  1. The important question is...WILL WE GET MORE CHARACTER SLOTS?!
  2. I just saw a video on Youtube about E3 from Spike TV and when they mentioned Starwars, both SWTOR was shown along with a flash of something else that didn't look like TOR. Maybe a battlefront game?
  3. I find it funny how easily people are annoyed/offended by unusual spellings. Buncha old geizers and our roudy doudy crazy texty spellins...hogwash... Also, yes. There are many different storylines a player can take and each outcome can be different. Light and dark sides. Each Single class and advanced class while seeming mirrored in damage and healing, is different simply by looks...To us who enjoy story and creating our own stories, we see the difference and want to experience it all...It's only logical we get 16 slots or the ability to purchase them. Only today, I had trouble choosing my advance smuggler class...I had tried gunslinger on my old sever and thought maybe i'd try scoundrel but of course when the time came to chose I was stuck for about 30 minutes cause both advanced classes are too intriguing. I chose scoundrel...but after leveling once I started thinking"...wait...last time I did gunslinger I was able to do this! Gah!" I deleted the scoundrel and restarted him JUST to chose the Gunslinger Advanced class...so...again...8 is not enough...
  4. Well the way I see it, each character class on one side has it own story. Eg. Trooper: Vanguard Commando You have two different class in one, each with its own set of skills. From here a person might want to say "I could take him light or dark...but why settle for one when i can make one light and one dark. So then we have Trooper: 2 classes Consular: 2 classes Knight: 2 classes Smuggler: 2 classes That makes eight. I can have eight different storylines on each side so naturally I should want to try/have them all! To say the mirror classes are the same is...a bit odd since they each have their own animation, making then seem like different moves..I myself consider them different no matter if they are technically mirrored. So to cap it off, I could have 16 different way MY story could go...but I am limited to 8.
  5. I know we already have 8 and 8 is nice and all but if you think about it, you can play each class 2 different ways..and I want to do that..I need moar slots! Reckon we have any plans to increase the max number of slots? I'd like to try the other ones sometime and moving to a different sever/playing the imperial versions of them doesn't count as trying them! Edit: Why are you so offended and put off by the way I spelled "More"? Chil...you'll live... MOAR MOAR MOAR MOAR MOAR MOAR MOAR! ...Now go suck a Gundark's ear...
  6. So I've been thinking and talking to a few people whistle in my travels on Tatooine and I was thinking. Once I hit 50...and complete the storyline. What is going to keep me playing? What am I going to be contributing to the Star Wars Universe? That is something I ask myself with every MMO that I play. Guild Wars, LotRO, etc. Each one has their storyline but also has something to keep you playing once you hit Endgame. With Guildwars you had constant struggles and a point to playing whenever you went into PvP. You had an ever proceeding storyline, Continuous Storyline even after you finished the main story, that kept you playing. With LotRO, you also had PvP but it was balanced out and it was clear that the War on Middle earth was a constant struggle, everything you did in PvP effected the ENTIRE server world. You were making a difference. Crafting was nice too and you had missions that were not just repeats but were daily tasks that made it clear you were not playing a mission from the past/going back in time with the same reward that you could not use. It game you something you could use all the time no matter what level and it made it worth playing and coming back to. You had Armor pieces in instances that would take whole groups to get just one piece for an EPIC piece of armor and when you wore it, you knew there were FEW in the server that had one like it. You had customization and you had the feeling that everything you were doing, was effecting the world and those around you, you were making a difference. One of the questions I must ask is, When I hit 50...whats going to keep me playing? lets say I've done all the story lines, I'm tired of the PvP cause its repetitive. I see people walking around with armor that I have and i know exactly what mission they got it from and they are just like me...i am no longer an individual, I am a clone(lolnopun) mingling among other clones that are doing the same thing as I am... ...Waiting for the next portion of my predefined destiny. I can no longer make a difference in the World of SWTOR because I already know whats going to happen...Since it is set between two time periods, I already know that what I'm doing isn't going to matter... two Jedi will board a federation ship long after I am dead, find a bratty farm/slave-boy who gets spoiled, marries a much older woman in politics, kills his wife, jedi highschool teachers and classmates, becomes a serial killer who later get owned by his son and his friends.... In my opinion...I want to start there....right after all the history has taken place...where I get to create history, make a difference from then on and not feel like I'm restricted by story-line...what if I want to leave havoc squad...? What if The Republic was to give me my own Squad and from Endgame on, I was able to do missions that weren't simply restricted by what has already taken place to get rewards that I cannot use. Let me be able to customize my character and his story the way I want...like I'm in control. What if I had a hobby when I wasn't fighting with the Republic, on leave? Speederbike race? Podrace? Sith Slave shooting? Something that makes my character feel set apart as the best or at least as set apart as I want him to be. Let me customize the way my character looks to such a degree that no-one else in the world looks like him. That goes for Armor too...what If I want to have a certain looks to my character's armor that when I add a piece of armor it doesn't look like it doesn't belong? Like it simply blends in with the rest of my armor? Sorry if it seems like a rant but its just something to think about. I feel it needed to be set out there for some to see. I'm not sure if Bioware will read this but its worth putting out in case they do. Thank you for all of those who actually do read the whole thing. ~IrvNation, All of me in one place
