  1. Shameless bump, just wondering if anyone finds it a good idea, or can shed some (grounded) critical light on the idea.
  2. Actually, it's in the game code already. Apparently some CS employees accidently gave back the wrong crystals when people wrote a ticket about how they had lost their white crystal by accident. I recently ran into someone on The Progenitor who had it up, initially thinking my game was bugging out. Then I checked his equipment and he indeed had a Black-White crystal in his saber. Made a printscreen of it, but he ran out of reach just as my finger pressed down on the button, so I only had my preview window up http://a.disquscdn.com/uploads/mediaembed/images/745/6672/original.jpg?w=600&h
  3. It probably has to do with worktimes over there, people working on implementing patches on regular hours as they start. Yes, they probably implement patches on EU servers all the way from the US as well.
  4. That's not the destroyer variant, which you can most notibly see in it missing the red glowing wirework on the abs and some other amor parts being different. Also, it's not adaptable... ;D
  5. Hey guys, As has been suggested/asked many times already, a simple search for "hood toggle" on the forums returning plenty of results, the people would like a hood toggle. We've already been answered on several occassions it's technically not easy to make such a thing. Apparently because on armors there is not such property and value that would effect the actual hood, and adding it would apparently require a vast amount of reprogramming. I was thinking recently how much I would like for my Guardian to be able to properly put down the hood of his Battlelord chestpiece in his neck. Although I'm sure the development team has already thought extensively on the issue, I came up with a possible (quick and dirty) solution on how the hood toggle might become reality. We know of most robes there's a hood up and hood down version in the game's coding. My suggestion revolves around "pairing" these two appearances and link them, through coding, to a hood toggle button/slider/setting/whichever. The toggle itself would load the opposite paired up armor model and apply any potential dye that's been added upon activation, resulting in the desired effect. Of course I have no understanding of the game's architecture, but hope adding the scripting for this isn't impossible. If anything, I volunteer for dipping through the gamefiles and spending a vast amount of time linking the proper armor models up, just to show how much I would like to see this feature implemented. Please, let me know your thoughts and possible oversights I'm making on this. Ps. While we're at it, perhaps you can re-enable chatbubble activation through the .ini modification? I'll gladly take a hit in performance or unstable performance if I could just have chatbubbles.
  6. I just hope we'll finally get the Jedi Knight "Character Creation" armor as it's the only one still missing in the cartel market and I REALLY would like a Battlelord Armor set with the hood down. And yeah, I know we had the Valiant Jedi set as a replacement, but Sith Warriors als got both their trailer armor set AND character creation set.
  7. I would like the color to be fixed indeed, and while they're at it, finally fix the hyper space jump crash on several flashpoints as well. Now those are actually gamebreaking and have been around WAY longer then they should.
  8. As I said, I bought the items from the vendor via certificates + credits and have the unlock in my collections window via which I can distribute the set to my alts. Not sure if there's another collection window I'm not aware of?
  9. I've bought the entire set via contraband vendor and got the unlock (eventually) in my collection window. It took some time for the unlock to happen though (think days). Not sure why that was...
  10. Nope, the lore-armors (like Mira's armor you mentioned) have recently become dye-able in a patch. It's not a bug, so dye away
  11. Actually, crouching does make you immune to being leaped to. Try leaping to a scoundrel in PvP when he/she's crouching normally.
  12. It will always pump it up enough if you keep doing high enough lv missions for your companions. It probably goes even faster if you go back to those earlier planets and gather while your companions are away on missions.
  13. I support this thread, I want my Jedi knight in the character creation armor!
  14. The only work-around that has helped for me was to run the game in fullscreen mode and then alt+tab out of the game as soon as the hyperspace jump happens and wait for it to be gone before tabbing in again.
  15. The rule is that the armoring's setbonus will always override any that may have been on the shell.
  16. As far as I've heard they've removed the Xenotech drops from these lv 50 flashpoints with 2.0. I'm just lucky I have the entire set on my marauder.
  17. You can't bind specific abilities to keys, only the slots on your hotbars to keys in which you then place that ability.
  18. I believe the developers mentioned not too long ago that they'll not be finishing them. As far as I know you'll have to make due with Gnost-Dural's journal that came with the Collector's Edition of SWTOR for the rest of the info.
  19. They are right. Just for some tweaks here and there still needing to be made, the classes feel more balanced than they've every been, DPS trees getting closer to each other on most occasions (apart from some obviously broken hybrid), tanks being viable in PvP again because shielding now works against damage types (Kinetic/Energy, the majority of all attacks) rather then attack types (Melee/Ranged) and having their damage and utility increased. For a full list of class changes I can recommend you look up the 2.0 patchnotes either on the forums here in the PTS section or on http://www.darthhater.com. Also, you can play around with the 2.0 skilltrees on http://pts.swtor-spy.com/skill-tree-calculator/. In general the game in 2.0 on PTS seems more about playing the game and a bit less about the sometimes troublesome energy management.
  20. As long as you're grouped up with him, you are allowed inside his class quest areas on your consular as soon as he enters them. The only trouble you may have is if you're both the same class, as it will only progress the story of the owner of the instance.

    Macros?

I personally haven't felt a need for macros in this game. I used a few back in Aion, but that mainly had to do with there being no global cooldown on several important abilities on my Gladiator, so the macro's would just help me press them faster then I could myself. For any willing to try (both clickers and keybinders) I can recommend keybinding guides that make it all feel as natural and accessible as possible. Once you start being able to do the things you'd normally need macros for I think you'll find it gives great satisfaction and more exciting gameplay. Taugrim's keybinding works awesome for me and doesn't require fancy equipment. He based it around having a regular mouse and keyboard. Have fun!
  22. I just wonder when they'll ever update the website as it's got so much potential if you figure it's already quite good in it's current state (which it has been for a very long time now ). However, it seems the development team lost all interest in SW:ToR.
  23. I don't recall every having this happen to me.
  24. 8/10 I like how the name sounds like a fatal squall coming your way in the form of your marauder. My Guardian is called Valenth Guiran (Gwee-ran, not Goo-ee-ran like some seem to think. Usually this is because the only other Gui-sound they've heard comes from pronouncing the "GUI" abbreviation ). My Marauder is called Lord Elendus, which I based on the dutch word "elende" meaning "misery". I used this kind of word-base because Vader means "father" in dutch and figured I could do something along those lines.
  25. Yes, but going into stealth also reduces your speed by 25%, so it really just cancels each other out unless you take the watchman skill to increase the speed to 50%. And about that run speed increase, I've noticed it working when running to the mid at the start of Huttball matches, but it's quite a marginal increase. On my mirror class marauder I take the talent more for the increased times I can use Berserk (not sure about the Rep equivalent of it from the top of my head).
