  2. i dont think that these abilities are overpowered, i think that their cooldowns are far too low for what they do.
  3. Operative opener is OP. You cant defend shield by saying an OP ability goes thru it.
  4. LOL. yes im sure you and all the sorcs are just way better or "more awesome" than all the other players thats why you are destroying people in 1v1 and kiting groups easily. OR maybe its because your class is overpowered? hmmmmmmmmmmmm... probably the first one tho, i heard all the MLG players were going sorc and the class was locked out for noobs.
  5. i actually think this game could be really balanced with several CD timer changes and some dmg tweaks. i just dont get the thought process on some of the ability cds tho. did they think it would be fun to get aoe knocbacked every 3 seconds by the 7 sorcs on the other team???
  6. the knockback needs about tripple the CD, aoe knockback on 20 sec? that ROOTs for 3 sec if specced? are u kidding me? jugg knockback, single target, 1 min CD. WHY are all jugg cds tripple that of similar/better abilities??
  7. except for some awesome reason, everyone in the game has 30 sec to 1 min CDs on all their survivability CDs, except for jugg/guardians whos are all 3 min. its fantastic.
  8. my point is, the "light armor" character intended to be squishiest in the game is the beefiest non tank because the shield is ridiculous. and sprint has way too short of a CD for how good it is
  9. every game has like at least 10 of them, sprint and shield are OP especially in huttball, and they do nothing but spam their channel. what a joke.
  10. all vengence needs is: about a 30% increase to the dmg on impale. it just doesnt hit as hard as it needs to. remove the sunder requirement on shatter and lower its cost to 4. shorten the animations on shatter and impale. the spinning flip BS make them clunky and slow to use. In addition.. a bit of a wishlist would be: get rid of the bleed talents for force scream/impale or buff them significantly. they tick for nothing. in their place... i would like to see some kind of snare/move speed boost. maybe a flat 15% run speed like every other melee seems to get. maybe a snare on shatter (something light like 30%) finally, something to increase vicious slash dmg. it CRITS for about as much as impale HITS for and impale sucks. I find myself with lots of extra rage often that i would love to dump on 2-3 slashes but god does it suck. Finally, the 3 general class changes that would make the class extremely playable in its current state (well for rage and immortal players at least): 1. Ravage while moving (omg plz) 2. Remove CD on Sunder (assault is SO BAD and i want to take it off my bars PLEASE) 3. Lower CD of saber ward to 2 min (but not for marauders, they have like 6 other defensive CDs) - its amazing how squishy i feel, even as immortal, because my only defensive CD has a MUCH longer CD than other classes (who usually have more than 1...)

  14. the point of this thread is getting misunderstood. i could care less about the price, im fine with the price. the speed of the "epic" level 50 speeder, on the otherhand, is slow
  15. Seriously could these things move at a slower rate.... and 10% speed increases for hundreds of thousands of credits? speeders should be like 100% 150% 200% speed at levels 1,2,3. Maybe make it so u can only use speeder levels 1 or 2 inside cities/imperial fleet etc... but camon

  17. so i came across this on youtube this morning... operative destroying highly geared opponents, critting for nearly 10,000, topping wz dmg by over double 2nd place.. ridiculous. pretty good editing too.
  18. The big ones for me in order are 1. Remove cooldowns on sundering assault. Perhaps make the talent in Vengence that makes it add 2 stacks could be changes to lower the CD by 2/4 sec? At the moment it's really tedious to keep sunders up without crushing blow, and also takes far too long to stack sunder (8-9 sec) if u want the bonus dmg on crushing. Also assault is garbage and I would love the extra bar space. 2. Ravage channeled while moving. This ability is so freaking annoying to use in pvp. When it doesn't bug out, it functions as a self stun and anyone that isn't an idiot will easily walk out of range and avoid the 3rd hit (which hits significantly harder). At the very least, remove the long delay before the last hit and make it a 2 second channel so it's more useable. 3. Make force scream AoE. This is something I was suprised wasn't aoe to begin with.. Honestly seems that scream should function more like smash and smah more like scream. Anyway, I would make scream hit the target for full dmg and splash nearby targets for 50-75% of that dmg? 4. Lower the cooldowns of backhand to 30 seconds. Most classes have a 30m 4 sec stun baseline. We have to spec 21 into tank tree and it's only 4m with the same 1 min cd. The cd is way to long. Wouldnt mind them lowering the cd of push and/or choke as well. Inquisitor knock back is aoe and roots for sorc and is what a 20 sec cd? Callin BS on that one. 5. Shorten some animations. Smash, impale, shatter, all have long jumping animations that make them a pain in the butt to use in pvp. Swing speed on viscous slash should be increased too, instants shouldnt take nearly a second to go off it is clunky and annoying. 6. Change savage kick and pummel strike to passives for viscous slash such that slash does a bit of bonus dmg to slowed targets and a bit more to stunned. Can still have them have a cd by saying "this effect can not occur more often than x seconds." Oh and make them useable vs elites and players it is completely retarded that they don't. 7. How about a spell reflect ability? Or a cloak of shadows/ams type cd? Our survivabilty vs ranged is really bad especially when we get slowed without charge up, knocked back right after charge, etc. a spell reflect would help a ton, be really fun, and make a ton of sense lore wise as sith/Jedi reflect blaster fire and force lightning like 6 million times in the movies.
  19. No it doesn't. Without the 25 pt immortal talent all 3 forms generate 1 rage per 6 sec when being attacked (assuming you have the talents to boost shi-cho). Losing all rage is also stupid. Should be lose all but 3-4 rage, or lose half current rage. I should be able to swap to soresu when fighting a tough elite, carrying the huttball, or guarding a buddy. This swap should decrease my dmg by a similar level as my gain in defense. As it stands now swapping to soresu as a non-immortal completely neuteres my damage (and utility as i lose rage/cant get rage) and is not a viable option 99% of the time.
  20. nice video, i was considering rerolling based on how little dmg i feel that i do at 37, you've inspired me to hang in there. People saying hes destroying undergeared/low level people... he clearly showed some of those clips for the huge crit numbers. he has a LOT of footage vs other 50s, sometimes 2v1, and outplayed them all significantly good vid bro
  21. my MSI 6950 runs the game maxed and rarely drops below 60 fps, 6950 is probably your cheapest option to do this.
  22. I second this. Even if you want to play ONLY a tank or ONLY a healer... just look at the trees.. there are clearly pvp and pve talents. A pvp tank spec should not look the same as a pve tank spec. And anyone that has ever done serious end game content knows, you have to maximize your spec/stats/rotation etc to succeed. I am big into pvp, but i also want to get through the pve endgame as well. I KNOW that if i want to be a viable tank or dps in endgame pve content i will have to spec specifically for that. I don't want to be gimped in pvp all week so that i can raid on saturday night or something. If we can't get dual specs, at the very least make the respec cost cap at a reasonable cost. a 10,000-15,000 credit cap would make it such that respecing was still a decision that shouldnt be done multiple times a day/week, but a viable option also, when leveling and learning the game, i would really like to try out each talent tree, different talents in each tree, etc. Bioware has done a great job with the trees, there arn't really cookie-cutter specs yet, and one of the most fun parts about a new MMO is experimenting and learning for yourself whats optimal and what you enjoy (rather than looking up the best spec like you can for any 6 month old MMO). Making the respec costs scale out of control completely hinders my ability to do this.
