  1. I figured. I'm not a PvPer anymore, although I do enjoy it quite a bit when I do it (I'm playing this game for the story and end-game PvE). I do agree, that a lot of PvPers think they are "leet" and treat others accordingly. But, not all. Some PvPers are cool people, and treat other people with respect. Swifty comes to mind -- He makes great, informative videos on YouTube, and is just a cool guy in general.
  2. Play on a PvE server, and avoid Warfronts. This isn't difficult. You don't need to remove an entire section of the player base, just because you don't like to PvP.
  3. I don't see why that would even be a suggestion...If you want pure PvE, don't play games online with other people. Problem solved.
  4. I does need to be nerfed. But completely taking it away would be ridiculous. Some people enjoy PvP...let them level in PvP. Sheesh. It would be like PvPers saying they should take away quest XP.
  5. I have not seen that at all. Asked a buddy and he said he hadn't either. It's gotta be a bug/glitch of some kind, because all player models are supposed to be removed when you're in your "story mode" deal.
  6. On a similar note: Does turning it on/off affect the way everyone sees your character, or just you?
  7. Assume much? He never said he DC'd. Maybe he logged out?
  8. Body size 3 is far beyond 225. The model is bigger than Arnold or The Rock in their big days...6'4" or so, and about 260-280.
  9. Muscle Milk is delicious, but absolutely horrible for you. Too much fat for someone truly interested in being healthy and in-shape. On topic: For me, I made my Sith Juggernaut a size 3 body. But it feels right for a tank to be that size. For every other class I have, it's #2.
  10. Thanks for the productive reply. I guess your post gave me a reason to bump it. So there's that.
  11. So, I made it home and tried out the AA tweak (with a few others)...What is Bioware thinking leaving this stuff out of the base options??? The game looks just as nice as Rift/Aion with all the proper tweak, that are hidden in an ini file.
  12. This helped. It is still insanely fast on anything above 1 or 2, and it still seems to have random fits of speeding up on it's own. But, overall it feels smoother and more under control. Thanks.
  13. Very nice. Where did you find these? Are they just in that file talked about above? That's so awesome, I've been hoping to get AA enabled, also being able to crank up the mesh LOD and Anistropy will be nice. Now I can't wait til I get home in about 30 mins. lol
  14. Wait, does that really work to force AA? Do you happen to know the cvar to turn off mouse acceleration?
  15. Haven't tried it yet. But I'll be home in about an hour to try it out.
  16. Part of this isn't opinion though. Different cards have different tolerances, just like CPU's. Newer cards, especially, can handle higher temps. For example: For the Nvidia 500 series and ATI 6000 series, high-70's to low-80's are pretty normal "high use" temps. SWTOR seems do a very good job of making use of the graphics card, and not offloading it all to the CPU which you see a lot in newer games. AMD themselves say that anything below 100C is acceptable.
  17. Go into audio options and turn everything down to like 70%, but leave voices at 100%. It helps.
  18. This system should do just fine, especially at low settings. I'd make sure there are no excessive background processes running.
  19. I get the issue in both full screen and windowed mode. The game is running at 100+ FPS constantly, until I enter a city where it can fall as low as the high-50's, but usually stays in the mid-90's.
  20. We need to know computer specs before we can make suggestions. Also, what do you have your graphics settings at?
  21. Not really. It's all pretty basic. No real limitations on anything. You can roll 8 Warriors on one server if you want, or you can roll both factions on the same server. Anything you'd want. I plan on capping one of each class, including both factions, on my server. It'll take awhile though.
  22. Ya. I actually tried playing that way too...but after 10ish years of playing games with mouse-turning it's so hard to get used to. lol
  23. Ya. They could go into the math and make 2% = the current 100%, and let 1% scale to somewhere close to 0% would be now. lol
  24. 8 on each server. Not sure if there is an account-wide limit. But if there is it's probably around 50.
