I wouldn't say you could buy true studio quality headphones in that price range. A good set of studio Sennheisers are in the $500+ range. High quality studio headphones can run in the thousands... If you have the money, a really nice set of headphones and a separate mic is the way to go, though (which Craggle is obviously trying to get at). But to get the quality like that, be prepared to drop a LOT of money on audio equipment.

There are a lot of great wireless devices for gaming now days. Technology has improved a LOT in the last 2 years. Welcome to the future.

5.1 for gaming is OK, but depending on how hardcore you are stereo can be better. For an MMO, 5.1 is probably fine. You lose some definition in directional sound when you go above 2 drivers in a headset (or you try to simulate 5.1 on 2 drivers). The Chimaeras are OK. Depending on your budget, I'd suggest checking out the Astro wireless headsets. Extremely nice. If you want cheap, Chimaera is about the cheapest you can get without getting total crap.

While it's still extremely speculative to say everyone will be in tomorrow, I'd have to guess it'll be close to if not all remaining people.

People who are willing to cancel over the early game access (that is going better than Bioware described it would....), is just looking for a reason to cancel. You either have buyers remorse for spending so much money, or are unsure of the game and need something to blame it on. It's that simple. No sane person would actually cancel over this "fiasco" which is probably the smoothest MMO launch to date. Remember, the game isn't officially released until the 20th, and chances are everyone who preordered will be in this weekend.

I pre-ordered the game long before I knew anything of early access. I've planned on buying this game for at least 2 years now. Early access is just a bonus. I would be disappointed if I wasn't in it, but I wouldn't whine about it. My only concern would be griefers on PvP servers. Guaranteed that on the 20th 1/2 the population of every PvP server will be sitting in the first uncontested zone.

I know for certain that there is a "WoW mouse" out there that only works in WoW, because it requires an in-game addon for proper button mapping. This wouldn't happen to be that one, would it? I have a Naga and it works flawlessly.

While it won't prevent me from enjoying the game enough to waste a ton of time on it, it is a great disappointment that neither of those features are in for release. (Unless they are planning some "day 1 patch" on the 20th.) For those like me, with Nvidia cards, AA can be forced on through the Nvidia control panel. This is what I'll end up doing. I'll probably also end up maxing out the texture filtering in the Nvidia control panel as well.

There were definitely noticeable differences between the beta weekends.

I'm curious about UI controls. Has there been any level of customisation added? I'd at least like to see a UI size slider. It was my only real complaint about the game.

That would honestly suck. I've been playing since the original beta, and some of my older characters have... embarrassing amounts of /played time on them. If TOR is awesome, I'll just forget about them anyways. But, if for some reason TOR fails and ends up F2P, I'd like to still have all that stuff I've gained over the last 7 years on my WoW toons. Also, even if I'm really into TOR when it comes out, I'll probably try MoP for the hell of it. Unlike a lot of people, kung fu pandas sound freakin sweet to me -- And actually the drunken tiger fighting style of the tank spec is what I've been wishing for since day 1 of WoW. lol
