  1. We really need an answer to this. Bug or working as intended? As it stands, it just adds another step to this VERY long grind, as there is no point in using 252 armorings until we have 6 pieces....
  2. Same for me. I really hope this is a bug. Otherwise there is no point in using 252 armorings until I get 6 pieces.
  3. Added to this, currently, the set bonus on 252/258 gear doesn't work with the set bonus on 248 and previous gear. So there's really no point in using 252 gear until I get 6 pieces. Working as intended?
  4. Wow! Thank you for listening to player suggestions! I think these changes are a very good compromise. My heart isn't feeling so heavy from the impending death of the spec I love Very very cool of you guys.
  5. I second this post. Please reconsider your proposed changes. You are effectively killing the class I have played since launch. This is not hyperbole. It is glaringly obvious that whomever is in charge of these changes, has never learned how to properly play the spec. Also, we have this stat called alacrity. Since 2.0, it's been common knowledge that combat/carnage benefits from alacrity. Did your combat balance guy take this stat into account when he decided that only 2 strikes should fit into precision? Because like almost every player has already posted, we can currently fit 3 without clipping, with or without zen(which, along with alacrity, you seem to have forgotten exists). What you guys have stated for reasoning makes no sense and is not reflected in reality. While I agree that our AoE is a bit OP, this change will also turn our AoE into a wet noodle. Cyclone should be included but perhaps with a slight nerf to it's dmg.
  6. Just a perfect post. As a player of Combat spec since launch, I feel 100% the same way. Please devs, for the love of Combat/Carnage, please don't make our spec obsolete!!
  7. What frustrates me is that while Combat has good sustained on a dummy, it is usually not the case on op bosses that tend to be quite unfriendly to melee. I really just wish they'd leave it alone, or nerf AoE, and buff Conc AoE to make that the go to AoE spec. That way we'd go back to the old Watchman=sustained, Combat=burst, concentration= AoE
  8. Quoting this post in the hopes that the devs read it and seriously consider it's message.
  9. Probably just an oversight, but we can't RE them currently. Would be great if we could along with all the other 246 gear currently learn-able.
  10. I have a hard time believing this was intentional. If it really is, please take the words in this thread to heart. From the perspective of gearing, there is currently no incentive whatsoever to run NiM ops. It's a let down. It's not a difficult fix. Get rid of the blue 244s. Replace them with a guaranteed 246 drop(specific to classes currently in the OP), or as others stated, a token for gear, as SnV and TfB once had. We don't have to get 248 on every boss, but random 244 is unacceptable.
  11. A thread was created on general, so hopefully it garners the attention of the devs: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=919728 It would be nice to get an answer to whether this is a mistake or intentional.
  12. Hoping for a dev reply on this. Drops contradict previously posted loot tables. Not only are non-optimized 244 worse than 242s, the fact that it drops pieces for classes not in the group composition is a bit ridiculous, IMO
  13. If Harby is going to quit, I'd like to be first in line for all his stuff.
