  1. This would be more palatable indeed, although it would still be incredibly difficult to find a group for the WBs, at least there would be a guarantee of getting it! The main issue is they are BiP, so even if someone in the group gets it but doesn't want it, they can't trade it to someone who does.
  2. Suggestions: Add to reputation vendor at Legend rank? Sell for buttloads of Tech Frags? Add to Galactic Seasons vendor as "replicas" like some other decos?
  3. Going to go ahead and necro this thread because it's still a problem. The fact that it's only the Paper Lantern deco makes it unreasonable to just run the FP to grind it out when you can buy everything else.
  4. Please, please make the Ossus World Boss decoration drops obtainable some other way. It is nigh impossible to get a group together for the Ossus WBs now. The items I'm referring to are Irrigated Garden and Withered Tree. Currently, they only drop (very, very rarely) from the Ossus World Bosses and they are Bind on Pickup. The whole issue could be avoided if they were not BIP, so at least consider changing that, please!
  5. Adding my two cents to this. Please make Irrigated Garden and Withered Tree obtainable in some way other than WBs, as they are nigh impossible to find groups for now.
  6. When I first had to select the difficulty in the terminal, [sOLO] was not available. I only was able to choose from Story, Veteran, or Master modes. THAT is where the problem lies. It was only after I abandoned Story mode that Solo mode became available to select.
  7. Although some of the more recent sets have come close to my ultimate desires for how I wish to dress up my darling toons, a lot have missed the mark simply due to the addition of armor (especially pauldrons) where it doesn't need to me, which makes a potentially beautiful design into a bit of a mess. Cases in point are the Jedi Strategist and Force Disciple sets, which appeal to my love for skirt-like lengths of robes as well as sleeveless robes. It should go without saying that my favorite set of all is the Satele Shan set, and judging by the pricetag of it on the GTN, I am not alone. With that being said, there are many more simplified armor designs that I feel would appeal to both my tastes as well as those of fellow paying customers who would be very eager to get their hands on armors such as these: -Already suggested in abundance in this thread, armors inspired by "The Force Unleashed," particularly the Jedi Adventure set and the Ceremonial Jedi set are both examples of a spin on the classic robes without complicating things too much. They're elegant, layered, and can make for some great mix-and-matching with other robes. -A set similar to Ahsoka Tano's dresses, with her style being similar between her appearances in "The Clone Wars" and "Rebels." They have minimal armor but they are fairly iconic between the forearm-length gloves/straps, the belt with the loincloth attachment, and the knee-high boots. Definitely similar to the Satele set, but different enough that it would be highly sought after--especially by Ahsoka cosplayers, with the Togruta race now playable. -Another "Clone Wars" character who has a crazy awesome fashion sense is Asajj Ventress. Her Jedi training robes [1] [2] weren't seen very much on-screen, but they hold true to some of the favorite things in my armor sets: thigh-length robes, high-cut gloves, and a lack of sleeves. As an operative of the Night Sisters, Asajj sports a more form-fitting number that would do just as well for any Dark Side player as dyed for a Light Side Force user. Finally, she has a set of robes as a bounty hunter that take her back into Jedi territory; she shows off her arms and thighs with just a teeny bit of armor. -The Jedi Shaak Ti of the Clone Wars era has a beautiful set of robes that I wish more SWTOR sets would follow: any sign of a belt is UNDER the robes, giving hers a far more dramatic, elegant look when combined with the flourishing skirt and low neckline. It's also hard to forget her daring "Force Unleashed" redesign which would likely be popular with players who prefer skimpier sets. -Last but DEFINITELY not least, a set I would really like that the assets already exist for in-game: Satele Shan's KOTFE robes. If the first Satele set was popular, I'm certain this one will follow suit, as it has many unique elements to it that separate it from the abundance of robes we already have in the game.
  8. I already decided to let my subscription run out for this month because the changes to the companion system have just made the game too much of a boring grindfest for me. It was already a boring grindfest after I ran out of new content, but I at least didn't have to spend TOO much time on it. Now, I really have to set aside WAY more time than I have to play the same weekly heroics over and over and over again at a way, way slower pace because my healer comp can't even begin to keep up with me. So, no, Eric, I can't solo Heroic 2+ content--at a reasonable pace. Just add an item/slider/etc. like y'all did for the 12x EXP boost for companion effectiveness instead of trying to cater to one side of the argument or the other. It should be clear to y'all now that you won't be able to please everyone--in fact, you'll drive a good portion of people away by even trying.
  9. Gosh, I have a pretty big list of hopes/wants! Wampa Nerf (for all our scruffy-looking nerf herders out there) Manka cat CC versions of Nexu mount Fully grown nekarr cats Vine cats Thranta (smaller than the speeders in Alderaan?) Asharl panther So basically...any creature that is large enough to carry a person.
  10. I'm pretty bummed that, as a Sentinel, my only option to get a lightsaber that resembles Master Orgus's is through 500 PVP commendations or something. And I don't do PVP. Yet Guardians can get it as a Heroic quest reward! I'm jelly.
  11. In that one Ord Mantell quest where you're reporting those two using the minefield as an obstacle course... "Nope! Refugees blowing up everywhere." Just the delivery of the line, how casual it sounds, makes me crack up every time.
  12. Oooh man I have been looking for one that looks like Orgus's for a long time. Thanks for providing a name!
  13. Signed! Still holding out for bantha too.
  14. Same to all of this. I don't have time often to play and I'm primarily invested in story quests, so being able to speed through the content with a little less time and effort is a gift. Turning it off as so many people have requested sounds fine to me, but I welcome any further double EXP weekends.
  15. I'm quite certain there have been threads such as this one before, but I didn't find one within the first five pages so I thought "hey, maybe they'll listen if I remind them!" I think we should have mounts that aren't just limited to speeders. The thrantas on Alderaan are a good example! When I first saw Banthas in Tatooine, too, I thought riding on the back of one would be awesome. Varactyls and dactillions would be great too. Any other suggestions?
  16. Support this request! And agreed that the boots are the best part.
  17. Okay, so...do it your way. And other people will do it their way. Problem solved.
  18. Dude...that was sick. I might have to try capturing more awesome moments to throw something like this together, that's just too cool.
  19. I really enjoy taking screencaps of my babies and editing them up a bit in Photoshop. Usually just a layer of actions and we're good. First we have my Merc, Sïntas: http://25.media.tumblr.com/1f3e8713829a2c25732630c3042343db/tumblr_mp8y96sLnL1r04aqgo4_1280.jpg My Sith Marauder, Candeloro: http://25.media.tumblr.com/26b340233f8e905a609ea2779fecc3c9/tumblr_mp73lnLNMN1r04aqgo1_1280.jpg My Jedi Sentinel, Suleika: http://24.media.tumblr.com/2895522236881c66b7e9c566eb9081f1/tumblr_mp756jScfR1r04aqgo1_1280.jpg And finally, my Gunslinger, Biscah: http://24.media.tumblr.com/4ebb51b1a159955692cb712ac9472b0b/tumblr_mos391ogIv1r04aqgo2_1280.jpg I love my ladies. I plan on finally rolling a male toon with Imperial Agent soon!
  20. I didn't expect this at all, and I received the e-mail in question completely by surprise when I was already considering changing one of my names. Nice guy SWTOR staff. Thanks y'all!
  21. I started playing the Smuggler class JUST because I heard you get a Wookiee companion, and I seriously love me some Wookiees. Then I met Corso and my Smuggler fell in love. He's so charming. For the next companion, I'd like to request Andronikos Revel. Mmm, Steve Blum pirate. I'd also love to see a Companions 101 piece on Malavai Quinn in the future.
  22. Togruta Togruta Togruta Togruta!! I have adored them ever since Shaak Ti.
  23. I play a light side Sith because she's a sassy little lady who doesn't like being told what to do by a bunch of old guys stuck in the past. She's the type who enjoys keeping people in her pocket rather than killing them or letting them go (i.e. she kept Lord Rathari around and had the republic troopers help her with defeating him in the first place.) I like the idea that someone raised on the ideals of the Empire can have ideals of their own in spite of that. Plus I really hate Baras so it's fun to pick the options that piss him off.
  24. This. I lost interest for a while but this brought me back. Though I had to laugh when my bounty hunter who hasn't been touched since the last double EXP weekend had all of her quests greyed out, oops! I can't complain too much, though, since they were all already done and the rewards are cool too. I don't have much time to play this game and I have 4 characters who I try to balance, but I play primarily for the quests and the story. These double EXP weekends are perfect for me.
  25. This is a really old thread by now but I was about to start the same exact one. Please please please add a dye slot to these sets!
