if I remeber well, the update on tuesday was sheduled for 4 hours, and lasted 11 hours... this one is sheduled for 1.5 hours... hmm, let's say servers will be back up at 21:00 GMT... in the best case Worst case: they screw it up so much that they destroy the game once and for all and that SWTOR needs to be closed due to irreparable damage

There are 3 rules in PvP: 1.) Don't let those flamers and pseudo-veterans ( which, as already said, are incompetent in 99,9% of cases anyway) pull you down. Perhaps you like PvP but you don't know it yet 2.) Ask for advices, someone will help you for sure 3.) PRACTICE... I can't stress this enough: you only learn to pvp by practice...!!! But still: good luck and good hunt for that companion you look for

I've nearly all advanced classes ( except Mara/Sent) I use nearly all of them for PvE/Story and such, depending on my mood, but most of the time I'm in PvP anyway But what I'm really playing in 4.0 PvP right now: Vanguard Tank: My main and my favourite class/spec since I started this game two years ago ( was the first char I created)... Love it in PvP, hate it in PvE ^^ Most of the time I'm running around with my VG Marksmanship Sniper: Wanted to give it a try with 4.0, and I somehow like it. It's not the easiest thing to PvP as a sniper, but it's still fun. Used to play a commando heal, but with 4.0 you can really forget commando heal, sadly... Tried out my sage as heal, but found it too easy and totally boring, so I stopped playing healers.

Guardian/Jugger is quite a good choice, but VG/PT is too. It just depends on your playstyle... you can do quite well with both classes. It's correct that Jugg/Guardian have better buffs/skills for guarding people. But VG/PT Tank can be quite annoying too, but in a different way ( harpoon, oil slick etc.). You just need to know how to use your skills with it. In the end, it's up to you to choose your playstyle

okay, but then the healer needs ( as you said) to be CCed. and there we have the problem

on my server, guess who the DDs are attacking... right: the tank who is having a pocket healer next to him and practically they ignore the healer. I don't get it: can some people be that stupid? Or are they just doing it on purpose? most of the time, after 2 WZs, I'm just stopping, because then I'm so annoyed that it gives me a severe headache.

eins muss man den Entwicklern aber mit dem Patch lassen: das Quesh-Huttenball find ich ehrlich gesagt gut gelungen. in dem Punkt auf jeden Fall: weiter so!

/sign ich machs ähnlich, und momentan hast du beim Leveln nur 4 Möglichkeiten: -Planetenquests ( was dir spätestens beim 4. Char zum Halse raushängt) -normale Flashpoints ( wobei du je nach Zeit und Server wartest bis du alt und grau bist) -Kuat (=> imo die Effektivste, wobei dir nach einer Zeit beim Anblick vom Ladescreen für den FP schon schlecht wird weil du den FP nicht mehr sehen kannst) -PvP ( keinen Kommentar hierzu.........) wie mein Vorposter schon sagte: 1-2 taktische Lowlevel-FPs würden da gut tun

und noch eine Stufe tiefer und du bist im PvP Channel auf JKS... ähhhh ich meine im Niveaukeller *hust* jedenfalls hatte ich auch zuletzt ein Erlebnis der ganz seltsamen Art: Czerka Kernschmelze HC: 2 Gelehrten-DDs, ein Gelehrten-Heal ( alle 3 aus einer Gilde) und ich als Fronti-Tank. Die ersten Minuten klappte alles... Dann standen wir vor dem Wüstenboss ( mit dem Sandsturm u.s.w.). Als Tank musst du das Ding ja zum leuchtenden Fass ziehen ( k.A. wie ichs erklären soll, wer Kernschmelze HC kennt weiß was ich meine). Beim ersten Mal klappt es ja, Heilung kam auch an. Dann beim zweiten hätte es mich fast erwischt, weil ich keine Heilung mehr bekam und als ich ihn dann zum 3. Fass ziehen wollte, hats mich erwischt. Ich frag im Chat, was passiert war Dann entschuldigte sich ein Gelehrten DD: sein Heal-Kollege sei betrunken und ist sich übergeben gegangen... Healer kommt zurück, wir versuchen es nochmal. Klappt auch, wenn auch bisschen holprig. Wir kümmern uns dann um die Trashmobs, ging auch relativ einfach. Jetzt kam das Dschungelvieh. Funktionierte auch ganz gut. Auf dem Weg zu Vigilant dann bleibt der Healer plötzlich stehen und bewegt sich nicht mehr. Aber es war kein Disconnect. Wir warten 5 Minuten vor der Tür zu Vigilant. Dann meldet sich der Gelehrten-DD von eben im Chat: "Ich glaube mein Kollege schläft gerade seinen Rausch aus". kein Kommentar dazu............. leider muss ja an der Tür vor Vigilant jeder anklicken. Wir wollten den FP fertigbekommen und haben uns entschieden, den Kerl rauszuvoten. Einer von den beiden Gelehrten hat auf Healer umgespecct und wir haben Vigilant dann zu 3. gemacht. Ich hab ja schon viel seltsames in den FPs erlebt, aber das hier ist echt der Hammer Was lernen wir daraus: Never drink and heal!
