  1. As a player on the Harbinger, I can assure you that the bolded bit above is false.
  2. Obviously, nobody took notes because... what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!
  3. Yes, planetary comms are being removed. Basic comms will now be used during the leveling process.
  4. What I think you read is that SWTOR's revenue was down last quarter compared to a year ago. This is a VERY, VERY different thing from saying that EA is losing money on SWTOR. As far as I have read, there is no reason not to believe that the game is still very much profitable.
  5. LOL, yeah I know exactly which Imperial outpost you're talking about. I once got slaughtered by the guards just for driving by on what I thought was the correct route to my next quest. Boy was I mistaken!
  6. I think I know what the OP is talking about. Sometimes planetary maps will direct you to your next quest destination by way of an opposite faction's "hub" area. This specifically seems to happen when there is more than one way to get to a particular area of the map (one way for each faction), and you happen to be closer to the opposite faction's designated route. This has happened to me on both Belsavis and Hoth. It's annoying but not a huge deal, IMO. Edit: I see that DeLaaNie beat me to the punch on the explanation.
  7. Seriously, please read the link that was provided earlier in the thread. She WAS NOT DRIVING when this occurred, and there were no cupholders in the car.
  8. I don't remember the lawsuit's name off the top of my head, but I believe it occurred in the 90's. It has since become famous in the U.S. as an example of a ridiculous, frivolous lawsuit (edit: see Daxy's ridiculous, unfounded post above as an example), but that reputation is completely unjustified. Sorry, I assumed you were actually referencing that particular case, not a hypothetical. Didn't mean to bite your head off.
  9. Ugh. [begin Rant] I really hate it when people use this example as if the famous lawsuit was somehow frivolous. The coffee in question was way, WAY, WAAAAAY too hot. The person it spilled on received third-degree burns and had to have skin grafts applied to her mutilated genitals. Please use a different example, because in this particular case the lawsuit was completely justified. [End Rant]
  10. And if they're going to make a change, it would be nice if it was a change that could benefit a lot of people--not just the folks who...*cough*....seem to have difficulty paying attention.
  11. As has been suggested by others (most recently LordArtemis), it would be great if sellers could be allowed to input a price-per-unit that they wish to sell their goods at. This price could then be rounded to the nearest whole number when the items are actually made available for sale.
  12. This would be a great QoL change in general, regardless of whether or not BW chooses to do anything to "fix" this "issue."
  13. For every new thread that is started on this topic, I think I'm going to list a dozen items on the gtn at "scam-y" prices. Serioustly, there has to be at least 6 threads on this one topic on the front page alone. Edit: I just counted. It's 8 threads currently on the front page.
  14. Like you, I presume that BW will be making some across-the-board changes that will prevent the increased cooldowns on cleanses and interrupts from become game-breaking in various situations. That said, I would be very interested in hearing more about what these changes specifically are...before 3.0 comes out!
  15. I wonder (and this is pure speculation on my part) if Bioware/EA were forced to sign agreements with Lucas Arts preventing them from doing various cross-brand marketing and promotions that could conceivably dilute the "Star Wars Brand" when they acquired the rights to make SWTOR.
  16. This is what I suspect as well, though I have not looked at any leaked information about the plot, so I am just guessing.
  17. That locked area is where the Cartel vendors used to hang out before the Cartel Bazaar was created.
  18. I fail to see how buying CM packs is substantively different than buying packs of baseball cards (or various other things like it).
  19. For sure, huh? I would certainly love to see the no doubt ample evidence you have for this claim.
  20. Uhh...you might want to read again. Hammer shot's healing ability is being replaced by Med Shot, which also builds stacks of Supercharge.
