  1. We all know what the complaints and criticisms are. Most of it is very old news. Let's try something more constructive than "XYZ is bad, I hate XYZ." You can add 1 new feature to SWTOR. It can be as simple or complex as you wish. Please begin with a short summary. Explain your idea as if Bioware is listening and you are pitching it to them. My feature (borrowed from a thread in the suggestion box): Companion Alts -Players can designate their alts as companions. -Companion alts can be summoned just like NPC companions. -They retain all cosmetic customizations. Their combat abilities are based on their class, and function just like the combat abilities of NPC companions. Combat effectiveness is based on influence, just like it is with NPC companions. Gift preference is based on class. (E.g., vanguards like weapons, smugglers like underworld goods, all republic classes like republic memorabilia, etc.) -Players are now slightly happier with SWTOR
  2. It really wouldn't be that complicated or expensive. The game always "knows" the race/gender/gear/appearance of all your alts, as proved by the Family Tree feature. That information could simply be copied onto a blank slate companion. Easy peasy.
  3. From a RP perspective, the story makes most sense if you run a Jedi or Sith class through the expansions. JK is preferred but not mandatory. Your assassin will fit in just fine.
  4. I returned last week after a long absence. Double XP is what got me to resubscribe. I bet it would do the same for other returning players. +1 for this thread
  5. I know it's forbidden to even ask for it at this point...but... new class stories?
  6. I'm sort of doubtful that the writers themselves even know. They probably added the part about the traitor at the last minute saying to themselves, "Yeah that's so cool! We'll figure out who it is later. This mysterious traitor twist will really keep the players invested!"
  7. I disagree with you Masterceil. If you want challenging content do master mode flashpoints. Veteran is for lowbies and for getting practice or familiarized with the content in a low stress environment. Veteran Blood Hunt is long overdue for a nerf.
  8. I feel you. I was planning to introduce my extended family to the game a while back...but changed my mind because it seemed like I'd be doing them a disservice. There's much cheaper fun to be had in other places. And there are games that are actually designed to, you know, be fun to play.
  9. this is why i moved to Ebon Hawk years ago
  10. I main a seer sage. Healing is my favorite roll. Something about keeping people alive (instead of murdering them lol) makes me very happy. Also my character is dressed/designed in such a way that I regularly get referred to as Space Jesus, which cracks me up.
  11. I like all your ideas. The one that stands out most for me is the mini games suggestion. Single player pazaak for companion influence sounds amazing. Let's hope the devs see this and agree!
  12. If it's stealing, it doesn't matter if it's 42 cents or 42 dollars. Stealing is wrong.
  13. Damn. We need a law like that here in the USA.
  14. Even if they do return, do you want their new stories written by these crummy writers? I'm not all that optimistic about the quality of future content and I'd hate to see it spoil the beloved vanilla companions.
  15. I think the reason everyone is saying No is because it's not clear what the advantages of your proposed changes are. If you could explain the benefits, people might see this as something better than a "lose all your progress" situation. What is this true potential that is so great that it's worth such a big sacrifice?
  16. But Mario is one of the all-time bestselling game franchises. Players clearly love jumping puzzles. You must be mistaken about not enjoying them.
  17. I'm at a point where I have more fun wandering around fleet checking out all creative outfits people wear than playing through the new content. Granted, I'm on Ebon Hawk, so there's a lot of great scenery to peruse. But it's still kind of sad.
  18. This stuff is laughably ugly. Is it all just rejected submissions for the cartel market? Are you purposely putting garbage in the rep vendor so it doesn't compete with CM sales?
  19. Thank you for this. A little communication fosters a lot of goodwill. There will still be inconsolable forum trolls but the people who actually care about TOR really appreciate hearing from you guys. Tyvm.
  20. you still have RNG to keep you excited don't you?
