You are incorrect. There are things called story boards. All games have them. Regardless of the "choices" you make you will eventually be led down a predetermined path to the stories conclusion. Fallout and Witcher, both excellent games, are no exception to this rule.

I agree with you, but even that model is sufficiently different to suggest difference or evolution. Katana with force glow =/= vibrosword. IMO this blatant pop culture 'coolness' doesnt belong, in the same way Mjolnir armour doesnt belong, even if we relabel it "Powered Heavy Assault Trooper/Agent armour".

I am all for more vibroblades, techblades and polearms (tech/electro, vibro and lightsabre) - never said they were 'not a thing'. What I am against is "Samurai swords in space" which is my reading of what the OP wants - a katana with a glow on it. That simply doesnt fit for me and isnt supported by the EU (which isnt canon anyway). Change it up, make it like the KOTOR ones - fine. Base it loosely off a katana - also fine. Take a katana and simply add a glow? Not fine, go play another game.

Get your facts right. Where exactly is the reference that states Force Imbued Blades (note "Blades" not "Katana") are based on Samurai Swords [sic]? From what I have read those can actually be any type of blade and are not referenced to be directly related to Katana at all. They could just as easily be Russian Cossack swords. If you want to believe they are directly descendant from Katana that is fine, but dont pass off your EU waffle as fact. Sarcasm is clearly lost on you.
