and deaths. However, whenever I find myself facing groups of 3-4 level 40+ players, I find myself constantly locked in the spawn zone, hell a few times I've been warned that I'd be kicked out of the game because I didn't leave the spawn long enough/fast enough because I died nearly instantly after walking out of it to a level 48 Powertech. tl;dr - Extremely high level players with extra talents, abilities, and possibly ability ranks (not sure how ranking up works for warzone bolster) bring great amounts of frustration to lower level players who are trying to enjoy warzones.

I read this and laughed, hard. Gear for willpower and power then, stop crying that other people play your class better than you.
