As far as I'm aware, it's tuned for around 240s? Dread Guards is a fight that can be very heavy on healing if the mechanics aren't done well or if your DPS is quite low. It's very easy to take tons and tons of damage... It's hard to say what exactly was happening without seeing it but, 252 geared is over geared for nim (the only nim tuned for >248 would be gods) So it's likely due to mechanics/group taking unnecessary damage.

Not necessarily.. a lot of the recent tuning has made spike damage what you need to mitigate and the problem with mitigating that through mitigation, whether it's shield or defense, is the consistency... the best way to consistently mitigate 100k hits is to have 130k hp... Basically, imo, the gear drops are worthless (minus the set bonus and perhaps enhancements but I only use set bonus), and you need to get B mods crafted. You can also look into dps relics since most of the tank relics make very very little difference in overall mitigation but dps relics can add 5k+ hp all the time plus add damage and threat output.

I've used this excuse honestly... a few times. There are times my guild needs a sub for something and frankly that's more important to me than a pug I was in. If i'm bailing for other reasons, I will either state them or my go to excuses are my goldfish drown I need to go call his family, or my cats just started herself on fire, I need to go deal with it. The more ya know.

Well I agree with your general idea... I was just bored and figure people needed to know not to go outside without shelter in very cold climates. Living is hard sometimes.

If you lived in an area far enough north you would need shelter before water... You can freeze to death in hours in lots of places. :-)

Your better off buying packs off GTN hoping for CM certs... The nerf was super hard on CM certs and everything else pretty much **** as well.

It was not an exaggeration... I guess my luck is just that much worse than yours. I rarely ever pug but when I do, it gets ninja'd. I don't keep count but a guesstimate would be out of 20 or so pugs in the last month or two.. probably only 3ish didn't get ninja'd.. I just don't even run them anymore because of it, I only run with people I know now. Sucks because I used to enjoy pugging.. but my luck in 4.0 has led me to believe the normal now is ninja looting.. So maybe your right, pug away folks.. but if your as unlucky as me you'll wind up with a bunch of BS, not win anything because your rolls are trash everytime except for the first piece (i have about 15-20 belts and 15-20 bracers spread out on my toons..), and wind up with a ninja taking one piece plus the last and possibly all the DMCs! Funnnn stuff!! we need some new ops...

Yea, the cap is 4.2something like dude said... I've seen a few with 1-3 billion.. I'm at 240mil atm not counting alts, just my bank toon.. alts have between 1-5mil at any time, some are broke though... if I didn't spend like a madman i'de be between 500-750mil Credits are made out of thin air, so, not that hard..

He was 1 out of 8... I've undermanned and solo healed and such and such many times... But... i've also wiped in them far more than I should have (in 4.0...) because I tried pugging it and wound up in an absolute **** group.. it happens. As to OP... we can all dream my friend... but we know damn well what will happen............ yea, thats right, nothing... at all... the end.

The mods were yes, but not the shells.. at least I think thats what he's looking for... the cosmetic of the Dread Forged gear..? And AFAIK there isn't anything craftable or even obtainable with the exact cosmetic look of the Dread Forged shells.. but I may be wrong, it's happened before! (once... and it wasn't my fault...)

I'm not able to look at my numbers right now but I'm pretty sure my sorcerer in 224 gear is at 43% critical and 13% alacrity. 1440 and 1350 rating or some ****... that's what I've found works best.. I don't augment power at all, ever.. honestly as as orc the only thing power will really help with is your static barriers absorb amount since it's based off bonus healing.
